After reading Lady Remington and Jack's reviews, my wife and I decided to patronize this place for a late breakfast. We waited a couple of minutes for someone to seat us; but it was all very busy, so we sat at the first booth. Within a minute a pleasant waitress asked us if we wanted drinks...yes please, coffee and orange juice. I was attracted to this place due to reviews and perusing their menu. The menu is ovolacto friendly. Instead of ordering a breakfast special that includes meat, dishes were offered without. If you want to add ham, bacon or some other carrion, you can add it for extra cost. I've been to places that if you ask for no meat, you pay for the meat anyways. I had an omelet, my wife had a bowl of some kind. Our food came in decent time. Wow, the portions were prodigious. Also came with two pretty good pancakes. We enjoyed our breakfasts a lot. We usually eat our breakfasts at home or at our three regular places. I think we might have just added number five. We had a nice experience here. Our waitress was on the mark and checked on us at regular intervals. Wore a nice smile the whole time. Bottom line, if you're looking for a well made breakfast, or anything else, it would behoove you check this traditional café out. Just bring your appetite because you're going to get full. When Becky, our very friendly, delightful waitress brought out our breakfast, I thought "I'll eat only two of the four pieces." As you've already guessed, the next thing I knew I was scrapping the last little bits of strawberries, French toast, and whipped cream from my plate. As other reviews have said, the place is very clean, lots of selections on the menu, quick service, and reasonable prices. My husband and are are heading home from a reunion in Shawano and I used Yelp to find somewhere to stop for breakfast. Two Rivers had some great reviews and it wasn't too far out of the way. The place was packed with a line at the door, but there was an older couple in line in front of us that started talking to us while we waited. They ended up inviting us to share their table so we didn't have to wait so we accepted. We met some very nice retired people with interesting stores of life and travel. We tried to pay for their breakfast but he was quicker than me and ended up grabbing our check and paying for our breakfast. The food was delicious and it was an all you can eat breakfast buffet. We were in town for a wedding and our sister who lives in Two Rivers took us to this neighborhood restaurant. What a find!!! First off, all of the good comfort food was available all day which was great for a late breakfast. I haven't had biscuits and gravy in decades and this place has a tasty version that isn't too salty with lots of sausage flavor. It included 5-6 smaller biscuits which really filled me up. Others enjoyed breakfast and lunch items with a special nod to the thick sliced bacon others were enjoying. It was so great we went back again on another day and everyone chose the biscuits and gravy with side dishes like eggs, bacon, and hot sauce. The servers were so friendly as everyone is in the area and the restaurant was very clean including the restrooms. The pricing was very reasonable and it really gave us a lot to talk about during our visit. Great job everyone there for making us feel at home so far from home. Wow! Talk about rude. Never before been to this place. Saturday 12:30 lunch time and we walk in and no idea what to do. Customer almost knocked us over to go to the out of the way register to pay. Absolutely no one spoke - no word of welcome. Then this guy moved from where he was standing and revealed a sign just to seat yourself. Walked into the dining room and only one huge table open there, so we began to walk into this other area and - BAM, a lady looks at us and slammed the light switch off (again without a word). Now it is 12:30 lunch time. Maybe there wasn't enough staff to cover more area, but a word to let us know would have been better than to just turn the light off on us! Against our better judgement, we sat at the huge table and waited. No one ever came and so we finally left. No one ever spoke to us and we could not have felt more uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was hungry for pork chops today and it just so happened that pork chops was today's special. $8.99 for three large pork chops, with soup or salad, and choice of potato and a vegetable. I opted for mashed potatoes and gravy and the vegetable was corn. Also included was a roll and I had to ask for a second of one those so I could finish sopping up all that wonderful pork juice from the chops. These really hit the spot today.
