It is not on the highway, so most people who are just tourist going to Mt. Hood won't know the little gem is back here, waiting to save them money, say they forget the hot dog buns or lighter fluid. Trust me this happens(cough to me cough) and I live here. It has that classic country store thing going, smidge grungy, smidge outdated, charcoal, beer, ice... you know the staples. But for the locals there are the things like the organic ketchup and stuff you might have forgotten and don't want to run up the highway to get it. They don't price to rip you off here and that warrants a solid 4 stars. They have a pretty decent hot deli too, I haven't gotten anything there in a while, so I can't really comment on it. I'd hate to rave on yelp and have you come back and message me it was the worst hot deli you've ever seen, so I will keep it current.
