Poor lil guy doesn't look too happy, I know. But we loved this place.

Love it! Love it! Although our poor lil' guy was miserable taking a bath, my daughter and I had a great time bathing him at UDirtyDog. Great facility; nicely decorated, everything within arm's reach, lots of complementary treats and goodies (scarf, ball and scent). The worst part about bathing my dog is the clean up afterward. Even if I or the kids "clean up", I always feel like there's a lingering smell in the bathroom. That's why, this is my new go to place to bathe our four legged family member.

I have brought 3 of my dogs here, 2 Maltese and a standard poodle, and they always do a wonderful job grooming them. My only complaint is that they don't require pets to be vaccinated, so I wouldn't take a new, young puppy there to get groomed due to risk of catching a disease.

I have used the self-serve dog wash and the grooming service. Both are fabulous! When I use the grooming service, my dogs look too adorable!

Thoroughly impressed and we will definitely be back. We've taken him to PetSmart previously and wow - what an incredible upgrade in quality here!! He looks and smells incredible. Plus, we did the anti-shedding treatment and I'm already amazed at how perfectly it's working. I was on the fence about trying it because the "furminator" treatment at PetSmart did not work for us at all. So glad we did the treatment here. Before booking, I was really concerned about the pickup time issues mentioned in previous reviews, but I just asked her if she would be able assure us of a no later than 6:00pm pickup time, since that was vital for us. She assured us she could and she absolutely delivered! Dropped off at 10:30am and picked up at 6:00pm. Perfectly groomed pup right on time. Cherry was also very nice, professional, and easy to communicate with. We couldn't be happier with the whole experience!

I've been taking my teacup maltese to Jenks pampered pet's to be groomed for about 3 1/2 years. I have always been so happy with their service. I called them yesterday to the same number I always do to get her scheduled in. Someone named Stephanie answered my call and said the owner was retiring and had sold the business to her. She goes on to say she's currently working from home and asked if that would be okay. I tell her that's not a problem and tells me she'll be texting me her address. I worked today and had my husband drop her off and luckily he took pictures as he was dropping her off. The drop off happened at 8:30am. So I hadn't heard from anyone when I got off work at 1pm so I thought to call and see if they had an approximate time of when she'd be ready. This same lady Stephanie answers the call and when I ask her about Lola she says "you never dropped her off." I said "YES, my husband dropped her off this morning" she then tells me she hasn't been home all day and would ask her roommate who helps her groom the dogs and she'd call me back. Calls me back 5mins later to tell me they don't have Lola and was never dropped off. My heart dropped to my stomach. I hangup and call my husband asking him if he was sure it was the correct house and what the person looked like. He tells me yes and describes the person that took her. I call Stephanie back and ask if they found my Lola and she again denies us ever dropping her off. I told her I was on my way and had pictures of this morning when she was dropped off and of her being handed over to the person helping her. She tells me to text her the pictures. So I do. She calls me back after almost 10mins to tell me they had found her and was in the back room. How does that even happen?! Omg I started bawling my eyes out. I thought I'd never see my fur baby again. So I get there and she let's me come in and takes me to Lola. There is not another dog in sight, but her own big dog so my question is...how can someone miss "seeing" my dog. I grabbed Lola so fast and ran out and didn't say a word. I can't think of anything else other than they were trying to keep her. I am soooo grateful that my husband took the pictures or else I think they would've kept denying it. Not trying to bash home businesses but Please be careful

I brought my dog in for grooming around noon on Sunday, May 9th, 2021 for the first time to this facility on South Peoria. The shift manager, Michelle, sold me on the deshedding package to assist my dog in transitioning with the spring season. When I picked up my dog later that afternoon, she wasn't acting normal and unfortunately the damage was not immediate evident through her thick fur. When we returned home, she spent the rest of the day mostly hiding under my bed. The next day she also spent hiding and did not want to eat her food. This behavior continued through Tuesday night when I tried to pet her along her back and she yelped really loud as if in serious pain. I took her to our regular vet, and they confirmed the touch sensitivity, when she tried to touch my dog along her back, she yelped very loudly again in serious pain. My vet prescribed a pain medication and anti-inflammatory to treat the sensitive area. Two days later, after she had time to heal and allowed me to pet her again, upon closer inspection I could really see the dried blood and scabbing from the cuts she received by the groomer using a furminator brush on my dog. I immediately set another appointment with my vet to inspect the wounds. Our vet prescribed additional medication, an antibiotic, to help the wounds heal and prevent infection. I left the veterinary office and went straight to this facility on South Peoria to show them what had been done to my dog and ensure this did not happen again. When I arrived and asked to speak to a manager, Michelle, who said she was the shift manager, asked what happened and when I explained the situation, she confirmed it must have been Elizabeth who groomed my dog on Sunday. During our conversation, Michelle said 'yeah I can see the scabs and it looks like dried blood' and that the trauma may have occurred due to the 'sharp teeth on the furminator brush'. Another young male groomer who had been listening to the conversation agreed and said, 'yeah you have to be really careful with the furminator, I cut myself on it all the time'. Michelle offered to call her manager, Cheryl and disappeared into the backroom to take the call. I asked for a direct phone number or email to the facility manager but Michelle refused and said she could only take my information but was not sure when Cheryl would be able to call me. When I pressed again for direct contact information, she said she could only offer this general email 'contact@sloppydogwash.com' but that Cheryl would receive that email directly. Not only did I pay $78, including tip for the service, but I have also now paid $220.18 to the vet for examination and medications. The manager and owners have yet to respond to my email regarding the trauma my dog has endured. I emailed again several days later including additional photos of the healing including additional hair loss down to her skin. Their lack of response indicates to me that they have little interest or concern in the welfare of their customer's pets and it's no wonder your employees lack the proper training to conduct the services they offer without causing harm. I have reported this incident to the Better Business Bureau in hopes my complaint will be taken seriously and no one else's pet will be harmed. If a resolution is not able to be made with them I will be taking this issue to small claims court.
