After hiking 15 miles on the highline and spur trails we decided to treat ourselves. This place was packed and we had a short wait. The food is excellent, we got a burger, shakes and huckleberry pie. The food was very good, but kinda pricey. But everything in the area was expensive. Definitely will be back. read more

We stopped here for lunch after hiking in Glacier. It was definitely a good choice. My husband and I both got the soup of the day, which was corn chowder. The soup was very good. I also got a side salad, which came with a homemade vinaigrette, which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Great place to eat in an area that needs one. My family and I spent 3 nights in the area while visiting Glacier NP and we went their once each day. Day one was dinner. Although their were some more expensive offerings like bison steak, we all went with smaller choices - quesadilla, nachos, chicken wings. All were tasty. Day 2 for lunch, I tried the Red Burger and it was excellent as was the quesadilla with pulled pork my son had. The decor is great - licence plates in the shape of the US and other counties, bumper stickers from around the world and a little peg game at each table that kept us busy. And come to find out they sell them ($6) so we bought one. Service was pleasant and efficient. And over the 3 days we enjoyed talking with one of the waiters about some of the hikes in the area. Pie and huckleberry shakes were delicious. Our third time there it was just for dessert. If in East Glacier area, this place is a must but there can be a line at dinner. read more

The Red Burger always hits the spot after a long day on the trail. Prices are a bit steep ($13 for a 1/3 burger with bacon, sauce, and fries) but are still comparable to other eateries on the east side of Glacier NP. Can be extremely busy and service can be a bit spotty at times. Great deserts and drinks, too! I recommend the margaritas or the twister. read more

Great restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Big crowds inside and out was a good sign when we drove up. Waited about 10min and sat down to a great dinner. Interior decor was definitely an experience. Stopped here for lunch with my wife while visiting the park. Friendly, helpful staff. I had the chili burger $14, and my wife had a cup of chili, $6. Her cup cost an additional $1 to add onions which amounted to less than a tablespoon of diced red onion. At that rate they're making $40/onion! Chili was decent if a little lacking on the heat side - this isn't spicy chili. The burger was a small, overcooked party that tasted of fast food chain quality on an oversized bun (to add volume?) with a small scoop of chili over the top. Unimpressive and overpriced at $14. I had a local beer from the bottle for $4.75 and together we got out with 1.5 meals and one beverage for $26.75 Avoid this spot if you can - for all the eccentric decor and interesting signage outside, this is overpriced and mediocre roadside cafe fare. read more

I ate at the Two Sisters Cafe and had a terrible experience there. The owner's husband (John) came to our table as we were finishing the meal and asked us how it was. I told him it was OK (fair, really, but I didn't want to hurt his feelings) but that I thought they should serve real butter instead of butter "spread" (tastes like margerine). Affer we paid the bill and were walking out, I heard him say, "She's the one who wanted butter. Bitch!). I walked back into the restaurant and confronted him about it saying that he shouldn't ask people what they thought unless he wanted to hear an honest answer. He called me "bitch" again. I walked out but wished I had made a bigger scene about it. A couple in the parking lot apologized for his behavior and said they would never eat in that cafe after hearing how he had spoken to me. I wrote his wife (the owner) a letter about the incident(she had been there when it happened but didn't even try to calm him down and have him apologize) because I had to get it off my chest in writing. I heard from a hotel manager in the area that John gets into it often with customers because most of the customers are transient (Glacier National Park visitors) and will not be coming back that way again so he thinks he can afford to antagonize them. I hope that after reading this you will not go to Three Sisters Cafe for a meal. Maybe if business gets worse, John and his wife will change their treatment of customers. read more

What a great find on the eastern side of Glacier Park. We saw the rainbow flag flying and had to stop in and check it out. Not to mention it came highly recommended by the owner of the campsite we were staying at. It's quite amusing to read some of the reviews on here about the grumpy man working there. I'm not sure what people are expecting when they pull up to a purple building in the middle of nowhere Montana with quirky decor inside and a yellow brick road leading to the toilets? I found it pretty funny that there was a grumpy, comic relief man working there with a staff of a hot little gay boy, maybe two, and a bunch of kids working through the summer. It was kind of like a sitcom. The lunch was good, but not great. People need to remember that getting stock deliveries out this far is sometimes a challenge and these proprietors are doing their best to provide dining in a remote area. In other words, quit being so damn picky and demanding and quit expecting for every dining experience to WOW you. Just appreciate things and places for what they are. The deserts on the other hand were Outstanding! Everything with huckleberries on it was delicious. We would definitely go back if ever we find ourselves in the area again. Lighten up people. The grump doesn't owe you anything and you have no idea what his life may be all about. read more

Interesting location and everybody was very friendly. However, the food was WAY over priced. A few pieces of fried chicken was $18. I got a pulled pork sandwich that I would say was "alright" but sogged up the bun to the point it could not be eaten by hand. I've not had this issue with most other pulled pork sandwiches I've had in the past. My sons cheeseburger was pale gray on the outside and red inside. It was not even close to being cooked. We brought this to the attention of the server who apologized and took it back to the kitchen. They later brought the SAME burger with my son's bite in it and the bun torn up (since the melted cheese was stuck to the bun). Not that I minded my son getting the same burger back, but it was pretty nasty they put eaten food on the same cooking surface they put other people's food. At least it was cooked through this time. Also, the fries on all of our plates were soggy and not cooked very well. I would not recommend this place to anybody. I only gave it two stars because everybody was so friendly. read more

If you like crowded, horrible service, expensive food, chicken served completely cold and pink in the middle this is your place. When we arrived we were yelled out to wait outside. When we were finally seated we waited about about an hour for our food. One of the people at our table was completely overlooked when ordering and when he asked to order food he was reprimanded for not ordering with everybody else. This place takes advantage of being awful because they have no competition. Keep driving, anywhere else is worth the extra gas. read more

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. The reviews on Yelp were great. It was an hour's drive and then a 15-min wait, not too bad since the place was packed. My husband had a steak, my brother and sister in law split the fried chicken dinner. I had the mushroom ragout over polenta. The service was just okay, but given how busy they were, that was forgiven. My ragout was tasty, but could have been tastier. It was too brothy and could have been seasoned more. It seems to me it was not cooked very long?? The polenta was absolutely delicious and saved the dish. My husband's steak was cooked perfectly and was tender and tasty. The garlic mashed potatoes lacked flavor and were too dry and chunky. His piece of corn on the cob, which was missing when his dish was first presented, was dimpled, dry and not sweet. Obviously corn is not in season. My opinion is that corn on the cob, especially in a restaurant, should be served only when very fresh. My brother's fried chicken was out of this world! Crispy and very tender and juicy meat. The only problem with that order was that there was no thigh. When we told our host about the missing thigh, as we got our check, he got rather snippy, but did take $2 off of the total bill. So, as you can see, the meal was not the fabulous dinner we were expecting. But it was a fun atmosphere and we were all together, so it wasn't all bad. HOWEVER, later in our hotel balcony, when we tucked into the two pieces of famous huckleberry pie (we "got hucked") that we ordered to go, we couldn't believe how awful it was. The berries were tasteless and chewy and the crust was pure mush. Awful. We each had one bite. There went $15 down the drain. The drive, the atmosphere: great, the cooking: get a more experienced chef! read more

Wait times were minimal, the staff was attentive (we had the same server both times), the service was fast and efficient, and the food was good and filling. The atmosphere inside is always great. Friendly service, good food We stopped at Two Sisters on the way back to our hotel in East Glacier. We had planned to pick up some food and liquor and make a dinner in our room, but were stymied by the complete and utter lack of liquor stores from St. Mary North to Babb. Just before turning West, we saw the sign advertising their Margaritas, and decided to stop for a drink. The staff was so friendly and engaging (we were drawn in by one of the sisters), that we decided to stay for dinner. I had a Bison burger, which was OK (the fries seemed to have been baked, and were a little cool), and Laura had a chicken dish, which turned out to be enormous. The make specialty pies, but we were so full by the end of dinner that we didn't try them. The margaritas were a bit on the sweet side for our taste, but after a long day of hiking, they tasted pretty good. The place was hopping, and had a fun, rustic decor going. We didn't sample the other two restaurants in the area, so we can't compare, but we had a very nice experience. read more

It has always amazed me how finicky people are about going out to eat. I myself found Two Sisters to be a very refreshing place with down to earth people running it. Not to mention the food that I had was very good. Been there 2 or 3 times now over the years and plan to stop there again next year.
