This place is filthy beyond belief. I went there over the weekend and half of the yard is under 6" of greasy water and sludge. Why hasn't the EPA shut this place down? They just allow an entire engine to spill oil onto the ground and don't even bother to clean anything; just allowing the oil to seep into the ground. This place is sending Miami's environment back 100's of years with the amount of oil and fluid spillage. It truly is sad and the owners and/or managers that allow this place to stay open should feel ashamed to call themselves business owners. The Town of Medley knows this and will never do anything about it because the junkyards have the officials at the end of a leash. Not only that, their cashiers were of no help because I chose not to speak Spanish to them. Even though I am fluent in Spanish, the cashier openly mocked me without using the word 'gringo' (even though I am Hispanic) telling me to hurry up and didn't want to have to deal with me. After which she received a call on her cell phone and began to talk to a family member and completely ignored me. After she graciously finished her call, she wanted to overcharge me on parts, so I told her she was mistaken. Then the outburst came with her waving her hand at me saying I don't know what I'm talking about. What an abysmally unprofessional place. I have never been treated with such disregard in my entire life. So much so, that I am putting multiple complaints in with the company LKQ. I recommend anybody who wants parts, just buy online. This place is a rip off. The 'core' and 'environmental' fees along with the time you have invested pulling the part will never justify the price they charge. Any part that is left on the vehicle is useless. All useful parts are previously pulled off and placed on the internet for a premium before the vehicle gets out to the yard. I spent 3 hours looking for the pieces I was looking for, got very lucky to finally find them... If you need any service don't ask, they won't help you. They are too busy talking between them. Walked back to the register to pay, they offered me to spend $106 for a power steering pump (used, with no warranty it works) and a little AC grill for dash board. Well... Ordering those two pieces at the dealer would have been less expensive. Don't even try to bargain, they will insult you, and kick you out of there... I was very happy as you CAN imagine. Insulted, full of dirt, wasted 3 hours, and got kicked out for telling them their offer was just NOT realistic. If you go there, get ready! read more

worst junk yard in S.FL! the cars there are skeletons. picked clean of all the good stuff. also, the workers there don't want to help you, if you do managed to get them to help, they want money upfront. the place also floods in heavy rain. and the parking lot is known to have cars stolen from there. so if you drive a nice ride, keep it home, and bring a beat up car there. finally, the parts price list they got by the entrance to the yard is never what they charge you at the check out window. it will be a lot higher. many times, its more than a new part. seems like they don't have a clue what the price for parts should be. there are better junkyards out there. in davie, and in west palm beach. those are worth the drive. read more
