The dental hygienist, Lynette, was great and did really thorough work and made me super comfortable. A few months later, I went back after having insidious molar pain that was severe enough to wake me from my sleep. Long story short, I needed a root canal. I believe a root canal was likely the appropriate treatment plan. However, almost 6 months later I am still having problems with the tooth. I went back in at which time Dr. Dickinson said he likely missed a nerve during the root canal. I was hesitant to let him perform a second root canal so he "corrected the bite" which helped a little with the pain. I still have intermittent pain and now have daily bleeding from the gums around that tooth. (This is $2,400 later out of my own pocket). I am a health freak! I floss 1-2x a day. I use Tom's toothpaste. I use charcoal to whiten my teeth instead of chemicals that can ruin the enamel. If you look at most of my Yelp reviews, they are positive. I am only writing this because I originally went here due to the positive reviews on Yelp. If you only need a teeth cleaning, this office is great. If you need any other dental work I would highly advice not going here.

They had a great introductory offer for new patients, $59 for full exam, xrays, teeth cleaning, etc. I was ecstatic. The visit started off fine, the office is very clean and the staff is friendly. I had my teeth cleaned after my x-rays and the assistant went to get the dentist. He did a full exam on my mouth and informed me I had over 15 cavities in my mouth. I was in complete shock - I had gone a year without dental work, but I am an avid teeth brusher twice daily. I had only had two cavities in 25 years, and very minor ones at that. I couldn't believe that so much changed over one year. I was obviously very upset and the dentist told me not to worry, just have my insurance submitted and we could work out the rest. It turns out that all of the dental work was supposed to cost me $2,400, with insurance only covering $1,000. He told me it was imperative I have these cavities filled as soon as possible and I have this done over a four-appointment process. I was extremely upset but made the appointments anyway. I was discussing my predicament with a coworker, who told me this sounded a little fishy, maybe I should get a second opinion. I went to a different local dentist for a full exam: turns out I have ZERO cavities in my mouth. He did a full exam, x-rays, the whole nine yards. I told him he must be mistaken because this other man told me my mouth is full of cavities. This new dentist, who has been in business on the island for over 20 years, said he has 100% confidence in his diagnosis that my teeth have no cavities. I don't know what kind of scam they are trying to pull over at this office, but when I tried to call the office and discuss this with the dentist who saw me, I never heard back. I am not surprised that he would try to tack on extra dental work after only charging $59 for full cleaning, xrays, etc. (those costs can sometimes add up to $200). Maybe he is making up for the discount in other ways, like charging non suspecting customers like myself with thousands of dollars of unnecessary dental work. I wouldn't know, because I don't hear back from him! Buyer beware.

She has a sense for the patient and making them comfortable(ethical prescription). Madison her dental assistant was also very good. The vibe was fantastic. The program on the TV at the front was quaint, lively, and relaxing. You must get your teeth tended to at Millers dental office. He hires the best personnel. It's a very clean and refreshing experience. I'd like to add I had Morgan as a dental hygienist. Absolutely fantastic. How these ladies do it is amazing. Morgan is a breath of fresh air and I mean that in so many ways. She is very delicate but punctuated in her practice. She is very much a professional and also very convivial. I would recommend to anyone. Dr. Woodward seems to be even better than Dr. Duffy. He is mannerly, reposed, and calm much like someone else I remember who founded the dentist office of Millers. Dr. Woodward is strait-laced and all business. He's also very much attuned to the good graces of being a dentist and much more refined at it than his predecessor. The dentist office also is very much concerned with well being of those seeking careers. It is of utmost importance to support these people in their patriotic endeavors. The rewards are reaped at the level of the patient after all. I'd like to say the front office is this best. This is the kindest organization. They are very accommodating. They want the best experience for you. These people are top of the line. I almost feel ashamed to be around such good and kind people. I went to get my Crown done and Danielle helped amazingly at the front and even welcomed me with a hug. Dr Millers Dentist Office in Savannah, GA is one big happy family. Andrea is one of the best at setting things up and cleaning things up. Such a kind and relatable person that is down to earth, Dr. Duffy is amazing in terms of her capacity to spice things up and be fun and sparkly about things. She is quite the professional and expert in dentistry. Dr. Spivey is very fun and very competent. He came and finished the job. My mom, who has had a stroke and…read moreis in the nursing home acquired the services of Miller Dental Group Pooler, LLC to realign her dentures because she had lost significant weight which resulted in her dentures not fitting correctly. She paid $800.00 to them up front on July 25, 2025. They took 2 minutes to "realign" the dentures and then told us to follow up to determine whether or not the dentures needed to be readjusted again or new ones were needed. At the follow up appointment she informed them that they did not fit and she was unable to wear the dentures. The dentist recommended obtaining a new set of top dentures instead of trying to realign them to fit. They told us at that appointment (and two other previous occasions), that the amount previously paid to them would be applied to those new dentures. It was decided that she would come back for an appointment to get fitted for the new dentures. However, after this was decided (in the same appointment), prior to leaving, the dentist then had his staff informed us that he was not going to do anything until she consulted with a specialist first. We stated that obviously we could not afford that as all of my mom's income was income was going to the nursing home. Despite informing the staff, the dentist still refused to do anything until she went to the specialist which was going to cost close to $300.00 to just get in the door to talk to the specialist, money which we did not have. Because the dentist refused to do anything further, we asked for a refund of the monies that were previously paid as nothing was done and nothing was going to be done. We were told that someone from the practice would call us about the issue of the refund. Never received a phone call and had to contact the practice again in January, 2026, at which time, the practice informed them that they would not refund any money at all for services never rendered and dentures that she was never able to use. $800.00 for nothing! All they care about is taking your money.

Also, I recently got a new crown. Soon after the crown, I noticed throbbing. Dr. Martello said it was due to placque irritaiting the gum. I continued to have throbbing for over 5 months and finally got in to see another dentist. It turned out to be a large abscess that was there long enough to degrade the bone and cause further infection in the sinuses. As a result, I had to have a root canal. Also, the crown is of poor quality and may need to be replaced. I have since heard of other complaints about Dr. Martello. Don't go there!
