In essence, it did not include a single product for the couple - they paid for her to attend and photograph the wedding and touch up a few photos. I'm not saying time isn't worth money, but in this case Ms. Savage agreed that the package wasn't a good one and has since done away with it. That said, we still had to pay an additional $500 to get the DVD of images from her. Overall the customer focus is lacking and the images, while some in natural lighting turned out very well, there are a lot of the group photos that look more like an old school posed shot of a wedding party. The flash is off in many of the photos, too, which makes them look unbalanced. There are also lots of people who attended the wedding that aren't in a single a photo. It seems she didn't really work the room to get a variety of groups and couples together in shots that aren't candid. Initially Leslie was nice to interact with, but her lack of service and unwillingness to do right by a customer who was also a personal acquaintance leaves me giving her 2 stars. I hope that she continues to mature as a photographer in her style of shooting and customer service.

Ron's background in photojournalism came in hand as he snapped images that truly captured the emotion and mood of the day. However, Ron's is equally strong at posed photography. The guys hate getting their photos taken and he made them look like they were all models in a magazine. The ladies had to shoot inside an old hall when it started to rain, and he made that place look like a beautiful parlor. We also had a fidgety flower girl and ring bearer, but he snapped at just the right time to capture their excitement and energy even during the group shots. I can't decide if I liked the posed shots better or the candids, because they are all so perfect! Ron showed me the photos on his camera as he was taking them, which I loved! Ron brought with him his professional equipment and lighting, which was great considering we had some rain and our church was dark. He climbed up on a bench and a bridge rail at the park to give us beautiful photos in Eden Park. I was most impressed that Ron sent me a link of all the raw photos the day after our wedding. I have never heard of a photographer being able to do that so quickly! I also appreciated that Ron drove in a snow storm to meet me for the first time because I live out-of-town and wouldn't have another opportunity to see him. He is fully dedicated to his clients.
