I had the…read moreworst, saddest crispy tacos of my entire life, and some little tube they called a crispy burrito which doesn't even slightly resemble a burrito. Think a small taquito of mourning. Service was fine, but the food is very overpriced flavorless trash. It's Mexican food in the same way that Olive Garden is Italian, i.e. not even within a hundred country miles. If you are somehow excited about overpriced food that is shaped like a tube or clamshell, but chronically afraid of it tasting like anything, this is an even better bet than Taco Hell, but if you respect your mouth or stomach, stay the heck away.

I write this review because of what happened next. The fact that face to face interactions have gone to screen to screen, the man before me yelling and working while there's a global pandemic I was expecting a to have the same experience as the angry guy. I pull up and it was a wait but nothing that would get me to leave my car and yell at a young woman, who I'm sure isn't getting paid enough to work at during this COVID19 pandemic. She provided outstanding customer service, and the reason why I stopped going was because of a bad experience years ago. I had to get the name of the woman working and asked " how do you deal with customers like that?" She replied " being kind to one another is what will get us through this." I was blown away. I grab my food and asked her name she smiled and said "Maritza!"(hope I spelled it right). I didn't know I would get food for my hunger and food for though. Maritza thank you. We ordered 2 burgers and a milkshake for takeout. They said the order would take roughly 15-20 minutes which it did. The burger was great. I love the freshness of the veggies and the pickle just does its job of adding that acidity. The banana milkshake was super. They made it using fresh bananas and it was a thick shake which I love. The bathroom is not my favorite. It does its purpose but there is a very strong urine smell and is quite small.

This place is either a hit or a miss for me. I recently discovered their salads, and the first time…read moreI ordered one, I wanted to jump on Yelp and tell the world that Boomer's has an amazing salad. Unfortunately, every chicken taco salad I've ordered since then has been a disappointment. I love that you can customize exactly what you want to add--or leave off--your salad. At around $8, it's a great value. You get a ton of food, and it doesn't hurt that you can add extra romaine lettuce, tomatoes, and other toppings at no additional cost. However, I've come to realize that it all depends on who's preparing it. Bring back the person who made my first salad, because the last three have been so bad that I started to question whether I actually had a great taco salad at Boomer's in the first place. One salad was mostly romaine lettuce with very little of the other ingredients, even though I had requested extra of everything. They also forgot the tortilla strips and the salsa. Come on--it's not a taco salad without salsa! The other two salads I ordered barely had any chicken in them. If I didn't know better, I would have thought I had ordered a salad without chicken. Boomer's, do better and pay attention to the details. Consistency matters. This could have easily been a 4-star review if you had been consistent with the four taco salads I've ordered. The other photos in this review are from years ago when I thought burgers were the only thing worth ordering at Boomer's. Who knew they offered salads too?! Based on that first salad, I'm going to give you another chance, Boomer's. Here's hoping you can make my next salad as memorable as the first so I can give that 4 stars!!

Randy ordered the ranch fried chicken sandwich and he said it was ok. He didn't really like the garlic fries he ordered with it. Corina ordered the Fiamma cheeseburger and said it was ok. She also didn't enjoy the garlic fries and neither of us liked the ranch. I ordered the mini burger and asked for Swiss instead of American cheese but that's not what I received. We're in kind of a hurry so when he offered to have it redone correctly, I declined. The burger was ok but definitely would have been better without American cheese. It's a mouth feel thing for me - I don't like it. I also ordered onion rings. They were good. There is a long communal type table in the middle of the place with some 2 and 4 seater tables around that. We won't come back because we've had much better and not paid $70 for it. Just not worth the price.
