It's been three months and thousands of miles and it still smells like oil when we drive. Car washes including the undercarriage don't clean it. I went to another place and they said there's no leak. Not only were they responsive and communicative every step of the way, they talked about various options for the very broken car I had towed in. They worked really hard to diagnose the issues (broken control arm, and several other suspension issues), they went to great lengths to find the necessary parts, gave a very reasonable quote, and fixed everything within the promised price. No surprises. Dale was great to talk to, very honest, and knows what he's doing. Real mechanics here, not just parts changers.

Wanted to charge me $200 to replace a serpentine belt, which I did myself in 5 min with an OEM belt that cost 1/3 less than they would have charged me. If you need a cheap place to get your oil changed, and you can muster the attention to watch them work the whole time on the overhead camera feed to the tv in the waiting room, maybe worth it?

One who genuinely thanked me for calling and didn't rush me off the phone. He said to call back 45 mins before I was ready to come in and he would make sure my car would get worked on right away. I called back this afternoon and they took me right away. Rob at the front desk was very friendly and the waiting room was very comfortable. As a younger female, autoshops aren't usually the most welcoming places, but this was the best auto-realted shop I have ever been to. They even fixed my tire free of charge and encouraged me to come back if I needed any other work done. Excellent experience. I didn't realize there were still businesses in the world today that ran with genuine hospitality! I highly recommend.

Overloaded. New…read moreservice appt person has problems remembering things that were just told (what was your name again? which car? what was it again that you wanted?) Multiple mistakes in a row. Had the car in and the transmission line wasn't put back properly, had to get a master mechanic over in my driveway to put it back so the car was usable. Then had it towed to them and they did repair it for parts cost only, but for a family vehicle and tow it was strike one. Next it was the second time the brake pad sensor failed after coming out of their shop after they did rotors/pads. No memory of it happening before (i finally remembered after reviewing old invoices) Asked them to contact a local shop so i didn't have to have it towed over to them again and they got too busy to do it. Called again the next day and they did call the local shop but forgot if it was the front or rear sensor. I had already ordered both from napa so i told them to just credit my account for the next work we did together when we weren't on vacation and they said to just work with the new mechanic since i didn't want to work with them, i just laughed and hung up. Oh and the new text messaging system they put in isn't monitored and half the staff doesn't have access to it or it doesn't work properly so don't get excited thinking it will make it any easier to keep track of things...

I have been going to Superior Auto for my vehicle repairs for 20 years. I first went there because…read moreit was convenient, I could drop off the car and then walk to the bus to work. I would come back from my shift and it would be waiting for me. Now I no longer work in the area, but I continue to bring my cars there, even though I'm 45 minutes away. I don't trust anyone else with my cars. The total trust was built when I brought my truck in for corroded gas lines. The owner refused to fix it because the entire underneath was completely rotted out. He could have fixed it and made money off it, but refused because the vehicle wasn't safe. I ended up scrapping the vehicle. Another thing I love about them is if you need an oil change, you don't need an appointment, you can stop in and they will drop everything to take care of walk-ins.
