Two very nice girls came to my home to do post construction cleaning. We went over everything and I thought it was clear what post construction Cleaning meant. I also went over everything with the woman who came to my home to give me the initial bid. Therefore, from my perspective, I was under the impression it was very clear what all needed to be done. These girls were done almost immediately. I tried giving them a few more things to do because I was completely surprised and every time I did, 10 minutes later they'd tell me they were done. Knowing all the cleaning that had to be done I thought they would be here a full day and then some. They left after 4 1/2 hours. The next day I tried to put things away and discovered that none of my cabinets had actually been cleaned out. I was trying to avoid having to go up and down a ladder all day long to clean all this myself but that's exactly what I'm doing today after I already paid them to clean my kitchen. I don't believe in having to micromanage people when I hire them. I guess I'm finding that in today's world you have to micromanage everyone. Extremely disappointing. I even gave them a 20% tip. If you use this company, I suggest you be prepared to micromanage the people that come to your home. I don't think these people are trained at all, which is too bad because when you are paying $100 an hour, I expect people to have some kind of knowledge of what it means to clean a space.I could've had my 10 year-old niece do a better job. read more

I'm leaving two stars which I almost never do. There's a reason so hear me out. - I've used these guys 3 times. The first two were fine. It was 3 people two woman and 1 man. Same crew each time.. They did a good job but I'm not being fussy. I want to make sure they show up on time, don't break anything and are nice. Really job 1-2 for me are sniff tests. Okay lets talk about job 3. Since I'd used them twice I thought cool. I was paying $200 a clean for a 1 floor 2k SF residence. Well, I was wrong. Today they were an hour early which totally jacked my day up, I was away had to come screaming home and spend 15 min to tidy and get ready for them. Next - the two who showed up were totally different people who'd never been here before. Brand new house to them. No idea where things went etc. I went to my office to work and after about 90 min cam out for a walk through here is what I found: 1. Mail was all over. There we no consideration to put mail into one pile 2. Walk-in closet had underware on the floor and the hamper was full - I understand if you don't do laundry (though I wont refuse to work with anyone who won't) still you should not leave clothes on the floor 3. Bed room had 2 coffee cups and 3 empty soda cans - a couple on the the floor and a couple on the windowsill 4. There were 4 piles of mail all over the house. Shouldn't we just put mail all one place? 5. 1 garbage can wasn't empty 6. Dishwasher was not empty nor were pans put away. I am glad they didn't clean cast iron with soap BUT hot water, salt is ok Generally for $200 bucks it sucked. The main thing was they were 1 hour early.. That so screwed me up and when I spoken to the the admin she wouldn't offer any discount. - So AMEX will sorry 2 maids. To start off, my grandma is handicapped, she uses a walker so she has issues with picking stuff up or cleaning due to a hip disability. The ladies did a terrible job cleaning and were 3 hours late because they forgot about their appointment. At 11 was the appointment, at 11:30, my grandmother calls and wants to know where they are, the woman on the phone cops an attitude with her and claims that she forgot the appointment. They arrived 3 hours late and cleaned around the furniture and not properly cleaning her place since she cant bend down. First of all I love the name of the company and they got back to me within a few minutes of leaving a message even though it was Father's Day! I needed a deep clean pronto for my Mom's Birthday present and her house needed desperate help before the relatives were coming to visit for my mom's 84th birthday. I was told to go on line and if you watch the Video you get $10 off, I love a Discount. Noah the owner called me to see if I had any questions and he answered everything. This company is paid on performance meaning if the employees do a great job they get a nice commission and plus if they do an outstanding job and personable you can't help but give them a tip!! I got a deep clean for my mother's house, they were here for eight hours, four hours times two and just diehards and personable and willing to get the job done and accommodating and cheerful these ladies rock and I love them Gabby and Isabella are the best and I'm hoping to hire them again in the future to come and clean my moms house again. Had the service for nearly a year. It was very hit or miss. The teams rotate often and skill varied! Not by training time, as their regular employee was by far the worst. She skipped full rooms of the house, and would neglect areas I specifically pointed out like window seals. We were constantly having to stay in the house and watching the staff to make sure they dusted thoroughly. If I stepped outside, I would find entire rooms not vacuumed nor dusted but the pillows or stuffed animal rearranged. Then the next crew would be amazing and I would be in love again with the service. It was very up and down-month to month. The scheduling process has some huge glitches. First, if you have a scheduled time, but another client canceled-you get moved up without opportunity to cancel without a fee. They send one day reminder of your next scheduled clean, but penalize you if you cancel less than 2 days out. It's set up as to force your hand on not rescheduling. I work a business from my home, so this became a constant battle of my own clients or their service being first. I felt like I was jumping through hoops of a scheduling nightmare having to rearrange meetings, childcare and cleaning all to fit their demands And expectations. I wish they could be more service oriented or have more compassion. It was a hard year with a little help in the cleaning area. I was very ill after my pregnancy, trying to keep my business afloat and needed a reliable service provided. In the end, they canceled my service. They could have adjusted their notice of next service by simply letting you know it at the last cleaning, but instead made it my issue and a lot of drama that I wasn't complying. I just needed help and was trying employ them. I would have been an average pleased and paying client for years had they been more faithful to their clients. I gave regular feedback on the teams, trying to stay in communication with the office and was generous even when the job was sub par- always tipping and paying well over $250 each time, because I valued loyalty over a one time experience. I rearranged my schedule for them and more. They value convenience and sole say over your appointment time. read more

We paid almost $500 for a deep cleaning, I expected my house to sparkle for that price and was promised a lot. I will not use them again. My house was severely dusty, but organized, not messy and I had vacuumed all wood floor the night before...I just expected things to look differently. The women did not pay attention to detail and forgot some important things, like blinds, window ceils, some floor areas, furniture 1 of the double ovens, etc. I'm adding photos of what they missed. Keeps getting worse. This morning I wake to find the bathtub not cleaned or the shower, still had soap and hard water spots. I ended up using some cleanser and tilex and now both shine. Also don't let them use their own trash bags...the one they put in my kitchen burst open when I went to take out trash and I had to sweep and mop floor again. I am so angry. read more

Communication was excellent. Setting up the appointment was easy, as was a follow up call to give directions to my house. Martina and Kathi were professional, friendly and left my home looking, smelling and feeling clean. They skipped the things I asked them to skip like time-consuming, knick-knacky shelves and didn't miss anything in my areas of concern that had me feeling behind and were a distraction to my healing as I recover from surgery. They caught little details I hadn't specifically mentioned like dust on at least one door. It was just one example of something I was behind on and was a sore thumb to me before the cleaning, but now resolved. Because of Kathi's and Martina's good eyes, efficient use of time and their care, I can still walk around my house feeling caught up. Without the pressure of feeling like there are chores to be done, I am on my third day of the kind of rest my body needs and no longer pushing the limits of activity. We paid $165 for two people to come out for two hours. They came out with two days notice, so I was happy I could be fit in. They showed up on time, and left at the expected time. The level of cleaning was far from what I would expect at $40 per person per hour. More on par for what you would expect your teenage neighbor, with limited experience cleaning, to do for $15 per hour. We just moved in, the master bedroom and bath was completely empty except for a bed. We explained that our biggest concern was dust (we had refinished the floor, had the house painted. They cleaned up most of the dust, but some was remaining). The first shelve I saw, I ran my finger, and it was full of dust. Other shelves were not like that, the cleaners got most of the dust, but there were definitely areas that were missed. Another room was similar. Our other expressed focus was windows and window seals. They did a good job with some windows. However, it looked like other windows were barely touched. It looks like a quick wipe was done, and the screen, which takes seconds to remove, to get behind it, was not done for some windows. I suspect that one person was okay, and the other person not so good (but I was not actually watching them, so I cannot verify this, but pattern looks like this). I would not recommend. read more

Please be advised -- the services offered by this company are pretty limited. I was looking for a full service maid (I grew up with this, so please don't tell me it doesn't exist) and they are not that. The quality of the cleaning was questionable and quite surface. While the staff no doubt have the best of intentions, I really felt like the way the conversation about whether or not Two Maids or A Mop was a good fit for me was grossly mishandled and frankly unprofessional. Instead of phrasing the issue as a personal failing on my part for being unable to keep my place clean (I am a busy graduate student with a a disability), it would have been easier had they just given me a list of recommendations for companies better suited to fit my needs and all of the drama would have been avoided. They are obviously good people but they have some improvements to make. read more

We just had our first cleaning and are delighted. Firstly, Noah was very accommodating in scheduling when an unexpected doctor appointment interfered with the original time. The Thing 1/Thing2 team arrived right on time, masked and gloved for safety, and immediately set to work making our home sparkle. Kaylee and Kayleigh (!) were quiet and efficient and tolerated our dog barking at them every time they entered the room without complaint.
