So, we played this on September 1st, 2018. We have played here for the last probably 20 years, at…read moreleast once a year. Yesterday was the absolute worst experience I have ever had at Coudersport. Holiday rates were in full effect for Labor Day, so we spent $100 for 2 people to play. Typically this wouldn't bother me. The greens were aerated - normally that wouldn't really bother me either, though I believe courses need to not charge full price when they are. However, they were aerated so poorly that the greens were effectively like playing Plinko with Bob Barker in 1997. The plugs from the greens were not discarded, rather left next to the greens which removed any chance of the grass near the greens being cut. The amount of sand used to smooth out the aeration is likely 25-30% of what is required. The greens are a complete disaster. I get that it has rained a lot recently, but there is no excuse for dead, rotting grass on the greens. If this were a club with severe competition, they would rip them out, close for the year and take care of them. The greens at Coudersport are typically so much nicer. Hole 11 is under construction, so they removed it from the back 9 and added a hole on the former 18 tee box and called it 17. So on the current hole 16, former hole 17, the green is actually so bad if your ball is on grass on it you should win an award. It was a dirt patch. I am a 2-3 handicapper and I always look forward to playing at Coudersport. Obviously if I would've known I would be charged $50 to play on dirt greens and complete awful aeration (neither of these things were mentioned prior to the acceptance of my pair of $50 greens fees) then I would've gone somewhere else. Bolivar was recently under water for 3 weeks, and it is not in nearly as bad of shape as Coudersport is. Coudersport will likely not be getting any money from my family or I again.

This golf course is one of my favorite in the world! If…read moreyou've never golfed in this area, you are in for a treat. Challenging, beautiful and the putting greens are fast. Well worth the flight to Buffalo and the drive to Coudersport. There are a few more golf courses within driving distance to make a heck of a golf vacation in the mountains.

In the Corning are we have a couple options if you want to play mini golf. Park Ave is the best…read moreoption. The course is well maintained and looks very nice. It is 18 holes and has a pretty cool waterfall on the course. If you need a snack they have ice Cream Treats, Candy, and Soft Drinks available to make your visit more enjoyable! However that is not all the offer!! They have driving Range and batting Cages are open 7 Days a Week by token machines. both well maintained. A 21 foot challenging climb and bungee trampoline for those looking for something more adventurous. Water Wars This is something I have yet to try but it looks like it could be a lot of fun. Water Wars is a game or competition--here is how you play: Opponents go to opposing battle stations with buckets of water balloons. Each battle station has a water balloon launcher. Place a balloon in the launcher, pull down on the handle, aim, and fire! Your balloon soars high through the air and comes crashing down on your opponent's battle station. There are strategically placed slots and holes in the structure that allows the water to come through. You might get sprinkled, sprayed, or saturated, but watch out, retaliation comes quickly....! Coming soon Laser Tag!! They announced very soon hopfully by the end of June their new tactical course will be open for play!! The games will be all mission based play. Games are based on video games - Capture the flag, Sector control etc. This will be a great team building or addition to corporate parties or just something fun to do after playing a round of mini golf. The verdict This place has alot of offer anyone of any age and great price. We had 16 people do 18 holes of golf for 96 bucks what a great deal! Weather you just want to play some leisure gold or go all out and play laser tag and climb the wall there is something for everyone here!
