Best bakery in town, cool owner that knows how to bake, staffs are always nice and friendly, life's short you must try it

Wow! If you're ever in the Beaumont/cherry valley area, do yourself a favor and stop by Two Ladds Bakery! It is a small local bakery with amazing baked goods, panini sandwiches, cakes, coffee, milkshakes, etc. The store itself is quaint and very clean and cozy inside. You can tell the baked goods are freshly made each morning and baked with love and care. We got a blueberry and raspberry muffin, a maple pecan scone, a strawberry cream danish, a tiramisu, and a chicken habanero panini. Let me tell you, every. single. item was on point! I love that the baked goods weren't too sweet, they were moist and perfectly balanced. The panini was fresh off the grill and crispy on the outside and super savory with gooey cheese on the inside. I loved the addition of the jalapeños as well as banana peppers to give it that nice kick to round off the sandwich perfectly. My sister and I agreed that this was one of the best tiramisu slices that we have ever tried. Light, airy, perfectly sweet - so well made! This will be my go-to bakery whenever I'm in the area! Ended up here bc I ran out of gas along my travels This spot was right across from the shell and the kids were hungry, the sign looked homey so off we went. There was a sign saying 'do all things for the glory of God, but I don't think the woman working got the memo. She seemed annoyed that we were there making her work. The kids were excited to try the milkshake and I had my eye on the ham and cheese crepe but she said they weren't serving savory crepes and they don't make milkshakes anymore. The carrot cake was ok and the macarons were store bought but sold for $2 each. The saving grace were the paninis which were delicious! read more

A gem in the neighborhood. They are a bit farther than other stores and pretty in an isolated area but when you have tried their pastries, its worth to drive an extra mile. They have from crepes to muffins, coffee to smoothies. It kinda like bringing me back to my LA town Larchmont place where I hang out and enjoy that time of day. Andi was fantastic. Made recommendations on bakery items and offered a new flavor of iced tea to my husband that he LOVED. Finally got to try this place. We got a plain croissant, turkey/cheese panini and pastrami panini. The croissant was so nice and fresh. The paninis had great flavor. Definitely going back to try more stuff. read more

Mel's pastries all taste wonderful. She uses quality ingredients and you can tell how much she loves to bake by how delicious everything is. I really enjoyed the cinnamon roll croissant thing and the oatmeal cookies. read more

2nd visit Bought ham panni, POTATO SALAD! choc malt ice cream . Great panni delicious sauce and bread. The ice cream was delicious because it is thrifty's award winning ice cream). Now for the POTATO SALAD! This is hands down the best potato salad I have had in a restaurant in CA. Can't wait for more muffins and trying a scone. Super nice employees and owner. They obviously care about their customers. Both times they helped me to my car with out asking. 1st visit LOVED- the taste of the raspberry orange muffin and moistness of the cake. After reading the reviews we were excited to try this bakery but with it came high expectations. We came by today before noon and we were NOT disappointed!! We got a ham and cheese panini that was sooo goood, you won't want to share! Also ordered the spinach and feta crepe that was so fresh and savory. You won't want to share that either! Took the chocolate hazelnut croissant and apricot pastry to go and those were both equally delicious. The owner/chef is very kind and wants to make sure all her patrons have a wonderful experience.
