    Bridge to Tysons Corner
    Jacques I.

Tysons Corner Metro Station is incredibly accessible. With the newest metro line, the silver line, passengers can easily access Tysons Corner with this station in place. So easy to use. I visited the Tysons Corner Metro Station when I was riding from D.C. into Virginia on the silver line and stopped by here to do some shopping. No longer are the days when you have to deal with traffic and fighting for parking here since now, there's a straight shot metro line that delivers you right to the shopping center. Once you get off the metro, you follow the signs to the shopping center, which could not be easier. The bridge gets you right to Tysons Corner or you can walk a short distance to the Galleria. EASY. Why can't all metros be like WMATA, with popular, key stops like this Tysons Corner Metro Station? From the train to the sky bridge to the restaurants and mall entrance, what more could you ask for?

You would need to go up and down there a lot. You actually need to go up first and then down to get out the station. However, it is clean, spacious and the platform is wide.

Easy to get in and out. Lots of parking across street at Tysons Corner mall. If you are traveling on this side of town and needing to catch Metro, this is very convenient.

Back when I lived in DC in the early 90's, the Metro didn't go out here so if you wanted a trip to the mall, a car was required. Those days are over because it is so easy to get to Tyson's Corner and this train station is very nice. It's clean and functional and connects via a skybridge to the mall. It may take you 5-10 minutes to walk to the mall but most of the walkway is covered. There are Zipcars in Garage E so I used the Metro to come here and pick up a Zipcar to avoid driving in DC traffic. It was super easy and took me about 38 minutes to get there from Union Station. I like this.

Connecting to Tyson's town center, on the Silver Line of Washington Metro is this expeditious transit station in Tyson's Corner. Large pedestrian bridge is accessible to arrive and departure from the significantly enormous mall. Roomy with large platform space as this is easily the nicest and cleanest metro station in the DC area with nice views.

This is a terrific metro station with easy access through several walkways a bus stop and a very convenient and safe car drop off spot. It is also located within walking distance of a number of big office buildings and Tysons corner shopping and a huge hotel. It offers coverage for the most part from the elements. The metro attendants are very helpful and quick to resolve any problems with any of the fair card vending machines or information and questions about the system and explaining the schedule on the maps as well. Washington DC area's metro system is by far better than Chicago and New York city the best in the country. It is also the cleanest. Hopefully they will resolve issues with the contractor and get some of the stations that are behind the build schedule up and moving

This is one of the new stations on the recently opened Sliver Line. The station serves the Tysons Corner Mall. The station has a walkway to the Mall and has access to the new office buildings and residences next to the mall. I normally access the station from the street level. I have to go up two levels to enter the station and then go back down a level to board the trains. The station is new and bright and shiny; it will be interesting to see for how long. There's nothing new about the trains that pass through. The fare is outrageous ($3.15 during rush hour) for travel between the Tysons area stations.

Just another stop on the Metro in the Tyson Corner area. Not too busy and a clean and easy to maneuver station.

I am glad to see metro service in Tysons Corner. It is great for the shoppers in both malls.

Ask the Community - Tysons Corner Metro Station

Is there metro parking for cars who want to stay parked there for a few days/nights?

No. The only parking is that which is located at the Mall. I don't think the Mall allows mutli-day parking.

Does this metro station actually connect in any way to the mall or Galleria? Google Maps says you have to get off the Metro then walk on side roads for about three minutes. That's not exactly ideal with kids...

It connects directly to the mall via a walk bridge and you can walk a block to the galleria

The closures of Dunn Lorring Metro Station is the main reason for this.   I have watched this area transform from what the area use to look like.  I see high rise apartments  along with businesses like The MITRE Corporation, Northrop Grumman  and The Archer Hotel which use to be a Hilton Hotel. The Sushi Umi store has been there since 2018 and I do not believe the restaurant ever opened.  Please correct me if I am wrong. The McLean Metro stop from what I saw today look clean and well maintained.   The escalator steps were the only thing that looked worn and scuffed up from heavy traffic...as it should be. I saw the cost of getting a day pass is still 10 bucks with $8.00 dollars being credited to your Smartcard.  I saw the new prices for Rush Hours and Non-Rush have changed in price.  Now Non-Rush Hour's price is  $2.00.  I failed to take a picture of the new time prices, but a least you know the Now rush hour time  starts at 5:00am ends at 9:30am.   Rush Hour starts up again at 3:00pm and ends at 7:00pm. I did not get to the top of the subway area, but I will another time.  Nevertheless, I enjoyed seeing the new area of Tyson's Corner from the Metro Station.  I will be sure to ride the Silverline  from start to finish some time on Saturday in the distant future.   Maybe even stop by and visit Relaxation Station  at Weaton Mall. We will see.

I called him and he had no explanation except "Call Uber". BEYOND UNACCEPTABLE. I was unable to cancel the ride for another because your app thought my ride was "in progres" AND it wouldn't let me log in to make a phone call through the app or get help. Over and over again for an hour I tried to get help from Uber and couldn't reach a SINGLE PERSON. When I finally did--all they could do was charge me $30 for the trip you forced me to cancel THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE WHEN I ARRIVED and then charge me $78 for a new ride--$30 MORE THAN THE RIDE I HAD SCHEDULED. I've now paid $100 to wait an hour to get home when I should've paid $40 to not have to wait at all. They stole money from me, failed to help me when they left me stranded at the airport, finally *did* connect me with an agent only to charge me more than double for all the difficulty, and then made it impossibly difficult to even ASK for a refund--because there's no phone service for customer support. Just their circular AI and a series of multiple choice options THAT DO NOT COVER ALL POSSIBLE PROBLEMS. They're obviously trying very hard to take ZERO responsibility for your failures. So please know that I will NEVER use UBER again. I'm so done with them that I'm copy-pasting this review anywhere else that I can and giving them as many 1-star ratings as humanly possible.

A few Uber options are as follows: Uberx is the basic: warning though you might end up in a hoopty. Cracked windshields or a car thats been keyed by a jealous ex. UberBlack -luxury car UberSUV for a large party. UberXl is a step up from basic. I used this one recently. I rode in a nice Dodge Durango at a pool rate. So from Union Station to my destination. However because it was pooled, I was last to go home #sadface. This guy drove slow and I mean slow! However now there are better options now, for us ladies to ride safer. Ladies you can request a female driver now!! I only had one bad experience with Uber but that was a very long time ago. I like this that i can request a female driver and feel safer. If your going home from the airport, make sure you have both apps open and plug in your destination. They prices vary. So from Dulles to home is about 25 miles my ride was only $30. Lyft was me charging $73. Also refresh your app. The rates change. So when its in high demand . The prices go up. Wait a little and see that the prices will drop. Also doing UberShare helps save . I never have to share a ride I also have UberOne which saves me money but im under a promotion period for 30 days.
