We were able to drive it home same day. Points for the quick response. Shouldn't a battery have been checked before selling a car though? All's well that ends well. *update* Yelp has the power. My son just called the car dealer to see how they can help and they already knew about my review. And right away, they were willing to make arrangemebrs to tow the car, buy the parts, and fix the car at a discounted service cost. Yelp is the shit. And so is this place, trying to make the best of an embarrassing situation. Stay tuned for the end of the story.... I started getting suspicious when the person managing our paperwork was smoking up a storm after we signed the paperwork for the car and proceeded to drive it off the lot. Not even a month later the power steering went out. We were told at the time of sale that any lawsuits would not be managed through them but through a third-party. I personally like the idea of them addressing the issue, because I have a sneaking suspicion they knew what they were selling.

I believe they are getting away with this by getting the cars from other states as mine came from ohio and was purchased from auction at copart. I even obtained all the pictures of the car and how badly smashed it has been in the prior accident witheld from me. They also wouldn't give me my title after paying the balance and overpaying. still haven't refunded me the overpayment, despite signing for certified letters requesting an explanation if not the money owed back. I only did financing to help my credit as they promised but they of course never even shared it with my credit but I'm sure they would have if I hadn't paid. They are snakes and money hungry and do not care about ethics or doing the right thing. I'm going to be taking them to court and hope no one else trusts them like I did because they prey on people like me and use it to their advantage and it's pretty sad. Save yourself and do not trust them. Oh and they also gave me the wrong registration putting my name with some other car on their lot I had never even seen and I'm sure there was a reason for this. they claim they corrected it yet it shows up under my security clearance questions as if it were my car and it never was. I obtained the dmv records and they even forged my signature on documents. Terrible place!

No haggle, fair on the trade and creative finance if if need be. I love that they let you test drive on your own so you can really look and think without someone chirping in your ear. The store isn't flashy, and I'm ok with that since I pay for flash. I've worked with David twice now and have been happy both times. Brian helped us get my son with bad credit, bought. Great extended warranty options.

I had a very frustrating experience with this dealership after purchasing my Jeep Grand Cherokee…read more When I first bought the vehicle, I pointed out a leak and a faulty headlight. I was promised that both issues would be fixed before I picked the vehicle up two days after signing the paperwork. That didn't happen. It took an entire week for them to finally repair the leak, and the headlight wasn't fixed until two days after that. Once I finally picked up the vehicle and brought it home, I discovered yet another issue -- a leak in the driver-side floorboard. I had to bring the vehicle back again so they could repair that as well. A few months later, the air suspension warning light came on. I immediately brought the vehicle in expecting the repair to be covered under the "bumper to bumper" warranty that I was told I had purchased. That's when I found out that the warranty I was sold was not actually full coverage as it had been explained to me during and even after the purchase. Since then, I've had to bring the vehicle back four separate times because the air suspension issue still has not been resolved. On top of that, I've already spent about $500 on diagnostic and labor fees trying to figure out the problem. To make matters worse, the service manager admitted that this is the first vehicle with air suspension they have worked on. Despite that, they have refused to take the vehicle to or consult with a certified mechanic who has experience with these systems to properly diagnose and fix the issue. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing. Between the broken promises about repairs, the misleading explanation of the warranty, and the inability to properly diagnose a problem they admit they are unfamiliar with, I feel like I've been left dealing with ongoing issues and unnecessary costs. I would strongly encourage anyone considering buying a vehicle here to be very cautious and get everything in writing.

I felt the whole process was probably the most transparent auto purchase I've ever had. I was able to check out several different cars and never felt pressured at all. It took me several visits and some browsing on the Carmax website. I found the car that checked all my boxes and it was close enough to Jax that shipping was free!! Once it arrived I test drove it, and again there was no pressure to buy. Robert was very knowledgeable and so patient with all my questions! I decided to purchase the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe and ended up trading in my 2016 Kia Sorrento (wasn't planning on that but they gave me a fair value) There are no hidden fees, or any "bait & switch" like most dealers do! There is a dealer fee, but it's not a huge mark-up, considered the car meets their stringent standards and they are a business, so profit is not unreasonable. Overall the process was streamlined and straightforward. I didn't have any issues with my purchase, and I would definitely recommend checking them out if you're looking for a pre-owned vehicle. I think their customer service is very good! Everyone I interacted with were knowledgeable and helpful! I've had my car since February and I absolutely Love it! Thank you CarMax!

Having been in the…read morecar business myself and not being able to see the car in person, I had Deny do a facetime walk-around with me. He told me there was no damage to the vehicle, and due to its seemingly pristine condition I paid their full asking price, but when I received the car, the first thing I noticed was a deep scratch in the trunk lid. Something that would be impossible to miss! I notified the General Manager, who investigated, and confirmed the damage prior to shipping. He offered me $300 to help pay for the repair, as that is what his internal cost would be, which I accepted. I consider the matter resolved and am otherwise very happy with the condition of this beautiful car.

I am an out-of-state buyer from North Carolina. I informed DaVinci (DAV) that my brother, who lives…read morein the Jacksonville area, would be available to inspect the vehicle (Car A) for me. The same day I notified DAV; the price of Car A increased by $3,000. The salesman stated the increase was due to "market conditions." During my brother's inspection, he pointed out that the windshield was cracked, and DAV promptly replaced it. I placed a deposit on Car A and informed DAV that I would be arriving in Jacksonville in three days. I attempted to negotiate the price, but I was told the vehicle price was now non-negotiable because the windshield had been replaced. I proceeded to pay for Car A in full and signed over the title to my trade-in vehicle. The salesman assured me that I would receive the title within seven business days. Since I had previously purchased vehicles before receiving titles, I accepted that timeline. However, 30 days later, I still had not received the title. Prior to my temporary tag expiring, I contacted both DAV and the Florida DMV (FDMV) and opened an investigation. I finally received a replacement tag from DAV five days after the first tag had already expired. During its investigation, the FDMV discovered that the previous owner of Car A was involved in a financial dispute with DAV, which was delaying the title transfer. I then received a second temporary tag, but it arrived seven days after Tag 1 had expired. Another 30 days passed, and Tag 2 was nearing expiration. Five business days before it expired, I again contacted both DAV and the FDMV because I needed a third temporary tag. The expiration date passed, and 10 additional days went by with no Tag 3 issued. Eventually, I received notification from the FDMV that DAV was sending the title via FedEx. Despite all the inconvenience, DAV did not even provide overnight shipping as a courtesy. Instead, they sent the title using a four-day FedEx delivery service. As a result, I was unable to legally drive the vehicle for 14 days after Tag 2 expired. During the first 60 days of ownership, I was unable to drive the car legally for a total of 26 days. I ultimately received the title 64 days after purchasing the vehicle. I provide this testimony as an example of my experience doing business with DAV. Good luck to you.
