We called them again today and they were very nonchalant about telling us they're not done with it and "maybe next week" but they couldn't be sure. Keep in mind, it's a scratch. They don't have to rebuild the thing. It seems like they're just waiting us out to see whether we'll say "nevermind" and just take back the table with the nasty scratch across the top so they don't have to fix it. They have not offered to replace the table either. They got their money, so this, of course, is not priority.

It's been in Columbia warehouse since Thursday night, today is Sunday. Everyday I get a email telling me it's out for delivery, everynight I get another email saying it's coming the next day. I have received this same email over and over. Still no package ( Sunday) and it contains medication for my pet. Calling customer service is a joke, the excuses it's the busy season, we have other customers on the line etc. DO NOT promise is a delivery date if you can't commit and follow through with that date. US post office , United Parcel service, Amazon etc. all can meet their commitment at this time by hiring extra help. There is no extreme weather delaying this package. I could have walked, crawled, been pushed in a bed while in a coma from my house and it would have been a quicker delivery From this point on any company that ships FedEx will not get my business. FedEx couldn't care less about customer satisfaction, it's pretty evident when I have spoken with a " representative" for the last 3 days. Calling corporate office in the morning maybe they can straighten out the Columbia warehouse location , but I'm sure I won't be the first compliant they have received about horrible customer service. Consistently blame other people for their issues when they are the ones to blame. We asked them to wait to unload and they refused. They opened our truck without us present and begin taking things out without our permission. They dropped many items down the stairs and off the dolly. The moved furniture with items inside of it and didn't bother to check. They broke several items and put holes in two different doors. When filings complain and case they refuse to take responsibility and blame the other companies. Dallas is terribly unprofessional for someone who claims to have been working in moving for 10+ years. Anyone with 10 years experience would know to check items before moving them to avoid lawsuits. They would also know to act like adults. The movers had terrible attitudes and even started fights with one of our new neighbors for no reason. DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL BE FILING WITH BANK AND COURTHOUSE.

Steve helped us figure out what size of truck and how many boxes they would need to bring to help us pack, and we could not have been more happy with Jason, Danny, and their colleague (whose name I cannot remember at the moment) who packed, moved, and delivered our belongings. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and not a single thing was broken or even scratched. The actual cost turned out to be lower than their estimate because we had done some of the packing ourselves, and we were delighted with the entire process. Packers and other employees showed up drunk. Furniture and rugs damaged and possessions broken, stuff that needed to be picked up and moved was left in old home, requiring a subsequent trip to pack and pick up. Employees packed up their trash and garbage in boxes. Foul-mouthed driver knew about had broken furniture and did not complete the job but company did not care once they had their money. This business knowingly took advantage of elderly women--don't hire them under any circumstances.
