When we pointed it out to them, they said they would have it fixed. That was 10 days ago. We called them again today and they were very nonchalant about telling us they're not done with it and "maybe next week" but they couldn't be sure. Keep in mind, it's a scratch. They don't have to rebuild the thing. It seems like they're just waiting us out to see whether we'll say "nevermind" and just take back the table with the nasty scratch across the top so they don't have to fix it. They have not offered to replace the table either. They got their money, so this, of course, is not priority.

Otherwise, these guys ( 3 of them ) did not waste any time and were very polite and professional. I called multiple movers and they were one of the very reasonable ones. The two times I called, James greeted me very well and explained how things works. Other than one tiny scratch, none of my stuff had any damage. I recommend them without any reservations.

Steve helped us figure out what size of truck and how many boxes they would need to bring to help us pack, and we could not have been more happy with Jason, Danny, and their colleague (whose name I cannot remember at the moment) who packed, moved, and delivered our belongings. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and not a single thing was broken or even scratched. The actual cost turned out to be lower than their estimate because we had done some of the packing ourselves, and we were delighted with the entire process. Packers and other employees showed up drunk. Furniture and rugs damaged and possessions broken, stuff that needed to be picked up and moved was left in old home, requiring a subsequent trip to pack and pick up. Employees packed up their trash and garbage in boxes. Foul-mouthed driver knew about had broken furniture and did not complete the job but company did not care once they had their money. This business knowingly took advantage of elderly women--don't hire them under any circumstances.

I found Ball's number and spoke to Devon - he was such a great guy - ready to help. It was after 11.30am and I needed help the same day. He didnt know I was an hour away and when I mentioned that he said he would call his crew who were just finishing up a job and call me back in 5 mins..Sure enough in 5 mins he called me an confirmed that his 2 guys would be at my home at 1pm. He asked me to text him the address and my email - he sent me a link to pay (that he specifically said to pay after they performed the services). Thats what you call trust between a business and customers - and it still exists in this world. They were right on time - great guys, did all the heavy lifting and even helped assemble 2 beds we had (Called Devon and talked to him - it was done at no additional cost). They didn't have their tools but used our tools to put them together. Since it was a newly constructed house and we had just wiped the entire wooden floor with Clorox wipes (yes the real not easy to find wipes!) and the carpets vacuumed - they were EXTRA careful with not dirtying the floor or carpets..hats off to them - they did a fabulous job and we were so happy that we got the best service from the Ball team - kudos to you Devon for running a real customer focussed moving business. The crew sent to my site were very late,…read moreone was SUPER unprofessional (called me for directions, said phone battery was low -- totally unprepared, left his car running with the door standing wide open for hours outside in the middle of the road). Seemed super scattered. Did not take suggestions from other crew member about packing truck, resulting in several of my items being destroyed or rendered slanting, useless, or not in the condition they were in before the move. Obstinate about certain items that EVERYONE else in the room said was not a good idea, like taking apart every. single. thing. Sure enough, it took almost two extra hours to put everything back together. Maybe because all of the screws were piled together in one bag? 10+ of which NEVER made it back into the furniture. Devon assured me he would come and take care of it. NEVER DID. Big surprise, though: my check was received and cashed post haste. SUPER NOT RECOMMENDED.
