Ty and his wife Christina photographed our wedding on May 16, 2015 in Sidney, OH and we couldn't have been happier! Every aspect of working with Ty was wonderful and easy. I first contacted Ty before our wedding date was even set and he was always prompt and thorough with his replies. He was very accommodating to our circumstances (I was in Iowa, my fiance was in Maryland, and the wedding was in Ohio) and happily met with us while we were in Ohio visiting family for Christmas. I even asked Ty a question once that was totally unrelated to photography, but had more to do with another vendor's question, and he happily responded to my question, even though it wasn't related to his business. I felt that Ty and Christina were always very warm and friendly, down-to-earth, and very professional. Ty didn't barrage us with unnecessary communication in the time between signing the contract and the wedding and never pushed any of his services, but always offered them with a detailed explanation and sometimes examples of his work. A couple weeks before the wedding we got the final details worked out and my husband and I got a text from Ty the morning of the wedding with the first timeline details. Ty and Christina were wonderful to work with on the day of the wedding. Everything was on time and there were no surprises or miscommunications. They were both very easy-going and relaxed, which helped us relax. They never got in the way or were in any way demanding. They just went with the flow of the day and the atmosphere. We had a lot of small children in and at the wedding and both Ty and Christina were wonderful with working with them. There were so many great shots of the kids and Ty and Christina didn't mind making themselves look a little silly in order to get the little ones' attentions during family photos. One photo had a 2 year old and 3 babies under 9 months and they're all looking at the camera! Ty and Christina held a great balance of guiding us through parts of the day and being completely invisible to us at other times. They were also flexible and prepared for the weather. It rained all day the day of the wedding so there wasn't much natural light in the sanctuary for the ceremony. Ty provided lighting that not only enhanced the photos, but gave our guests a better experience. They even came prepared with clear umbrellas and towels so we could take a few pictures outside in the rain (some of our favorites!) They never stopped snapping photos at the reception and got a lot of great moments of us and our guests on the dance floor. Ty got the finished photos to us in 3 weeks - 665 photos. We were extremely pleased with the shots. We have gotten so many compliments on the photos. Ty and Christina were able to understand the tone we wanted for our wedding (classic, timeless) and the photos absolutely match. Ty and Christina did a fantastic job on my wedding pictures as well as engagement pictures! Communication with Ty was smooth the whole process, he always had personal touches in his emails and genuinely cares about his clients. On the wedding day Ty and Christina helped me relax with how amazing they handled everything. They showed up early to the venue to scout it out and find good areas for pictures, they kept with the schedule we made beforehand, they interacted well with the whole wedding party making us feel relaxed and laughing for some pictures. I had my wedding pictures edited and sent to me about 10 days after the wedding, I think! And the pictures were amazing!! I have them all over our house as well as my parents and in-laws. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Ty twice... the first time was with him and Christina for our engagement photos which turned out amazing! We wanted to get some of these photos with our two dogs (boxers) and they were more than okay with it and made sure we got some amazing shots with them. The second time we got to work with Ty was our wedding day! He was by far the person we were most impressed with for the entire wedding including planning and prep. Due to the large wedding party we had (8-9 on each side) getting ready took longer than anticipated, but Ty didn't let that get in the way and remained calm which helped me remain calm as well. My husband and I are both extremely satisfied with all of our photos as are our family and friends. My parents and many of our friends have taken the time to tell us how great they thought Ty was the day of the wedding. If I had to do it all over again I would pick him as our photographer a million times! Ty and Christina are wonderful people and gifted and professional photographers. Ty was incredibly prompt with emails, he even Skyped with us! (We couldn't make it to meet with him before the wedding and Ty wanted to meet us before the big day to help us feel a little more comfortable--he was right--a great idea.) Ty and Christina were early to the venue, even though myself and the wedding party was late. Being off schedule made me a bit frantic and anxious, but they both stayed calm and help put us all at ease. They got right to work to make up for lost time without making anybody feel rushed, and still getting people to enjoy themselves. I still don't know how they managed to get so many beautiful photos before the ceremony and still start on time. During and after the ceremony, Ty and Christina worked as a team and delivered such incredible photos from multiple angles. Our ceremony was outside on a sunny fall day and they captured the vibrant colors of the leaves behind us, as well as the sunflowers in our bouquets popping against our dresses. Everybody looked stunning--they were careful to help us with hair, hand positions that looked unnatural, clothing that was out of place. Out of the 660 photos that were returned to us in less than a month, nobody had their eyes closed, or had an unflattering photo. Throughout the entire day, I felt at ease knowing that Ty and Christina were there to capture our wedding. I never had to look around and say "Ty--get that!" They were already there. Didn't miss a thing. Our family and friends were also very impressed with their work and kindness. We are incredibly pleased with the quality of the photos, the turn around time to get the flash drive and the price sheet for prints, but most importantly the professionalism and good-heartedness of Ty and Christina. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose them in a heartbeat. read more

Ty and his wife photographed our Engagement session last fall of 2015. They were great to work with and made us feel very comfortable. He went above and beyond the call of duty and met my fiancé and I on location, in southern Ohio. It was quite a distance from Sidney, but he was more than willing to meet us, just to get the images we wanted. That is one thing that I will never forget! Ty took care of our wedding images this past June 2016. He was great; accommodating to any changes we needed last minute and was definitely a help in planning how we would get all the pictures in on the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, we ran into a hitch with rain, so Ty was very quick to come up with another plan for some indoor images. He did a great job and we are very happy. He took any suggestions on specific pictures we wanted. We were also quite pleased with both the turn-around time on the finished images, as well as the value of what we paid for the images. We didn't feel like we had to take out a loan, to be able to afford pictures that we will cherish for a very long time. I wasn't expecting an email from Ty for about 6-12 months about our images being finished, but he emailed me within a month after the wedding, to let me know they were completed!!!!! Ty and Christina are amazing photographers as well as people! Not only did my husband and I love our photos but both of our families were so impressed with their professionalism and talent! Several of our family members enjoyed the pictures that they took so much they had them printed to be hung in the house. They were so accommodating to all of our needs during our special day. And talk about generous with their time. They stayed and made sure we were satisfied with the quantity of photos they took. Also, Ty was very helpful in letting me know if a pose was not looking comfortable or natural so my husband and I could fix it. Christina was great with paying attention to every detail and always helped me fix my hair if I had random flyaways. The day of the wedding can always be super stressful, but my husband, and I were lucky to have these two there to support us through and capture our special day! read more

Ty photographed our wedding on March 5, 2016, and he did an amazing job! He was incredibly easy to work with, very organized, and has a great eye for the candid shots! He processed the pictures within 3 weeks of the wedding which was a really fast turnaround for over 600 pictures. Ty was with us all day, from mid-morning for hair and makeup until night to get some really fun dance pictures. He was incredibly respectful during the ceremony and was able to get the perfect shots without being noticed at all. I thought the pictures were really a representation of the wedding through the eyes of the bride and groom, which we loved! We highly recommend Ty! read more
