Smoking and you best friend (dogs) welcome! I loved the ordering system! Your order is written on a paper bag and given to the cook. They then deliver it to your spot at the table. The paper bag appears again at the register when you leave and pay. (If it ain't broke, do t fix it) The bacon cheeseburger was VERY good! Large hand made burger, grilled bun with all the fixings! Moist and juicy with great flavor! Fries were thick cut and crisp, they were OK but not my style. Service felt like Grand-ma was making lunch for you! They were super nice! Was it the best burger in Alabama? It's definitely in the conversation! I would place it in my top 3! Great overall experience!

5 grades of gas. That may not seem important, but if you need 91 octane, at most places you have to…read moreget 93 octane which costs more and isn't necessary. I can save a few bucks per tank here because of that, not to mention that gas prices here run a little lower anyway than most places nearby. Cigarettes are under 5 bucks usually, which is also a plus. Tons of pumps so its never crowded or crazy to get in and out of, and a broad variety of items you'd not expect to find at a gas station. Need a deer skin rug? A wooden rocking chair? A locally made take and bake casserole? Local candies and or fudge? A wide enough variety of cheese and wine to put together a nice charcuterie board at home on the fly? And wait....wait....wait a minute....think about this for a second....they have over 50 beer taps and will sell you a pint, a quart, a half gallon or a gallon of whatever you need and the prices are very competitive. Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that there's a permanently attached BBQ truck that sits next to it in the parking lot...so yeah. Just soak all that in and remember that we're talking about a gas station. Super clean bathrooms, nice people behind the counter, great prices all around, and beer, wine and cheese 24 hours a day, (except when its too late to buy the alcohol). Reviewing a gas station may seem a bit odd, but I think this one deserves it. Whoever dreamed this place up is way ahead of the times when it comes to what you expect from a gas station. Hopefully they'll set a trend and more and more places will follow suit. If you're over the mountain, and snobby about your beer, the place is a godsend. When I moved here from downtown, I was genuinely distraught at the notion that I might have to drive across town to really get the good brews. Cowboy's made my worries about that go away. For that I thank them. 5 stars.

One thing worth noting is everything we got had a lot of meat They don't skimp! I will GLADLY pay $3.50 for a loaded down taco! Prices are clearly marked Here's a rundown of what we got: 1. Torta Cubana- filled with alllll the meats and it's A TON of food. Two hungry men could easily share one sandwich. 2. Steak Taco- the best street taco I've had in the Bham area so far. Lots of meat. Yellow corn tortillas, so fresh. Added my own onions/cilantro/hot sauce so I got as much as I like to have (which is a lot) 3. Steak Gorditas- tortilla pocket was perfect. Meat and cheese perfect. I will think of this every day this week and get this again and again forever. 4. Papusas (bean and cheese)- Also perfect. The tortilla was perfectly Mexican style and thin with a little crisp on the outside. How do they get them so thin without tearing? I dream of making papusas like this. Someone's abuela with 50 years of experience must pat these out cause that's the only explanation! They are beautiful! If you are wanting some authentic Mexican food, this is your solution. There's a buffet that looks incredible. I don't even know everything that was on it but it all looked homemade. The market has the best avocados I've seen anywhere and the assortment of dried chiles is impressive. Go for the restaurant, then do your grocery shopping after you eat. Prices are excellent.
