Id like to first start off this review with my appreciation of the team in previous services I've had done by them. Excellent tire prices and services. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case today (12/23). Set an appointment for two oil changes on both my Jeeps day prior. I'm grateful they were able to do it! Where the pleasurable experience diminished was at the very end with Scott. At checkout, I informed him I was military which came with 5% discount. After he informed me of the total, I asked if the discount was applied to which he replied it was. Also said he waved the tire rotation (which already came with the oil change service if you are a previous customer, awesome perk!) I was skeptical and noted that my previous oil change was 29.95, not 39.95 for each. I completed the transaction, got into my Jeep and retrieved the previous bill ($29.95) from my last oil change to bring to his attention. I asked if he could
adjust it to which he replied "I'm not going to adjust it". I simply walked out. A few hours elapsed, I called the store to get his name and was called back by Scott. He asked if I had a question for him so I explained in short the issue. He offered to (verbatim) give me $5 back since I was making a big deal out of this. Quite brazen of him. I asked if it was $5 for each oil change and he said the military discount price is $37.95. At this point, I'm wondering why he didn't adjust it to $37.95 in the first place. It's not about the money, rather the principle and integrity of which he had none. Moreover, the lack of customer relation skills is readily apparent. To add insult to injury, offering to send me a Christmas card isn't helping with an already brazen comment that was just said. Tyrell Tires lost a customer today because of this. read more
