    Wine Wednesday Flight
    Amber R.

We've been grabbing takeout from Two Doughs for years and have always enjoyed the thin crust sourdough pizzas and fried Brussels Sprouts. This past week my husband and I were looking for a mid-week date night spot and remembered Two Doughs does "Wine Wednesday," so thought we'd check it out. We came in around 6 pm and the place was packed! The vibe upscale casual - a perfect spot for a date, catch up with friends or a quick drop in. We were lucky to grab a spot at the small bar. We were immediately greeted and decided to try the $20 flight and were so happy we did. Every wine in the tasting was thoughtfully curated with a full explanation of where it came from and why it was picked between each pour. The experience was decadent, yet approachable - 10/10. We also ordered a few pizza slices, the Caesar salad (so fresh and flavorful!) and the meatballs. Everything was fantastic.

This pizza spot really stands out by offering both sourdough crust and Detroit-style deep dish, and they do both exceptionally well. The sourdough crust is light, airy, and perfectly tangy, with a crisp exterior that holds toppings without getting soggy. It feels thoughtfully made, not rushed. The Detroit-style deep dish is the real comfort-food star--thick, fluffy, and buttery with those irresistible crispy edges. The sauce is rich and flavorful, layered on top in classic Detroit fashion, and every bite is satisfying without being overwhelming. Ingredients taste fresh, portions are generous, and the menu has something for everyone whether you want a lighter slice or a hearty, indulgent pie. It's rare to find a place that executes two very different pizza styles this well, but this spot absolutely nails it. Definitely worth a visit--and a repeat order. I had to try both types of Pizza and it didn't disappoint. Service was great. And people were really friendly. Definitely coming back.

Really good, very fresh and great ambiance too. Staff is very cool and friendly. It's rare that we try a new place and say we'll be back. We'll definitely be back.

Hands down the best pizza I've had in LA. Everything was absolutely delicious, and it instantly became a new favorite. The pizza was perfectly made, but the real standout was the lamb meatballs--so flavorful and memorable, they completely stole the show. I loved every bite and genuinely can't wait to come back. This place is a must.

Has something changed there. My last visit just wasn't the same. New owners? New management? I don't know but something is different. My first clue (and I think everyone else knew) was an empty restaurant, We've always in my10 or so visits, felt lucky to be seated inside without a wait. That's how picked it was. Not writing it off because I like supporting small businesses. I will give it another go,

Two Doughs is the kind of place that tricks you. You walk in like, "Cute little pizza spot." Next thing you know you're negotiating with a Chicken Parm sandwich the size of a throw pillow like it's trying to move into your apartment. We got the Sweet & Spicy pizza, and whoever created that combo clearly enjoys watching people make involuntary happy noises in public. It's got that perfect balance where you're like "This is sweet... wait... why is it hot... oh wow I'm addicted." The crust is legit too. Not that sad, floppy, "hold it with two hands and pray" situation. This one has structure. It stands on business. Now the Chicken Parm sandwich... listen. This is not a sandwich. This is an event. This is a full commitment. If you order it, clear your schedule. It's massive, crispy, saucy, and basically dares you to finish it. I took one bite and immediately understood why people start unbuttoning their jeans in the parking lot. Service was solid, food came out hot, and everything tasted like someone in the kitchen actually cares... which is rare these days, because most places act like seasoning is a felony. Only real downside is the price. Everything tastes quality, but you're definitely paying "treat yourself" pricing, not "I'm here twice a week" pricing. Still, if you want a solid pizza, a monster sandwich, and you don't mind spending a little extra for it, Two Doughs is worth a visit. Just don't look at the receipt until you've finished eating.

I've reviewed this place several times so there's not much more new I can say other than trying out new things Ordered two pizzas tonight both were delightful. One was the three pigs and the other was the sweet and spicy both deep pan pizza. Yum! The pizza is about eight slices each really worth the money you spend. We also ordered a chopped salad that was delightful too. This place is consistently good and highly recommended. Thank you

I've tried many award winning and highly rated pizzas in LA and I liked the pies here the most. The bread is amazing and the sauce makes this a top notch pizza. The lamb pizza might be the best pizza I ever had.

We had the most amazing experience at Two Doughs in Agoura! We ordered the chopped salad, margarita pizza, and pasta with creamy vodka tomato sauce , everything was absolutely delicious. So fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also had a strawberry basil agave cocktail that was so refreshing and beautifully made. What really impressed me is that I brought a friend who is extremely picky (and I mean VERY picky ), and even she kept saying, "Wow, everything here is amazing." That says a lot! The customer service was outstanding , attentive, warm, and professional. Plus, the parking situation is easy and convenient, which I always appreciate. If I could give more than five stars, I would. Highly recommend!

This story is... 49% made up 51% true 1/2 Pineapple, 1/2 Pepperoni, And full of, "OMG this is sooo good" with... EVERY. SINGLE. BITE. But before we get into it, let's breakdown one of Americas Favorite Foods: PIZZA!!!! Some say Pizza is unhealthy.... Well I say, if you have people like that in your life... Unfriend them. Unfollow them. And tell that Doctor of yours to go to hell! O.k., o.k., don't do that. =) But don't believe everything that they tell you just because they say that your cholesterol is "high" and that you need to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into your diet. So after telling my Doctor to go to... Oh never mind ;) I decided, hey maybe he's right, maybe I do need to add more fruits and veggies into my life. And this... Is where Two Doughs Pizza comes into play! But first, let's go back to my youth. To my fellow 80's kids out there... Who remembers learning about the infamous food pyramid in school back in the 90's? You know the one that recommended 6-11 servings of bread, rice, or pasta, 3-5 servings of Vegetables, 2-4 servings of Fruits, 2-3 servings of Dairy, 2-3 servings of Protein and a sparingly amount of fats, oils, sweets... Yeah, I know you know exactly what I'm referring to. Well just like I paid attention when I was in school, I do pay close attention to my wife. And after being married for almost 11 years now, I'm pretty well tuned into how "Girl Math" works. And if my math is correct, 6-11 servings of "bread" equates to a minimum of at least 6 slices of pizza right? Makes perfect sense to me. As for my Doctors orders... More Fruits & Veggies... Yes Sir, You got it!! Tomatoes which make up the tomato sauce. I'm still not sure if the damn things are considered Fruits or Veggies, haha. Add some Pineapple, throw on some mushrooms, artichoke hearts, onions, green peppers... Then cover your pie with lots and lots of mozzarella cheese (they did say 2-3 servings of Dairy) and finally, top it off with some cured Pepperoni for your Protein. And just to ensure we got in our 3-5 recommended servings of veggies... We ordered Two Doughs Amazing Chopped Salad which was loaded with fresh seasonal greens, tomatoes, garbanzo beans, pickled red onions, pepperoncini's, Kalamata olives, carrots , shaved salami, & provolone topped with a Champagne Honey Vinaigrette.... Let's just say, the salad is a Winner! And just like that, we were eating Healthy and getting in our recommended servings according to the Food pyramid's recommendations. But, But Lance.... You only had pineapple. The minimum serving size for fruits is two servings, not just one. Ahh good point! But don't you worry... We did order a side of grapes. Fermented grapes. Squished, Fermented grapes served in a beautiful glass bottle... Ok, you caught me. It was Wine, we ordered a bottle of wine =) Speaking of ordering... Orders are placed at the counter and then they bring you everything once it's ready. The afternoon we went, all tables inside were taken so we found a nice table outside with shade. Everything was so delicious, we almost ordered another pizza as our kids went to town on the first one, but we opted to be good. The Pizza is definitely made with love and doesn't taste anything like those "corporate chain" pizzas... And now that we've had it, we totally understand the local hype around this place and we now know, we will for sure be coming back. My only question now is, I wonder if they sell gift cards. I kind of owe my Doctor an apology ;) So... Who's down for 6-11 slices, errr I mean servings of pizza?

I've wanted to eat at Two Doughs Pizza for quite a while and finally did. Boy, am I glad. Had the Uncle Morty sandwich, which was served with an innovative assortment of pickles. An excellent sandwich. Delicious! Will definitely return for pizza. Service was quick and kind. The dining room is small yet very cute and comfy.

this spot was so unassuming but absolutely delightful! definitely a local joint. only a handful of tables, 5 bar seats but some outdoor seating as well. they were absolutely slammed with to-go orders but still had service with a smile. they have some seasonal offerings and i was so happy they had a gluten free pizza! the house ranch was also delicious. staff was chatty when they weren't helping guests, i felt so comfortable & welcome! truly part of the family!

It was quiet for a Saturday lunch service, at 12:30pm (just a few tables), which set the tone a bit. The space feels more diner than Italian, and with the open kitchen, you see everything...whether you want to or not. It's one of those setups that could benefit from the BOH team stepping out and seeing what guests actually experience. Food-wise, it was hit or miss: The mushroom risotto was a miss. It felt rushed. The risotto was undercooked, noticeably firm, even slightly crunchy, and the sauce had separated instead of being creamy and well incorporated the way risotto is meant to be. The flavor was fine (very marsala-forward), and they didn't skimp on the mushrooms, but the execution just wasn't there. The carbonara was better, my husband enjoyed it... but it's not a traditional version, so just know that going in. The penne with pink sauce got a "meh" from my son. Everything came out steaming hot, and portions were generous. Service was solid. That said, the value didn't quite line up, our total was nearly $100 with tip for three simple pasta dishes (two of which were vegetarian) and two sodas. Overall, it felt like a place that hasn't evolved much. Maybe it was an off day, but for the price, you expect more consistency, especially on something technique driven like risotto.
