Deceptive product description led to a waste of $20…read more Purchased a Knight's Armament Company 2-rib rail cover, new for $20 shipped. Very deceptive product and product description: "...these panels are compatible with other handguards with MIL-STD-1913 rail systems." Not true; more accurate to say these panels fit AROUND any MIL-STD-1913 rail system but ONLY lock into an authentic Knight's Armament Company rail system. If your rail is not an authentic KAC rail, these panels will slide onto the rails but not lock into place. Therefore these rail panels slide around uselessly on non-KAC rails. However, authentic KAC rails ($250 apiece new) have additional milling cut into them specifically for their proprietary rail covers. Look it up... wish I did. But more importantly, I wish Mod Armory listed that important fact in their product description.

They specialize in night vision equipment and about every little nick nack that you can't find anywhere else. They have a website that will show you most everything they have in the store. They offer quite fair prices on your items, more than a pawn shop would, and they'll trade you straight up for an item.

She stands out in CW as a bright star among the many people involved with customers. Saying we're good for our appointment and then while we were sitting there, they're up front BS'ing with their buddies and not even being on time. I talked to the group of people sitting in their elevated platform office, asking for some help closing a DONE DEAL and they asked if I would give them a shot at earning my financing to "save me some money" I said OK but let's make it quick. We sat there for another hour and a half and I was finished. I told them I wanted my down payment back and I walked away from the deal. I have never wanted to express my anger more and been held back by my wife. They asked for consideration and they spit in my face. They deserve NONE of your business!! Spend your money somewhere else!! (One last thing, the trailer they were going to sell me had an undisclosed crack in the front windshield. That's a $2000 repair that would've been mine if my wife didn't see it before we walked out.) NEVER CAMPING WORLD AGAIN!!!! Not even if my life depends on it. I'd welcome the dirt nap! I actually think I'd rather have a dog fart in my face then deal with them again. P.S. WTF can't I leave zero stars or negative stars? ‍‍‍

Definitely worth a stop if you are anywhere near it and looking for a good source of military surplus items. About the only "complaint" I have is one common for military surplus shops, they have very desirable items on display that are not for sale! I know it adds to the ambiance of the store, but it kills me when I see something I really want but cannot buy it! :D Luckily, at U.S. Surplus they have such a great selection it makes up for the items that aren't for sale!

Specialty Sports is the best gun shop in the springs…read more They have a simply enormous selection. To give you the idea of the scale of their inventory: the store is the size of a large Walgreens. The entire outer wall of the store is lined with rifles and shotguns almost touching each other, with pistol display cases in front. They have two display cases alone that are full of top-end 1911's - Les Baer, Wilson Combat, Ed Brown, etc. And then the interior of the store is full of accessories. The store is very well-staffed - there's always someone free to help you - and the staff are uniformly knowledgeable and patient. They will take the time to explain whatever questions you have. Yes, a few of the younger guys have a little bit of an attitude, and you may occasionally hear someone's opinion. What do you expect? This is a gun store, after all. The prices are...unremarkable. Nothing is marked up or inflated, but they're not giving anything away either. They have recently added a two-level display case full of new pistols on sale at what looked to be extremely competitive prices, but in general, they are not trying to compete on price.
