I called BIg Red Tire and explained my situation. The person that I spoke with patiently listened, found the closest provider of this service covered under my plan, and has promised to send copies of my paperwork so that I can get my tires rotated. So I branched out looking for someone I could trust and also get a fair price. Well I searched for several days and then called 4 Brothers. I spoke with Clark about what I needed. He had an engine that would fit my Jeep. Without me asking he gave me the VIN number, mileage, compression data, and oil pressure of the used enging. Wow!! After calling 20 some yards I found someone with ethics that wasn't out to make a fast buck.. I bought the engine with about 120,000 miles on it. It shipped quick, got to me in about 3 days, and when installed the engine worked great. My mechanic was really impressed. Also I got a pretty good price on the engine. Clark and 4 Brothers gave me great service, and a great motor at a very fair price. And the fact that I knew I could trust Clark was the big clencher. I really feel he had my best intention at heart. I already knew it was out. I wasn't asking them to "diagnose" it like it was some mystery problem. They charged me $57 for the oil change, then turned around and charged me $180 as a "standard service fee" just to tell me the pump was out and needs replaced... which is exactly what I told them when I walked in. When I brought it up to Kevin (service advisor) and asked what that $180 even covered, he said they might check wires and connections but when I asked what they actually did on MY vehicle, he had no idea. How are you a service advisor and you can't explain what was done, but you're still forcing a $180 charge? Kevin was also rude as heck about it. This is exactly why auto shops have the reputation they do because places like this will charge you almost $200 for nothing and act like you're the problem for questioning it.
