Damage Camping World Fountain / Colorado Springs did to our one year old Class A RV under their care for Insurance Hail Repair

Camping World Service Department Fountain / Colorado Springs damaged our Class A RV when we had it in for Insurance Repair. We did not purchase our Class A RV from Camping World because we had a bad experience with their Sales Department years ago. Years ago we were purchasing a 5th Wheel. We asked the salesman what the "Final Cost out the door price including taxes, fees & price. FINAL COST!! He gave us the amount. We secured our financing had a check in hand and went to pick our new trailer only to be told taxes weren't included. Final cost out the door including taxes and fees confused him. We ended up going elsewhere. Fast forward a few years. The hail storm we had back in August 2023 damaged our one year old Class A. Our insurance company had us take it to Camping World. When we finally got it back while the service rep was with us we noticed damage. She told us it must have been damaged when the transport rep who drove it to Denver for repair. "He must have pushed too hard." The RV going to Denver is a whole other surprise and story. Sigh The rep & a service tech couldn't fix it. We were then told it was a warranty issue and not their responsibility even though it was damaged when they had it. It wasn't a warranty issue. It was in perfect condition when we dropped it off. Low mileage and a little over a year old. I have spoken with many Camping World Representatives and they keep denying responsibility. I have also left numerous phone messages with Camping World Main Headquarters. No return calls. I do not recommend Camping World Fountain / Colorado Springs for Sales or Service.

I gave them one star because I couldn't give a zero. It's no surprise their average rating is 2 stars. We took our 2021 Class C in for warranty work on Oct 1 2020 and finally got it back in March. We received ZERO updates during this time and only got information when our service rep accidentally answered the phone and had to talk to us. They do not return calls or emails. We asked them to fix a USB port that wasn't working. They claimed they completed the work, but when we picked up the RV it hadn't been done and they managed to break the radio not doing it! They said, "It's a Ford problem." They damaged our awning when moving the unit around on their lot and had to order a replacement. When we asked when parts would be in we got a shrug. "Don't know cuz COVID." I understand there may be difficulty in getting parts, but "because COVID" is not excuse for bad customer service. When I complained about the length of time it took and the work not done, the Service Manager (Shawn) smiled and nodded his head and waited for me to leave. Never again, Camping World!
