The first thing that caught my attention was the dental practice itself; it was clean, welcoming and the staff were friendly. I was attended to quickly, taken into a small room for x-rays that were immediately available for viewing on a computer screen. When Dr. Rich arrived, he evaluated my x-rays, showing me exactly where the issues were on a faulty crown I had and a fractured tooth. He was easy to talk to, informative and provided me with what felt like an objective evaluation of my dental situation; answering each of my questions in detail. As this was my first appointment here, he checked over my teeth, he did so with care and was apologetic at any discomfort I endured. When he was done, he gave me a full assessment and treatment plan; referring me to nearby dental surgeons that he trusted. In the crown I had mentioned, I had recently had a root canal done with temporary filling. During his examination, he noticed the filling had almost all gone and so he refilled it with a stronger, longer lasting filling; free of charge. Furthermore, at the front desk, they waived the charge for the entire appointment, despite our willingness to pay; an unexpected and kind gesture. Overall, Dr. Rich is a great dentist; he was friendly, knowledgeable and generous with his time. My appointment with him put me at ease and there was never a point where I felt like he was trying to push unnecessary work. Dr. Nguyen took the time to have a sit down discussion with me about the full scope of work indicated, without pressuring me, and encouraged me to get other opinions because he was a new provider to me and delivering the bad news. However, I already knew most of what I'd been avoiding and came up with a plan to stage the work over time in the way that would give me the best results. Chair side assistants seem to read his mind as he works and again, everyone sensitive to and supportive of my comfort throughout. Including my nervous chatter before and after treatment. You are given a bag of complimentary dental items when you leave (Toothbrush, floss, etc.) They text you to remind you of appointments.
