They told me they don't keep records of gift certificates and if I didn't have the piece of paper there was no way they could help me. They told me to reach out to the person who gave it to me to ask if they could find the email - which felt like an awkward ask. So I lost out on my gift, but they still got their $$. No loss to them. Really unhelpful and really poor customer service and business practice in general. Who doesn't track gift cards?

After a friend taught me about the yelp app on my new smart phone, I happened to be looking in the area and noticed the previous persons review of Atlas Chiropractic. I have never used yelp or put a review, however in this case, I felt it was necessary. Obviously, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I would love to give mine. First of all, I met Dr. Church a few years ago when he had an open house Kids Day at his office. The local fire department, police department, a bounce house, a children's dentist, a local bike shop and a karate studio was in a sectioned off part of the parking lot. Inside there was a team of people putting together an amber alert package for any kid who came, finger printing, digital picture and a place for hair. I still have the one we made for my daughter in case she were to go missing. This was all done without any cost. It wasn't until a year later that I became a patient here. Being from California originally, I have seen a few other Chiropractors. I have never been as impressed as I am since coming here. The staff is super friendly and make you feel right at home. My first visit was extremely thorough, x-rays were taken to see the condition of my spine. (I have been to others that didn't even take x-rays). As it turns out, I had an old stress fracture in my back that the others never picked up. Dr. Church gave his recommendations and I was asked how I wanted to proceed. I was never pushed or pressured into care. Dr. Church never even talked to me about my insurance, his staff explained to me what was covered and what my co-pays were. I felt refreshed knowing that my recommendations were based on my condition and not what my insurance coverage was. My chronic headaches are now gone and my low back doesn't bother me when I work out. I feel like I got my life back thanks to this office. Dr. Church has since taken follow up x-rays to make sure that my spine has improved. My daughter also gets checked periodically and her asthma has cleared up. However, Dr. Church made it very clear that he doesn't cure asthma, but if misalignment's are corrected affecting the nerves, sometimes other symptoms may get better. I would highly recommend this office to anyone who really wishes to improve their life! read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Church. 4 years ago I injured my back fairly badly and tried everything short of surgery. I was physically bent over like a man in his 80's and in a constant state of pain. I couldn't walk far or even balance my full weight load spread evenly across both feet. I was in fact told by a Doctor at Yale that if I didn't have surgery within 6 months I'd be wheel chair bound due to the severity. Flash forward to last year when I first started seeing Dr. Church. My pain level has decreased DRASTICALLY. My posture has improved and I'm standing up straight again. X Rays are showing the drastic damage in my back is repairing little by little. The biggest accomplishment of all -- I'm able to return to the gym. This may not sound like a milestone -- but when you've been told you're facing the possibility of a wheelchair, and you're able to step foot on a treadmill it's a blessing. I can honestly say without Dr Church I would have been faced with either a wheel chair or the uncertain outcome of risky back surgery. I've read a poor review of the Doctor on here and what I can tell you is that Dr Church's goal is to educate his patients on taking care of their backs and work with you to develop customized solutions. Chiropractic work is based on small adjustments to correct issues over time -- it is not meant to be an instant gratification with a 'one and done' philosophy -- which is what it seems to be this dissatisfied person on here was seeking. As far as testimonials go.. I'm more than happy to talk to any of Dr. Church's potential new patients regarding this and show you the added benefits Dr Church has added to my life. read more

Hi all! Just want to let everyone know that Dr. Church is my miracle! Before I came to see him I could hardly move as in I had such trouble and pain climbing stairs, walking, dancing, getting up from trying to do my gardening, sleeping and even getting up from a chair after eating my dinner was hard! Such simple things in life I couldn't do with ease like I used to that are so taken for granted ! I suffered tremendously in pain and now I'm feeling the best I've felt in over 20 years thanks to Dr. Church! Under his care and in less than 1 year I've returned to doing all that I love with pain free movement and I feel sooo much better and younger as I'm only 63 but in the past I used to feel like I was 95! In 2015, I found the Dr. Church on Groupon. I was wary since what doctor is going to be on Groupon and actually turn out great? Well with a leap of faith and hard work I showed up to appointment. What turned into just a leap of faith turned into the relief my body needed and cherished. It wasn't a instant relief for me but throughout the months of treatment my body did finally accept what felt like torture early in treatment to the relief my body was happy to receive every time I showed up. There are still certain exercises I will no longer be able to do but being able to move and walk around without the pain I had in past is a bonus. If I think long and hard about it I actually tear up. The journey that I was set on From Groupon to now 2025 while I'm writing this, I can honestly say in happy I was looking for relief anywhere and everywhere and stumbled on the group on for Atlas chiropractic and Dr. Church. Theres no words for the Journey that it's been since the first appointment in the start of February, from going in not knowing what to expect most likely being in pain. I got so much care from the second I called to schedule to when I got to meet the staff. I know I'm not the only one to know now that they are the best Chiropractor team. Usually is hard to reschedule at any doctor office, but not this one. Cristina and all girls on the front desk are very understanding and professional. I would have never expected to be treated by 3 Doctors through out my recover at one location. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Church, Dr Rafael and Doctor Lucas. From the very first new patient consultation to the monthly assessments and all of the minor questions in between, Dr Church and Dr Z are extremely thorough. They are very detailed in explaining to you how and why your body feels the way it does, and really take their time answering your questions to your satisfaction as if you were the only patient in the office. The support staff was able to get me in quickly for my initial consultation, and are very flexible when I need to reschedule adjustment appointments. They are a very organized and well oiled machine. I have been seeing Dr Church & his associates on & off for approximately 16 years. Whether it was for overall wellness or after an injury, the services I receive are superb. I was able to give birth to my 2nd child who was almost 9lbs naturally because of my weekly adjustments. I was in a car accident 4 years ago & wasn't able to see Dr church due to the treatment plan I was on and I suffered from constant left arm numbness. After seeing Dr Church & Dr Dan since October 2018 I have only occasional numbness that gets better every week. With their guidance I have been able to resume normal activities. Today I stopped and saw Dr Church and his staff I haven't seen them since the beginning of the year when COVID-19 hit. He has been my chiropractor probably for almost 10 years now he's the best there is when it comes to chiropractic care I would never go anywhere else but him for the care that I need for myself getting adjusted seems like butter, he knows exactly what to do and how I feel about chiropractic care. I first went to Dr. Church and his team right before I needed back surgery. Their decompression table helped relieve the pressure on my nerves and bought me enough time to find the right surgeon. I've been going to Atlas for a few years. I first began going because I was getting numbness in my arms and back. After a few months of treatment I felt so much better. Now not only do I get adjusted but so does my 7 month old son. He has been getting adjusted since he was a week old. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my newborn. I was travelling on Business to the New Haven area when I experienced some very severe back Pain, I contacted Atlas/ Dr Church and got a prompt appointment. The care and treatment I received was absolutely superb, second to none I have experienced, Dr Church completed an X-Ray and clearly pointed out my issues before effectively treating me, He then scheduled a second appointment later that day and again the following morning as I was flying home. I have been coming here for years and Dr. Church is amazing! Through chiropractic care I have noticed a decrease in back discomfort, better mobility, and even better sleep! I've always been skeptical about going to a chiropractor but after I got ran over by a car I left like I had no choice but I'm so glad I chose Dr Church's office. Dr Mike will do thorough evaluation and treatment plan with modalities specifically for you. If needed, he will refer you back to orthopedic if there are underlying issues that need to be addressed. I've worked heavy construction since the 90's and have just dealt with the lower back pain. Just recently it turned into extreme pain and immobilization of my right hip. Dr. Kaitlyn took some X-rays, made a treatment plan and did my first adjustment. It's hard to express just how much better I felt. The pain and tightness were all but gone, the pinching comes and goes between visits still but a tiny fraction of what it was. Four visits in and I'm amazed! Thank you Dr Kaitlyn. The place is very nice looking and the professional, courteous staff are always going above and beyond for the clients. Luna the office pup is just icing on the Healing Hands cake. I recommend highly that anyone thinking about chiropractic treatment come here for it.
