CASH ONLY! Change…read moreMachine dispenses quarters and takes any bills ($20 max). Putting ~$8 in quarters into a machine SUCKS! But at least the change machine worked and most of the washing machines seemed like they were clean and in good condition. Also, it would help if some kind of pricing was displayed for the dryers. As far as I can tell, it's $.25 for 5 minutes on the normal dryers, but there are also "quick drying" dryers that are just larger and allow more air flow. Those are $0.25 for 4 min. For a large comforter the larger dryers are a better choice and it still took about 30-40 min I uploaded some pics including most recent prices. We come here every so often to wash our large comforter blankets that don't got in our machines at home. I came here late morning on a weekday and there were only about 4 other people there.

Several of the washers were not rinsing the clothing properly one woman's washer was completely filled with soap even at the end mine we're not rinse properly although I do understand that they are very thorough and giving refunds and I have to say the last time I was there the washer smelled terrible they need to be cleaned Also, one of the dryers that I used never dried my clothing at the end of the cycle. It was soaking wet here though dryer was cold. It never got hot. I have to say that when I first came there I really was very impressed. It was clean. It was a large larger laundromat so they were plenty of room for everyone in the last two times. I was disappointed. It makes me sad.

As others have pointed out, the place got new owners a while back. They redid the floors, hauled…read moreout a lot of old machines and replaced them with nice newer ones. The owners seem to be around pretty frequently, so the washers are well kept and the vending machines are usually well stocked. Overall, the inside is pretty great, though the new machines are even more expensive than the already-pricey old ones were. The bad news? They took down the iconic yellow raccoon sign and replaced it with a giant, garish always-lit LAUNDROMAT sign. Completely unnecessary, and really rude for the people living across the street who have to deal with that shining in their windows all night long. Also, they changed to a 24 hours open joint, which seemed Ok at first...but now it's turning into a shady post-11 PM hangout for people who I'm pretty sure are not doing their laundry. They have security cameras inside, but if you're going to be open at all hours it'd probably be a good idea to hire an attendant or aim one out front to discourage people who aren't just there to do wash.
