She wanted to get me in and out her door as efficiently as possible. Dr. White says she is the only audiologist in Brevard County who does real ear measurements. Two Rivers hearing and Costco also do real ear measurements. She also says she is the only one who uses data from a hearing trial to evaluate how much time you spend in quiet vs noisy surroundings. This would be funny in a sitcom. If your hearing loss is not that complicated, you can consider buying hearing aids for less than 1/3rd the cost at Costco or Sams Club. Costco and Sams Club hearing aids are very good nowadays.

And she set up her practice in a way to help make this happen. How? She'll only recommend to you one hearing aid brand, Phonak. She won't even mention that there are other well known and quality brands out there. She gets away with this because Phonak is a good brand and very few people would ever resent that they were only given one option of hearing aids to choose from. One naively hopes that a health care provider would approach these things in a more caring way. Dr. White doesn't want to invest the kind of time and energy into her clients that would be required to go over the different hearing aids brands and what they are good for. Dr. White also says she is the only audiologist in Brevard County that does real ear measurements. Two Rivers Hearing also does real ear measurements. Dr. White has a lot of positive reviews because we are so used to being rushed in and out of doctor's offices that we think this is normal. This is an example of the pathetic side of our modern society. A real caring and competent audiologist would walk you through different hearing aid brands, what they offer, and help guide and empower their clients to choose the hearing aids that best suits their needs and preferences. Please be your own advocate. Do your own research. Don't trust any audiologist to do all the thinking for you. You are smarter than this and you deserve better, too. I cannot recommend Dr. White.

The audiologist gave me a super examination and created the molds with great care. When the finished Widex hearing aids arrived, he tested them again. I have had many experiences with hearing firms before moving to Florida and this was the best. When one aid was failing last week, I took it to Merritt Island and it was returned this week, working perfectly, still under warranty. By the way I believe that all these aids, no matter the seller, appear to have been created by Widex and will be the little pink tortellini you will receive.

PT Professional provides outstanding care with one-on-one attention. Prior to going to PT Professionals I had been going to a different physical therapy group on Merritt Island. PT Professionals is so superior to this other group. I have been treated by several of the therapist and all have been very professional and skilled. Normally Chardae is my therapist. She is very caring and knowledgeable therapist and I always feel much better after a session. She is extremely knowledgeable of the various physical therapy techniques. I most recently have been treated after surgery on my shoulder. PT treatment started the day after the surgery. She has me perform various exercises to strengthen the shoulder. She manipulates the shoulder to allow for more range of motion. My favorite acitivity is when she massages the shoulder. It feels so amazing. She knows just what to do to make the shoulder feel better. She is a very skilled and professional therapist. While having treatment I have watched while therapist provide other patients therapy. They customize the treatment around the patients problems and abilities. Over time I have seen these other patients continually improve. Over about 6 weeks we were able to take me from being so sore that I spent most of my time on a heating pad to having almost zero pain and a LOT more flexibility. What was different about PT Pros is that we kept mixing up the workouts. Other PTs I have been to can so repetitive that I drop out. Bottom line, I went in broken and came out a lot better, with the tools to keep improving. PT Pros rocks!
