Upon sending me another message only stating that facilities are closed for the weekend & so it would be delivered on Monday! I had a deadline to meet & feel I was taken advantage of even after also contacting the local UPS Store of my issue & not receiving a 2 day delivery. No compensation, no call, nothing. I visit Manzanita annually and use the Post Office while there to shop gifts and correspondence. Carolyn is exceptionally knowledgeable. This past year I had planned to send a package home and she alerted me that I did not have the Flat Rate Box but instead an International box - They look the very same - yet in small red print the boxes are labeled so one can identify the difference if astute. As I did not want to pay 7.00 more than necessary she helped me find the correct box and it was shipped out Flat Rate at 7.00 less! Unfortunately a few days earlier , I did not get the same help at a nearby postoffice and had inadvertently used an International Box. That package was sent out at the higher rate as at that time I was unaware of the similarity in boxes and the attendant there did not address the difference or take the time to provide the assistance that I was given at Manzanita. Both post offices are in busy coastal communities and are conveniently located , however I give much higher marks to Manzanita. Thank You Carolyn !
