Oasis Trilingual Community School is truly a hidden gem in all of LA. What makes this school so…read moreexceptional isn't just the academics, but the deep sense of community amongst all the students and families. The teachers and staff are profoundly dedicated. You can tell they don't just see this as a job; they are deeply invested in the growth and well-being of every single child. They gladly volunteer on Friday nights for student-only events (who does this?), which proves how much they love the kids. This passion is also reflected in their unmatched language immersion program. The way they balance Mandarin, Spanish and English creates such a natural, fluid learning environment that gives the kids a massive head start for global travel, learning and potential work as adults. The most special and rare part of Oasis Trilingual is the community. It's the kind of place where all the parents actually know each other. There is a tangible sense of "it takes a village" here--everyone is willing to volunteer, dedicate their time, and step up to help the school thrive. Seeing so many parents who are genuinely invested in the success of all the children, not just their own, is what makes this environment so unique. Parents don't just drop-off and leave; they drop-in and help. If you are looking for a school that offers both high-level bilingual or trilingual education and a warm, supportive community that feels like family, this is it!!! 100/10.

We appreciate the individualized learning plans that consistently challenge him. He's learned so much in both Mandarin and Spanish, despite little to no exposure before Oasis. His sister is joining in TK next year and loved her trial day on campus. The parent community has been terrific - everyone is committed to what's best for the school and the students, and we support each other. Oasis has the best parts of a small, community-driven school with a keen attention to educating the whole child.

He started at 2 1/2, and it was a big transition for him -- he was an only child, still on a pacifier, not yet potty trained, and very used to being "babied" at home. The teachers and Director Melina were so supportive and patient during that period. They guided us with strategies for home, encouraged his development, and even helped us through a smooth, seamless potty-training journey. Fast forward to now: he's 4 1/2, and the difference is incredible. His language, motor skills, and overall development have grown so much. He's always been a friendly, energetic little boy, and we've seen real improvement in his focus, social skills, and participation in class. We're constantly amazed by what he knows and what he comes home excited to share. The teachers are caring, nurturing, and professional, and Director Melina truly runs the school with heart. The Montessori curriculum is impressive -- structured, hands-on, and tailored to each child's pace -- while still creating a warm and loving environment. Most importantly, our son is genuinely happy, confident, and thriving. We are so grateful for the impact Angels Montessori has had on him, and we are already planning to enroll our daughter when she turns two. We highly recommend this school to any family looking for a supportive, well-rounded environment where children are encouraged to grow, learn, and shine.

The school is so well thought-out. They're intentional with their curriculum and truly focus on every child. I always felt there was a lot of care and attention given to our daughter. All of the teachers are fantastic, and Melina, the director, is the best we've ever known -- she really knows how to properly run a school. If we weren't moving, we wouldn't have hesitated for a second to keep our daughter at Angel's. The price for what you get is unbeatable. The school itself is the cleanest we've ever been to and you can tell there's a lot of attention to detail throughout. This is exactly the kind of environment and people I want my daughter around. Highly recommended.

The teachers are wonderful, the campus is well maintained, and my kids learned so much during their time there. When we first moved from the Westside to the SGV, we enrolled my son in another preschool, and he cried every day for a month. They were happy and excited to go to school each day. We're so grateful for the experience they had here!

She has built…read moreup a great school and hired on attentive and gentle but stern teachers and assistants at this Montessori school. Don't be too worried in hearing that the teachers are stern, as it is very much needed for the toddlers going through their big feelings/emotions stage around 2 years old. I started bringing my 2.5 year old to this school just before her 2nd birthday. We wanted to make sure that the school we sent our toddler to fit our needs. We toured around to about 8-10 other school/daycares in SGV before settling here. What sold us was that it is Mandarin only, it has experienced teachers, and our toddler seemed to immediately gravitate towards Huang laoshi (despite our toddler normally taking a while to open up to a new person). We also loved the idea of the teachers coming to our home before officially starting to check out the home environment and to see that they cared to get a detailed understanding of our needs and wants for our child. It's not something you normally see happening from other schools. The school does so well in making sure that the toddlers are engaged and help them with confidence to be independent. I've seen my child grow so well here. Her Mandarin has improved so much as she pieces together more words and she's more willing to try things on her own first before asking for help. We are always excited to see what our toddler will come home telling us she learned. Of course, I could keep listing words of praise on how this is a great school for your toddlers, but some of us need to "see it to believe it". So with that said, I highly recommend coming here or at least checking it out and setting up a tour if you're on the lookout for a school or daycare for your child!

They're always very patient, kind, and attentive with the kids, and we love that they send updates, photos, and highlights throughout the day on the Brightwheel app so we always know how hes doing. Some things we really appreciate is that they do so many thoughtful activities beyond just basic childcare. They focus a lot on development and exposure through hands-on activities like coffee grinding, flower arranging, and special events. We sign up as parents on what items to bring such as apples or bananas or whatever that week's activity is. We recently attended their Mother's Day event and it was such an endearing moment especially for a first time mom. Right off the bat we can tell the teachers at Nuoyi honestly care about helping the children grow, learn, and become more confidant while still making them feel loved and nurtured. If you're nervous about sending your infant to school early you can put those worries at rest at Nuoyi Montessori

Update - over the last few months the school director, Cheryl Roberts and the lead teacher,…read moreFernanda Cuevas have gone so far and above what I could ever hope for from any school. Not only do they continue to help our daughter grow and give her the personalized attention she needs in class, on the playground, in daycare. But they have gone to the whole way to the mat for her to advocate for the essential services she will need to continue to learn and grow. Our daughter may well be stronger and even safer years after she graduates from AMS because of their limitless advocating for her. Separately, our daughter is now communicating at what an independent assessment has said is a level 1.5 years above her age group. And she's an increasingly confident and determined little person. Someplace else, she might be reciting more things by rote or I don't even know what skill someone might need a toddler to have. Instead, she can and will tackle anything. It just doesn't occur to her there's something she can't do. They are an enormous part of that. And just great partners in all aspects. I'm a better mom because I know them. Arcadia Montessori school is not just a school of magnificently talented, dedicated and kind people. They *love* their students. They advocate for and protect kids way beyond what one could reasonably expect from anyone other than immediate family. They just bring tears to my eyes - more than I'd like to admit! And just yesterday when I went to pick up our daughter who otherwise has deep separation anxiety said - mama, can you come back a little later?

Both kids started at AMS around the age of 2.5, after they were potty trained. Both absolutely thrived in this environment and saw incredible development milestones throughout their time at AMS. The teachers and administration at this school are simply incredible. Each teacher and administrator showed an incredible amount of genuine attention and affection for our children. As children move through the school, through the different classes across age ranges, and through their development, each teacher has age-appropriate and individual child specific support for the little ones. We unfortunately started at this school during Covid so we had limited access and engagement early on. However, as things reopened, we had an ability to come to the school for events, come make independent visits, and engage more in the day-to-day activities of our kids. Under the leadership of Mrs. Cheryl Roberts, our children were provided with an incredibly supportive environment to learn, grow, and to most importantly be kids. Our children showed incredible development throughout their time at AMS. I can confidently say that their reading, speech, math, and life skills developed significantly because of the attention and help of the teachers and administration of the school.
