I cannot explain how grateful I am to have found a place where I felt so safe and comfortable leaving my child as a first time parent/working mom. Ms. Hema cared for the infants as if they were her own, and we still keep in touch with updates on the kids even though she is no longer at the school. My son has learned so much as he's transitioned through the various classrooms and is leaving with so much more knowledge, kindness, and skills to navigate life, than I could have imagined. Ms. Melani, Ms. Daisy, Ms. Kaushi and all of the Wee Care staff - you all have made such a lasting impact on our family! And Ms. Haydee of the Owls Class... she is truly a gem with a heart of gold. She is always so kind when she speaks, always willing to follow along with my kids' morning routine of saying goodbye at the window, and the one my son can't wait to share updates with on Monday after his weekend adventures. She is an amazing preschool teacher and I could not have asked for someone better to help set my son up for success as he starts his new adventure as a kindergartener. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for an unforgettable 4 years! So grateful to have another child still at Wee Care so we don't have to say goodbye just yet!

Working with infants is such a special experience, and it's wonderful to see how much love, patience, and attention all of the teachers here give each child. I especially love the little moments that make each day meaningful--singing songs together, reading books, playing, encouraging those first attempts at new skills, and celebrating every milestone along the way. Seeing an infant's personality develop and watching them become more confident and curious is incredibly rewarding. The teachers genuinely enjoy being with the children, and there is so much joy in the infant classrooms. We work hard everyday to provide a caring, safe, and stimulating environment where babies can explore and develop while receiving the individual attention they need. I feel fortunate to work with a team that truly cares about the children and takes pride in creating positive experiences for them every day.

I heard about this school from our friend and am so grateful they told us about them. The facility is great and our son has grown so much since being here. The teachers are very attentive to him and will let us know his progress and if he ever appears unwell. We love that they also take him outdoors as well and getting photo updates with our son smiling in all his activities. First of all, this establishment claims that it "empowers students to be innovative and creative problem solvers." However, this statement completely contradicts what I went through. When I was a freshman in high school, I was placed into an honors math class and felt that I was prepared for the year ahead of me. This honors class was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken even though I had taken the exact same class in eighth grade. My math teacher would often say that "You guys have seen this before" or "You guys should know how to do this from middle school." I didn't. I had no idea what I was doing when I got to high school and felt incredibly behind from all of my peers. The fact that the subject I felt the least prepared in was math coming from a self-proclaimed "STEM Academy" was beyond me. I know my limitations and math was not it. I had all A's in math while attending this school. One of the biggest things I NEVER learned in Algebra I at IC was mean/median/mode. I remember that everyone of my peers in that freshman year Honors Algebra I class already knew this from middle school.

My daughter has been a student here since 2015 and I am so proud to see the young lady she is becoming. My daughter is a happy student and succeeding academically. I know that our principal always acts in the best interest of our students and strives to continue to bring great success to Immaculate Conception School. Being part of the IC School family motivates me to be involved because I enjoy the IC community and all that it stands for. I am definitely a proud parent of IC. In the beginning, our son (18-month old) had challenges being with a group of friends and Mr. Dave, Ms. Ranum, and teachers had so much patience and positive attitude working with my son to overcome it. They assisted with the potty train process which helped us so much. The school also handled Covid situation well, and we never had to worry about it. Our son enjoys his time here. He makes good friends and he loves all the teachers from three different age classes. This place makes our parenting life to have one less thing to worry about. I recommend this school to all our friends and families. We have signed up our second son to be here and we will suggest you to take a tour to see it yourself!

Our child began with major separation anxiety, but thanks to the teachers who stuck by her side, she began dancing and having fun in as little as four days and the crying at drop-off stopped after 2 weeks, at which point she began to run inside to be with her teachers and friends. The facility is very clean, safe, and built with growing kids in mind. They have a really good curriculum and great activities in each classroom. In the toddler class (ages 18-36mo & where our child was) they have a 6-to-1 child/teacher ratio. If I had to complain about one thing, it's that I wish we could get more photos/videos and updates throughout the day, but since I also don't want the teachers on cell-phones all day long, it's an okay trade off knowing that our kid will come home happy everyday and sometimes with cool art projects in hand! The staff also does a great job notifying us of any incidents (booboos, bites, runny noses) that need our immediate attention or knowledge. They have a good, effective covid policy in place too and if I'm not mistaken only one child tested positive for covid since the pandemic began, but the child stayed home and quarantined. The entire school/staff was then dismissed to get tested and the results were all negative. To protect everyone, they check everyone's temps upon arrival and they won't hesitate to send children home for high temps or any covid-like symptoms. I would highly recommend anyone to come here, especially if it's their child's first school. They do a wonderful job.

Update in response to the business's comments to my earlier post :…read more - You did raise your voice to me. The quote I provided was word for word and is quite a less than empathetic statement to make to a client. You also snapped at my child during our meeting which surprised me and put the possibility in my mind that if this was done in front of me, it was most probably being done in my absence. Providing a calm and respectful environment is a great core value to strive for but these interactions did make me question otherwise. - I never said the school stated or diagnosed my child. What actually did occur, when I was being informed of his behaviors, was I thanked you for telling me. Because these behaviors were not manifesting in the home setting, I didn't realize he was also special needs like his sibling. The realization during that meeting that I had another child with special needs felt overwhelming and that is when I teared up. You then said that if he is special needs, he should go someplace else like the special needs center across the street. While this may be something you are ethically and legally required to do in such a situation, it was not expressed in the most compassionate way. - While we were notified of some of our child's behaviors, we were not notified of all behaviors until the in-person meeting I refer to above. At that point, it had culminated to the point of asking our son to leave. What I did not appreciate, and articulated this in person, was not being informed of ALL the behaviors occurring which would have given us insight to have him evaluated sooner. - The classroom behaviors were not always handled confidentially. I actually have screenshots you sent to me of other parents' conversations where they mentioned my child. That certainly made me question the integrity of your confidentiality since I'm sure the other parent thought theirs was a private conversation and not being screenshot and sent to another parent. - I'm not sure what additional support and extra staffing you refer to. Sounds great in theory, but I was not aware of any during my child's time in your facility. - Even now, you mention how certain matters were handled privately yet call out one of those in the same sentence. Ironic. - Of course you disagree on someone commenting on a lack of empathy or kindness on your part. No one likes hearing the reality of how they're portraying themselves. - Finally, yes, my review was posted more than a year after my child's enrollment. That just goes to show you how much of a long-lasting bad taste was left in my mouth after the experience. UPDATE #2 : " As we have already provided a detailed response, we would like to briefly address your most recent message. Because this matter involves a minor, we do not feel it is appropriate to continue discussing specific details publicly or to engage in ongoing back-and-forth on this platform." -- Then why are you continuing to do so? "If you wish to discuss any remaining concerns, you are welcome to contact us directly so the conversation can remain private and respectful" -- You are responding publicly. I don't have any concerns -- this is a site for reviews. This was my family's experience with your business and the review was written to supplement the low rating I gave. Trying to keep my review of my experience private defeats the purpose of this very site. Not every review is going to be a positive one and continually combatting or trying to keep negative reviews private doesn't come across well.
