I started going to Dr. Roe because I wanted someone ethical, knowledgeable, and that cares deeply for his patients. I found it with Dr. Roe. He was very concerned about my well being and it showed through him and his staff. Dr. Roe was confident in his work and willing to stand behind it. I know several trust worthy folks that have gone to Dr. Roe so I am glad I listened to their advice. I would recommend Dr. Roe to anyone.. I needed a dentist to complete a crown for a dental implant. Shortly after Dr. Roe put on the new crown, Dr. Roe saw a problem in an area that was hard to see, would have been easy to miss, and concluded that the implant was bad. Note, this was in NO way the fault of the oral surgeon. Dr. Roe then worked with my oral surgeon (that he had never spoke to before), and convinced him that I should have the implant redone. It turned out that I needed a new crown too and Dr. Roe did not charge me anything extra, though he did extra work. Thank God I went to Dr. Roe as I could have had a lifetime of problems with my implant! As far as insurance, Dr.Roe is out of network for me but his rates are still very competitive with in network dentists. I don't mind that I need to pay Dr. Roe up front because I know his name is on the door of his practice and he will do the job right. That will save me time, pain, and money in the long run. read more

I have never been a fan of the dentist, and had gone more years than I care to mention without going to the dentist. When part of a molar broke off when I was eating, I was forced to break my dentist strike. Dr. Roe's office was able to make an appointment very quickly for me. Of course I was nervous going in with it having been years since I had been to the dentist and having to go in for something more than a routine cleaning and check up, I was also concerned about what else they might find. I also didn't have dental insurance at the time, so I was worried about how much this would all cost. Dr. Roe and his staff could not have put me more at ease, and were very sensitive to the fact that I did not have insurance - they did only what was completely necessary in order to address my needs and were able to keep the cost very manageable for me. The work Dr. Roe did was FANTASTIC!! I had no pain or sensitivity during or after the visit and can't tell at all that he had to reconstruct part of my tooth. I now have no apprehension when going to the dentist and feel confident that I am getting the best service possible from Dr. Roe and his staff. The great care and integrity with which Dr. Roe and his staff work have made me a regular dental patient - I never miss my 6 month cleaning appointments now! read more

Dr. Roe is kind, professional, knowledgeable and caring. I HIGHLY recommend him! He has been my dentist for the past 3 years, and every experience has been wonderful. He just built a beautiful new facility that is so welcoming and warm. It has a fireplace, a Keurig in the lobby, and a wonderful selection of magazines. I have had 2 Dental Hygienists, both whom are gentle and friendly. All around, a WONDERFUL experience. One of my favorite things about Dr. Roe is his heart. He sacrifices his time and money once a year to go on a weeklong missions trip to the Amazon to treat people who would otherwise have no access to dental care. He gives his services for free to those needy people for 1 week, he treats hundreds of patients, and he has literally helped save lives since many of the people there have infections in their mouths and rotted teeth. Garden Gate, in a new facility, is an outstanding dental practice. Their staff is competent and caring and the facility is very unlike the sterile environment that can exist in some health care facilities. The building and the rooms are warm and inviting and make the dental work experience very pleasant. The atmosphere is calm and without the appearance of being rushed. The staff spend the necessary time and beyond with patients, assuring the most comprehensive of dental care. Dr. Roe is outstanding both as a technician and as a person. Being an older adult, and living in several states has allowed me to have multiple dentists and the whole spectrum of dental care through the years. That being said, I can speak with some confidence that Dr. Roe is the finest I have seen. From an earlier car accident to other situations along the way, my case brought it's own challenges. I have been a patient of Dr. Tyson Roe for three years and have had excellent dental care. This year I decided to go to another dentist closer to where I live. I recently had a toothache and went to the new dentist. He was unable to diagnose the cause of the pain, and suggested that I wait several days and return when the pain increased to the point that he might then be able to determine the source of the pain. So the very next day I made an appointment to return to Dr. Roe, who diagnosed the problem and was able to complete my treatment the same morning. Dr. Roe has been doing our dentistry for a really long time; we were patients of Danny Lotz and stayed on with Tyson Roe when he took over Dr. Lotz's business. My grown kids still go to him. We moved to Greensboro area and tried to get with a "local" dentist. He told my wife that she had 3 cavities. She has had one cavity all her life, great teeth; and at the same time we took our handicapped son to see this local dentist and he found 6 cavities. We insisted on a second opinion and came back to Raleigh to Dr Roe who found 0 cavities. It's hard to find decent dentists, and though we now moved further west yet we will travel 3 hours to see him because he is the best and worth the time and expense. Growing up I always had cavities. My dentist almost always hit a nerve when numbing my mouth so going to the dentist was never a pleasant experience. Excellent dentist. Dr. Roe is an artist in every aspect of dentistry, from fillings to crowns, and even implants. He has done several crowns for me over the years and they have always come out wonderful. Dr. Roe did 4 implants for my wife and she was extremely pleased with the results. Yes, we are older dudes with wear and tear on the teeth and Dr. Roe is the only one we let work on us. He is extremely personable and treats everyone with respect. Dr. Roe is exceptionally gifted at what he does. His clinical skills are outstanding. His manner in dealing with people is extremely kind and courteous. His office staff are all wonderful and have been with him a long time. He also has invested in the latest equipment and brand new office to best serve his patients. I, with my family, have used this dentist for many years, but they just moved their office a year ago. I LOVE the new office. I love my friendly dentist, Dr. Roe and know that my health is the top priority of his staff. I got good advice for my son's wisdom teeth this week. I trust his recommendations. They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. They gave me a crown in just one visit about a year and a half ago, which went smoothly. In the past I have expressed very positive experiences at Garden Gate Dental. Today, I again visited to have a crown placed on a tooth. I had many questions which Dr. Roe gladly answered and went as far as to show me the process of fabricating crowns in his lab as well as explanations regarding the components used. These folks really know how to make you feel comfortable. I have been a patient since 1989, but at the time Dr. Lotz was my dentist. He retired, chose Dr. Roe, and for me the transition was seamless. Yesterday I went in for a crown and I was out in less than 2 hours with a beautiful one crafted right there through amazing technology. Dr. Roe and I joked it was his 3-D printer.
