This Post Office is definitely where the term "going postal" must have started......on all levels…read more Unfortunately, there are times I have to go to this location. Parking is usually bad, so be prepared to walk at least a block, unless you get lucky to find a spot right in front. Once inside, you can pretty much tell how the rest of the experience will go. The lines in here are always horrendously long - almost as bad as a bad DMV line. The postal workers move like tranquilized zombies and are often rude (not all, at times there will actually be a friendly worker - only to never be seen again). If you can endure the lines and the super-lethargic 'work' ethic of the employees there, you'll find that this place is also pretty disorganized. I have access to a Post Office box and get some mail in a bin. Let's just say nearly half the bin is filled with mail that has no remote similarities to by address or Post Office box number. How difficult can it be to put the right mail in a Post Office box? I mean it's labeled by number, so even a child could get it right. I have no idea what they do behind the plexiglass and in the backrooms, but apparently they do it all wrong. Really, a miserable place to have to go and probably the worst Post Office I've been to (and I've been to a few that are bad). Passport days used to add to the lines but thankfully they eliminated that feature from this location which does help a bit. Avoid if you possibly can.

This post office doesn't deserve one star, it deserves 0 stars…read more I went to the post office a few days ago holding my 5 lb well-mannered yorkie puppy in my arms and was denied service. I was told no dogs were allowed. I asked to see the sign saying no dogs allowed and was shown a tiny sign that said only seeing eye dogs allowed. What really got me upset is they told me they would allow me to buy a stamp if I tied my puppy outside. What kind of place encourages you to put your beloved pet in danger by leaving it outside for anyone to just grab or hurt? Obviously I left without getting my stamp. Most places would have given you a warning and allowed you in the first time but this place couldn't care less if someone steals or hurts your pet for a minute of their time. I will never return.

You have to schedule a re-delivery which also takes a long time after the expected delivery date. eg. if you uses amazon prime and your package is to be delivered in 2 days you'll get it a week after or not even get it at all 3. They'll put in the system saying that your package was delivered when it wasn't. 4. They lack of customer service 5. The pick up line is always looong and they usually have only 1 window open for that line. 6. Most of the time you go there to get your package they can't find it I was home all day waiting for my package mind you I had appointments that I have to reschedule because of a package...I was home all day I check the status of the package only to say it was delivered on my porch which I don't have because I live in a building. Calling customer service doesn't make it any better because the have you on hold for the LONGEST for like an hour or more of waiting before you can speak to someone. 7. They'll put in the saying a delivery attempt was made when the nobody ring the doorbell or knock on your door.

The United States Postal Service, located at 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional, and the workers at that location have a very bad attitude, making it an unpleasant and horrible experience, with the worst customer service. I wish I had never experienced or even encountered this person. This person should have been fired a long time ago, along with the hiring manager or the leading supervisor. I don't understand or know if she is the supervisor. This is not an isolated incident; several other residents and customers have reported similar experiences of verbal abuse from the same staff. This woman!. She isn't a good person, and she isn't the right fit for the company. This behavior is a direct violation of federal standards and is creating a hostile atmosphere for our local community. This place should be investigated for everything because it is the worst post office in the five boroughs. Very bad and extremely slow service, and extremely bad customer service. Please do better. You can ask the public or any customer who visits the United States Postal Service, 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457. During my interaction at the Window a staff member, a black woman with little weight on her, used explicit and foul language. This language was used toward me within public earshot while I was asking for help. As a customer, I found this behavior notoriously disgraceful and a violation of the USPS Zero Tolerance Policy regarding workplace harassment and inappropriate conduct. Such language creates a hostile environment and fails to reflect favorably upon the Postal Service as required by ELM Section 665.16. The behavior continues to be a problem for the local community, and I am willing to speak on the record about how this hostile environment is impacting our neighborhood's access to essential services. a serious lack of professionalism and the use of offensive language by federal staff at The United States Postal Service, located at 575 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10457, Post Office. This facility is a taxpayer-funded public service, yet the environment has become hostile and unprofessional for the community. No corrective action has been taken. This facility is a taxpayer-funded public service. I've also brought this matter to many local news outlets, like NBC News 4 "On Your Side", News 12 The Bronx, and Bronx Times. I will be providing them with witness statements and evidence of this office's failure to maintain federal standards. I will be contacting the offices of Representatives Nathalia Fernandez (District 34), Jamaal Bailey (District 36), and Gustavo Rivera (District 33) to request a formal inquiry into the management of this facility. A secondary report will be filed with the USPS Office of Inspector General. I would prefer to resolve this matter internally, but I will not allow this hostility toward the public to go unaddressed. I request that this incident be formally investigated and that corrective action be taken to ensure the standards of courtesy and character expected of federal employees are maintained. This behavior is a direct violation of the professional standards expected of a federal service. As a regular customer, I find this conduct both disappointing and a poor reflection on the United States Postal Service. To resolve this matter, I request that this incident be investigated and that appropriate corrective action or training be implemented for the staff involved. I look forward to your immediate response. by 03-11-2026 regarding the steps taken to ensure this does not happen again. This incident is a failure of government accountability and a public service issue rather than just a personal grievance.
