I walked in and eventually placed a take-out order consisting of a General Tao Chicken combination plate, and a Shrimp in Garlic Sauce combination plate. The reason is called a combination plate is because it comes with spring rolls, curry puff, and soup. Choice of either fried rice or white rice, i got both with fried rice. You don't get the soup with take-out. I got home and immediately opened both plates, which smelled really good on the drive home in the car. First impressions, the fried rice had a little speck of egg, and that's it, and probably just seasoned with some soy sauce. That's it. No meat, carrots, peas, green onions, nothing. The taste was a good as it looked. The shrimp in Garlic Sauce tasted ok, but was not what I was expecting. General Tao Chicken was good, nice portion of chicken and the sweet and sour sauce was tasty. I was given 3 spring rolls and 2 curry puffs, but not sure if I was shorted one spring roll, or given an extra one. Taste was good, crisp but oily.
