    Homestyle Meatloaf $28.99

Average food but friendly service! Meatloaf was decent sized with lots of gravy. The butter and sour cream came in little takeout containers even though I was dining in. The steak sandwich is more so steak on toast. Not sure if they make their own fries as they look like the frozen ones, but it tasted ok. Homey decor and this place is for you if you're not looking for anything fancy.

Hello fellow travelers. If you stop here do NOT get the sweet tea, i am from the "deep south" as the menu says and it was NOTHING LIKE TN. i didn't hate the meal but god was the sweet tea ATROCIOUS. INFACT THEY GAVE ME A SIPPY CUP TO DRINK IT! IT WAS HORRIBLE IT TASTED NOTHING LIKE THE JELLO THEY SERVE ME IN TN! i was expecting SWEET TEA. not LEMON WATER!!! anyways the burger was good, and the fries were great. i did not like the pie. it wasn't amazing wasn't horrible. would recommend if you don't know what REAL sweet tea tastes like.

This restaurant is inside Waterton Park. In a small town or a place with couple blocks of shops. But of course this is a resort area location so prices tend to be higher. I came here and got their Canadian Horseradish Burger. So I learned if it doesn't say its made from Alberta beef then its not made from Alberta beef. Yes the Canadian Horseradish Burger is made out of Trappers own Alberta Beef Patty. Wow it was very delicious. Tasty. The bun was fresh. I got it with sweet yam fries for an extra $4. I don't recommend substituting it. For $4 is not worth it plus the fries were a bit soggy. I substitute one of the side for extra slaw. I hate beans. Overall, it was a good meal. The décor is very Canadian (traditional or typical) looking. I like it. When I left I wanted to take a picture sitting in one of the two rocking chairs out front. But a grandpa and a grandma was sitting in it. Well they did look like the typical Canadian cliché. Darn have to go back for that picture (not right to ask them get off chair for me to take a picture). Well I don't mind since I do like this restaurant. According to the server, this is a family ran restaurant. Nice !

Good place for a small town. Has mountain appropriate decor and the friendliest staff. They had great tips on hiking and wildlife. Everyone ordered pizza, bison burgers, beef burgers, fish and chips, and bison chili. Everyone was pleased with their food but the favorites were the gravy with the fries and the fish and chips. Beautiful view, a little pricey-but everywhere else in this town is as well.

We've dinned here multiple times every time we go to Glacier National Park…read more Pros: - Great customer service - Their homemade bread and homemade ranch tastes amazing. Probably the best we've ever had - All the foods we've order tasted great (chicken, bison steak, ribeye, t-bone, crab meat) - All locally sourced foods - Nice Ambiance and love all the wood structures. Cons: - Not sure if I'd consider this a con, but everyone we've dinned here, something is always different (different salad toppings, different sautéed veggies). But I completely understand being it's in the middle of "no where." - Very pricey, but once again, they're not opened year round and it's all locally sourced. You would probably pay the same price in the city for high quality meat, but at least here you're helping a small community! - My only con- I prefer my steaks with no pink and well done (I know, I know). Cut into your steak as soon as you get if you're like me so you can see if they need to cook it more. You're steak will most likely be undercooked, but it's because they're THICK pieces of meat (which is a pro) We will be back the next time we're in Glacier ^_^ 2022- 2024

Our server Melissa was top notch, super friendly and helpful. Great service here…read more The steaks were cooked a little rarer than what I'm used to. But the flavor and tenderness was great. The bread was kind of bland, but fine with butter. It seemed denser than what I am used to. The baked potato on the side was amazing. The Calamari was prepared differently than what I'm used to, I wasn't as into it, but it tasted good. The fillet of tenderloin was by far the best of the 3 steaks. Much more tender and much better flavor. I highly recommend it. We got the Molten lava chocolate cake, and it was not as good. Seemed too doughy. Didn't really like it, also didn't like the cheesecake. Restrooms were stocked, but their soap was weak. The restrooms weren't very clean, and you had a lever to turn off and on the water to the urinal in the men's bathroom. Odd.

The wife and I really enjoyed our meal at the new keg in south Lethbridge…read more We both ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection. The sides were nice as well, warm bread to start was delicious. Left full and happy! Waiter was professional, the seating clean and comfortable. The only negative was the decor and ambiance, but that's a personal taste. I found it lacking on intimate atmosphere with plenty of flat, dark wood surfaces to keep it sterile. We also ate quite late which meant it was likely much quieter than normal...a bonus from the perspective of us middle aged people that don't necessarily enjoy crowded restaurants. All in all well worth the fairly hefty price tag for an excellent steak night out

We took our Birthday boy 18y here at his request. He has never had lobster so this was his chance…read more The waiter was great when he arrived. he was detailed, and was really trying to answer any questions before ordering. he was clear about the specials. Our meal arrived after waiting for some time (to be expected with 5 larger plates). This is where things fell apart. The first thing I noticed is a smell. It was a really bad smell. It smelled like a dirty wash rag, that had been sitting wet for some time, but a hint of ammonia from soap? I was trying to locate the smell, but i was one person away from my boy with the lobster. I was suspecting that as being the cause. However i did not want to trouble anyone, or disturb their dinner. I then tried my "prime rib sandwich". Now being a prime rib freak, this had no resemblance to prime rib. it tasted like a beef sandwich. I thought to myself "if this is prime rib, what a waste". This type of bun with beef is worth only half of what was charged. and that would be still high. I causally asked around at the table to see how others felt, and the next person beside me had the keg burger. she said it was super greasy and she was trying to eat it, but it was a challenge. the next person i asked, also had the same as me, the prime rib sandwich. he said, "its OK". but he would eat cardboard and probably say that. He never complains about food. OK on his scale, is the bottom, but he would still eat it. LOL.. My older boy. So, after all this sub par food, the Keg supplied this type of Ice cream cake. I did not catch what they called it, but the birthday boy loved it. he said "The lobster was not really any good, but I really liked that cake after!" After I left, I talked to the wife about it, and it occurred to me, that maybe the lobster was not what it was suppose be. I asked her if she tasted it and she said "no". she would know if it was what it should be, and i wish she would of checked. maybe, our boy had a bad lobster, but he will never know, as his first lobster has now determined that he will never try it again. Then, the bill. Holly cow..... Way, Way overpriced for sub par experience. I could have better tasting food at Wendy's. The restaurant was busy, I cannot understand why people would waste their money for this. I saw no value. I feel we wasted our money, and had a really poor birthday experience. There was enough variety with our orders to know, there probably is nothing good on the menu that this amount of money even justifies. I have had, way, way better experiences somewhere else, I would recommend moving on to another business that maybe has pride in the quality of the food. I wish we never had this experience ......

We made a reservation earlier in the day- but I'm not sure that's necessary during the week. We asked to be seated by a window, but honestly all views in the restaurant are terrific. Unfortunately the night we went it was only open until 9pm and the sunset isn't until around 10:30 which was a bummer because the other pictures posted on yelp of the sunset look amazing. We had a variety of things on the menu (we each have our own taste buds) and everyone loved what they got. I had the wild prawns picatta which was AMAZING. Great flavor and portion size. During our meal, the server came by to let us know that there was a moose in the lake outside! Overall, great food and ambience- which is something I didn't think I'd find in the middle of Montana. Highly recommended!
