The only bit of trouble we had was with the service, majority of the waiters were very friendly and attentive, however some staff didn't seem to have basic hospitality training, I don't think I'm being picky or over critical when I say that I don't want someone reaching over me while I'm eating, I also don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where a waiter who is already carrying dirty dishes from another table puts those dishes down on the table to clean up our used coffee cups..

My meal was pretty much a big breakfast with bread, bacon, eggs, sausages, potato, mushrooms and tomatoes (you can't go wrong with that combination; a very satisfying breakfast). The staff in general are pretty nice and very helpful (except for this one guy who can get slightly rude especially when dealing with potential customers without a booking and looking for a table, probably the same person referred to by @Lachlan W). The set up is casual and comfortable, music is a tad loud, but overall it's a good place to catch up for a lazy weekend brunch with friends (or well that's what we did). And as noted by quite a few people already, this place is crazy busy (we waited for 30 minutes for a table) so booking in advance or allowing extra time is advisable.

It's order at the counter and as such I'd love to see menus at the table rather than walking up to the counter and then sitting down only to have to get up again. The food did take a hot minute or fifteen to come out, but it was clear that's because my breakfast sandwich was made to order. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $15.00 AUD got me a pretty good sized Brekky Bagel, and while it was pretty basic, this was still good value. Star.
