As others have pointed out, the place got new owners a while back. They redid the floors, hauled…read moreout a lot of old machines and replaced them with nice newer ones. The owners seem to be around pretty frequently, so the washers are well kept and the vending machines are usually well stocked. Overall, the inside is pretty great, though the new machines are even more expensive than the already-pricey old ones were. The bad news? They took down the iconic yellow raccoon sign and replaced it with a giant, garish always-lit LAUNDROMAT sign. Completely unnecessary, and really rude for the people living across the street who have to deal with that shining in their windows all night long. Also, they changed to a 24 hours open joint, which seemed Ok at first...but now it's turning into a shady post-11 PM hangout for people who I'm pretty sure are not doing their laundry. They have security cameras inside, but if you're going to be open at all hours it'd probably be a good idea to hire an attendant or aim one out front to discourage people who aren't just there to do wash.

It was soaking wet here though dryer was cold. It never got hot. I have to say that when I first came there I really was very impressed. It was clean. It was a large larger laundromat so they were plenty of room for everyone in the last two times. I was disappointed. It makes me sad.
