First off, they ship to California on Mondays, so you get the package on Thursday/Friday. You freeze them until you're ready to drink them. That should have been the first sign this wasn't going to be a run of the mill cleanse. This does give you the flexibility to do the cleanse whenever you want, which is a nice option if you have a hectic schedule. I like the packaging of these juices, which is probably one of the only reasons I'm giving them two stars. They come in IV-like bags with sport tops that even have carabiners attached. The branding sticker comes right off, so you can reuse them as water bottles or smuggling transparent liquids on a cruise, if you're crafty like that. I enjoy juices, I prob have 5-7 a week. I love the green ones, the beet-y ones, anything with ginger...I really do find them to be a treat in my day, even a good substitute for a meal. That being said, I can't get through one of these IV bags. They all taste exactly the same - bland with no distinct flavor. And there is so much pulp. It's like drinking sludge. If I don't shake it every two seconds it's just unbearable. I don't understand how anyone could do a day of drinking these, let alone three. Now, I read the website after I sour faced through my first concoction, only to find that the company prides itself on providing "blends" not "juices". Apparently (and I'm paraphrasing here) juicing strips the fiber out of the drink and blending keeps it in, thereby helping your body rid it of toxins. Again, my fault for not doing my homework, but they also claim that "Cleansing has never been so easy, convenient, delicious, results are delivered to your door." Well, nothing about these blends is delicious. Nothing. I really can't find one good thing to say about any one of them. If you're looking for a cleanse, I advise going the juice route over blends, unless you want to subject yourself to liquid torture.
