TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE READ BEFOFE ATTENDING HIS CLINIC…read more Staff is oblivious and can't clearly or concisely answer questions. They charged me a $155 deductible even though my insurance is $0 copay for annual visits. Claimed they had to charge $155 to "establish new patient care". The visit to "establish" care is Dr. Muhammad Farooqi sitting in a chair across from you, asking you the same questions you just filled out on the 10 forms they give you, after he makes you wait 45 mins after your appointment to see him. Dr. Muhammad Farooqi does not care about his patients; I told him I needed 2 referrals and he told me he would only give me 1 per visit. Mind you, each visit is an additional $115 EVEN WITH INSURANCE. Never in my life have I had a physician put me in a position between choosing a referral for my mental health or a referral for my physical health. HE LIMITS YOUR HEALTHCARE ACCESSIBILITY FOR HIS OWN PROFITS. He was also very rude and hostile when answering my questions. He stated that since I am in my 20's, I am not his target demographic and he does not care about me or people of my age group since we only account for 10% of his patients, therefore 10% of his profits. In addition to his complete disregard for patient care, the clinic is also UNSANITARY. There were BUGS in the room I was placed in. When I brought it up to the nurse, she just laughed. I had to kill the bug myself and the dead bug stayed on the floor while all of the nurses walked over and around it. Dr. Muhammad Farooqi, if you are reading this, I hope that this life offers you redemption for the lack of empathy and care you have for others. And I hope anyone who reads this review thinks of you and your practice negatively, so they don't have to experience the defeat I felt after visiting your clinic and being in your "care".

I've been a patient at Internal Medicine Associates since September 2025, and overall, the medical…read morecare has been top-tier. The Pros: Dr. Bishop is phenomenal. Finding a doctor who actually takes the time to understand how a specific medication will mesh with your lifestyle and body is rare. She's incredibly thorough and has been very accessible via the patient portal whenever I had follow-up questions. The nursing staff also deserves a shout-out. They are wonderful and very understanding. During my last visit, one of the nurses gave me some great, practical tips for managing my allergies, even sharing what works for her own kids, which I really appreciated. The Cons: My initial experience was a total nightmare due to insurance hurdles. While that isn't the fault of the practice itself (third-party insurance is the absolute worst), it definitely made the start of my journey here rocky. More recently, they've implemented a new sign-in sheet process. Since this was a change from previous visits, I mistakenly thought it was only for new patients. When the front desk clerk asked me to sign in, she responded with a confused look and a bit of a rude tone. It was a minor friction point, but a little more patience for returning patients adjusting to the new workflow would go a long way!

And u have standard insurance. They don't answer their phone, it's hard to reach them, they don't get back to you in a timely fashion, they use over seas support who is often clueless, the parking is terrible, people are rude, it's unfortunate because the doctor is great but she's leaving.

If you want a doctor's office with rude & incompetent staff, this is the one for you. My husband &…read moreI were patients of Catheryne's for decades. We watched her children grow up from diapers to young adults. However, we finally gave up with her as our doctor due to the incompetence of her front office staff. They could never spell my last name. NEVER...not in all of the years that we went there. Then, there was the fact that they were extremely rude. And good luck with scheduling appointments! Whenever we called to schedule an appointment, they sounded as if they were half asleep. ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL. Plus, sleepy-time staff couldn't or wouldn't listen. In fact, they refused to listen at all. Each & every time it was the exact same scenario of the office staff being half asleep and/or unable to listen to the patient. Listening is a skill. If the front office staff cannot listen to the patient, they cannot do their job properly. I would try to use humor to jolt them back to reality with a comment about their needing another cup of coffee in order to wake up and they would simply hang up the phone in my face! After they hang up like teen-aged mean girls, I would have to call back...but, at least they sounded awake. But, you still had to force them to listen. ARE YOU LISTENING? I would ask. There were multiple phone calls to make one appointment. It was almost as if it were a test of wills to get them to do their job which entailed looking at a calendar & picking a time. That simple task was beyond their capabilities. I have made appts with hairdressers who could schedule appointments with more ease. How many aggies does it take to screw in a light bulb? 3! It takes four "ladies" of the front office staff to schedule an appt for Zavodny! FOUR! All four "ladies" of the front office staff have a bad attitude towards senior citizens. I am a senior citizen & I was afraid to go to this office alone. It became so bad that my husband began going with me so that the front office staff would be respectful. THEY WERE ALL RUDE WITH MAJOR ATTITUDE! ESPECIALLY BARBARA! Also, I waited two weeks just to get the doctor's medical assistant, Jennifer, to call me back with my test results. I called and left messages but, she was extremely lax in returning calls. Don't worry about your insurance being filed quickly. That is the #1 priority of the front office staff. They are quick to charge your insurance & get paid asap...but, they are slow to give you the medical information that you require in exchange for that payment. Their turn-around time was too long. RIDICULOUS! Maybe it was nap time again? The straw that broke the camel's back was when I was prescribed an anti-biotic by Zavodny's associate, Dr. Sun, without my test results coming back and without the results being read by a doctor. You don't give a prescription for anti-biotics without the test results first! INCOMPETENCE!!! Additionally, my husband called the front office staff to get information about a specialist that Zavodny had recommended. The front office staff told my husband, "I'M BUSY!" Can you believe it!!! Too busy to do their job!!! He tried to explain to the lazy "lady" on the phone that Dr. Zavodny wanted him to see this particular specialist. SHE DIDN'T CARE! She told my husband, "I'll call you back tomorrow." SHE NEVER CALLED HIM BACK!!!!!!! I know that the front office staff covers for each other and keeps much of their unprofessional behavior hidden. If you request to share customer feedback directly with Dr. Zavodny, the front office staff won't allow it. They have already "circled the wagons" to protect themselves. They care more about protecting their jobs than in doing the right thing for the patient. My husband left a message for Donna who is Dr. Z's new assistant. Barbara called my husband back!!! Apparently, Barbara had already deleted the message for Donna. When my husband asked to speak with Dr. Z or Donna, Barbara refused!!!! Barbara doesn't want Dr. Z to find out what's really going on behind her back. Are they liars on top of everything else? How do they explain to the doctors why the patients are leaving this practice? They must be keeping their rudeness & incompetence hidden away from the doctors' notice. Patients aren't allowed to give ANY FEEDBACK directly to the doctor. Dr. Zavodny must be unaware of her front office staff sabotaging her practice b/c the front office staff is running the show! They cover for each other's bad behavior. The front office staff is in control of all information with zero oversight. The doctors don't have a clear picture of their own business b/c I can't imagine that any doctor would approve of the manipulations by the front office staff. I AM ALSO VERY BUSY. I have worked very hard to find another clinic for my husband and myself to go to without all of the irresponsible actions of Dr. Z's front office staff. I suggest that you do the same.

She's very attentive, personable, double checks medication interactions before prescribing something new, and never rushes me through a visit.
