I found Moon Massage when I was looking for a real deal massage without having to shell out a lot…read moreof money for it. They offer a variety of massages: deep tissue, reflexology, Thai, chair massage by the minute, etc. and have reasonable prices for them. I decided to treat myself to a two hour massage and was able to get a next-day appointment on their website. The massage studio itself is fairly bare bones: you won't find fluffy robes and sparkling water here. When you arrive they have you take off your shoes and give you house slippers. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. The individual rooms are more like stalls in that the barriers between them don't go all the way to the ceiling, so that means you can hear things from other customers, but it's usually not that big of a deal as people tend to be quiet. They offer relaxing music but don't pay for the service so occasionally you have to hear an ad, but you'll be so blissed out from the massage you won't notice it. The massage therapists really know what they're doing. They'll start by kneeling on you (not as creepy as it sounds) and they will really dig into your knots. They're receptive to feedback if the pressure gets too intense or if there are areas you need avoided. You might not feel the effects of the massage right away, but after a good hot shower and a sleep you'll feel far more limber and in less pain. They also offer couples massages for any duo. When you check out they give you a Thai hard candy and a water bottle.

I came in for a deep tissue massage so I knew it would be a little uncomfortable for my back and neck and shoulders but i counted a number of times where I had sharp pain. I can't say if I'd gotten something else it would've been better? But the deep tissue was really painful..

I've had previous experience with Thai massages and knew what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised that he loved it and wants to go back! These people know what they're doing. I have consistent upper/middle back tension/knots and I felt great walking out of there. The stretching they do can be intimidating for some but, I know how important it is for the human body to stay limber (especially as we age) and I love it. Highly recommend this place, especially if you have back pain &/or knots that need to be worked out. Don't be shy about communicating your needs & wants. They are very nice and accommodating. Our masseuse's were Lisa (for my husband) & Yelli (for myself). We will absolutely ask for them again. Kudos to Thai Siri Bodywork!!!

Sarah has a keen sense of connecting to areas of my body that relate to my emotional state. She helps me find a place of centering and calming - while together we work to reset my body's knowing of safety and security. When my anxiety is at it's highest, one of my known resets is connecting to my breath. During really stressful or highly emotional times, I find myself rushing around and almost feel like I'm forgetting to breathe. The breathing I am doing when I am under stress is far from experiencing the deep, calming breath that comes easily when I'm in session with her. The relief that I feel... it's a shift that happens when I allow myself to surrender and accept through Reiki. This care is an act of self-love. Sarah's started using some visualization techniques during our sessions that help me connect my mind to familiar places of calm, ease and happiness.

But my biggest complaints would be the care is not consistent in quality, the prices are a bit high/raise often and the accommodations aren't great.
