After a bit, I wanted to incorporate some supplements into my diet. I wasn't sure where to go, and I didn't want to go to the typical GNC. Then my BF told me about Elite Nutrition & said it was the best spot to go. It has been my go-to spot for supplements ever since. Everyone I've met that works there has been extremely friendly and very helpful. Another plus are the premade meals they have available each week in case you don't have time to make your own meal that day. (But you gotta be quick because they go super fast once restocked) Definitely recommend this place!

The Moroccan delight was a beautiful, lush spinach salad with a hearty helping of chicken (extra cost) and chickpea protein. You could tell the ingredients were fresh. Most of the time when I get salad, I'm afraid I won't have enough to eat, but not this time. For me, the icing on the cake was the curry-herb Greek yogurt dressing. This would be really unique and tasty in anybody's book, but especially for a curry fanatic like myself. I finished the meal with the Not Your Mama's rice crispy treat - healthy, yet satisfying. I will say, though, that my return visit wasn't as delightful. The salad I got had a container that wasn't full like my first visit, and the ingredients didn't seem as fresh. Might have stayed in the fridge a smidge too long. Overall, though, exceeded my expectations!

I decided to try their Santa Fe bowl. The bowl comes with black beans, roasted sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, goat cheese, and pumpkin seeds. All of these flavors add up amazingly giving a combination of crunchiness and tanginess. The flavors combined all together enhanced the flavor so well and created a balance of each ingredient. Additionally, the spicy chipotle vinaigrette brought it together with a perfect amount of spice level. You can also add a protein option to the bowl but it is still delicious either way. Overall, the restaurant was very clean, neatly organized, and the staff were really sweet.

There are a number of gas station/ c stores within a 2 mile radius that offer food as there are not many restaurants in the area. This particular store is considerably better than the competition. This place has a full on diner/ restaurant inside the c-store. I've not sampled anything other than breakfast and can't speak on their other offerings. I went in yesterday as I've tried all other places in the area at some point. I was pleasantly surprised that it was clean and well organized. Not like your typical middle of nowhere c-store, gas station, bait shop that has stacked shelves of dusty everything imaginable. The dining area was virtually full around 6-630 this am. Yesterday I ordered the bologna egg and cheese. I received a super thick cut, slightly charred slab of good bologna topped with cheese and real fresh cracked scrambled eggs on a huge homemade biscuit. I went back today and got the pork chop biscuit and it was a relatively thick slice of perfectly fried pork loin. It wasn't over battered paper thin rubber. It was very good. This place is cheaper than your local fast food and the biscuits are better. My 2 day total is around 5 bucks and I got a coffee one of the 2 days. The people were really friendly. Everyone other than me appeared to be a regular and were known by name. I was taken care of promptly and the food was fresh and hot. I went back to back days because I was so impressed by the quality. Next time I'm traveling through the area I will stop here exclusively.

The watermelon cucumber agua fresca that I got to drink was also very good, but I was a little bummed about the styrofoam cup. The best lentil soup I have ever had. Now let me explain why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. The cafe is spacious with lots of seating. Very bright and filled with plants. The staff are very chill if that makes sense. No smiles, jokes, even conversations amongst themselves. They move at a slower pace. I placed a call in order and I still had to wait some time and observed all this while standing there. The staff are not in a hurry. Not necessarily a negative thing but just the vibe at that moment. Something else significant that I noticed, was there was no AC. I got 3 golden temple stacks with added vegetables and a 8oz soup along with tip totaling $53.13. They ask you in person if you want to add a tip so be prepared for that. There is parking specific for golden temple and a person sitting outside monitoring the space. I would definitely go back for the food but the stars do have to align. I do not want to be the person picking it up and I would only dine in during winter months.
