Someone's lying here. They changed hands. I ordered a roast beef online today. They didn't get my order due to computer issues, they had no made in house roast beef, I asked for a Ruben, they didn't have that either. I got a refund from the annoyed owner that said they had it for 8 months. It didn't smell like a sub shop. Not sure what they serve there now. read more

Just ordered a chicken Philly for lunch. The sandwich I received is disappointing to say the least. There are barely any peppers/onions/mushrooms and the chicken looks like bits and pieces scraped off the flat top. Even the bun is "dirty". I threw the whole thing away after 2 bites. Waste of money. The good reviews must be from friends. I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Won't be ordering from here again. I've attempted to contact them to request a refund. No one returned my call. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome here! Their food is AMAZING! Especially the gumbo. We got the special which was a Columbia Classic with chicken, sausage, rice, veggies, and Cuban garlic bread. After looking at reviews (older ones ‍) we decided to try this place out, but they only have subs available; no salads or soups unfortunately. It wasn't until after I saw that the most recent review mentioned they are transitioning to Mexican food. Unfortunately they are not advertising that so we already got the food when we found out. It's just sad that the management changed before we got to try what used to be Two Fat Guys. I stop by there for lunch and take out mostly I get lunch but if their specials look good, I might take something home for dinner. Sure wish they would do their turkey dinner again and because my parents are elderly and I bring them food if I get their email early enough in the week tells me what their specials are attend to bring my parents a couple meals during the week to. Pros: the food seems to be pretty fresh. I'm thinking that's what leads to the higher Yelp rating. Cons: the place is a rat hole. There is no real good place to dine in, so you're forced to take it to go. It's located in an industrial area and obviously cater to the work lunch crowd around town. The place looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. It's just makes you feel like the food you're about to eat will be gross. However, my chicken Caesar salad was pretty alright (see pic). Deli As an expatriate from the formerly great State of NY, I was overjoyed to be driving along and seeing the sign for Two Fat Guys (from Brooklyn) in a small strip-mall. I wheeled the car around and headed in. The store can be called a deli in the NY sense: they have ready to eat foods, make sandwiches, and sell a limited selection of dry / Italian goods. From the minute I walked in, I got a good vibe. They happily greeted me and since I happened to be wearing a NY Yankees shirt, we had a quick chat about that. The sandwich boards are up on the walls and the sandwiches are all named after a variety of New Yawk things such as locations, sports teams and of course, they even have an appropriately named Fat Guy sandwich. All the cold cuts appear to be Boar's Head brand. Ooooh-fa Sandwiches are big and made to order. The deli cases have a variety of stuff that you can heat and eat, or they will heat it for you. Peppers stuffed with cheese, a bunch of different olives, fresh mozzarella, soppressata, sausages and salads are all available to help make you a fat guy (or gal) too. Prices are average. Was in the area for a business meeting and needed a place for a quick lunch. So I turn to Yelp and find this place. Once I arrive surprised that it was lunch time and looked like no one was here. We go inside and order my colleague got the special which on this Monday was a meatball sandwich fountain drink and a side of pasta. I got a two fat guys Italian sub sandwich. We took our orders to eat in. Luckily they had a small table with chairs for us to eat here. My sandwich was so big I couldn't even eat half so I packed it up for later. Later ended up being lunch the next day. Would definitely come here again if in the area. The sub was not only inexpensive but delicious. I wanted a really good Philly this week & I did some research & came across this place. The chicken Philly was definitely the best I've had in south Florida. They didn't load it up with lettuce & tomatoes like it's a sandwich lol they got straight to the point & it was delicious. Chicken was seasoned , bread was soft & fresh. Came from out of town hoping to find a hole in the wall "gem" i've seen about in the reviews. Got an italian sub of which they claim "comes how you want it" and a plain tuna sub. everything was bland as hell with a lot of mayonnaise slabbed on extra. I went there on their opening day, so of course the line was all the way outside. However when I got my sandwich and salad...it made it all worth it. The chicken cutlet sub I ordered was delicious and very well made. The tortellini that I got on the side was also very good. The price of both is within normal costs of a sub and a side. Ordered a breakfast sub at 9:40. They use grub hub to delivery your food. We did not include a suit number. Grub hub drivers returned the food. Both parties had our phone number to call, neither did. We have order from two fat guys before, no problems with the delivery. Spoke with a representative from two fat guys, he simply pointed the blame to grub hub with no provided solution. Never got the breakfast sub. I had to call to find out what happened. My office will not be ordering from two fat guys again. read more

We tried this place out based on 4 star rating. This rating is a complete lie! The subs were Fyre Festival quality. Badly put together with low quality ingredients and wilted veggies. I ordered the fat guy and I think I'll be eating this all day. They gave me some gumbo to sample with my sub. The flavor was bold with just the right amount of spice. I didn't want to ruin the gumbo by adding crackers to it. The bread was fresh and flavorful. The meat was good, not great. But this is an easy 4 star. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to. I had a great experience dining here for lunch today for the first time. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I had a sandwich called El Gordo which was their take on a Cuban sandwich with bacon. It was delicious. My family also had the bacon egg and cheese sandwich and the Erin sandwich.
