Finally a friend of mine yesterday asked if I wanted to check it out. I actually told her I would rather go there than the other place a couple of businesses down because it seemed cool. However, I walked in and it looked old and out dated. There's tvs on the wall and a pool table so they got that going for them but everything else looks like it hasn't changed since the 80s (which can be cool sometimes if they do it right). But I should have known this was off from that because I asked for a Pabst blue ribbon and they apparently didn't have any. So I was offered a Busch or miller lite. Second red flag. Finally I got to talking to people and enjoying myself but my friend had walked off to do her own thing. So I didn't even know where she was. I was alone playing pool with a new buddy I had met earlier that evening lol. After we finished playing the game I have three staff members walk up to me and ask if I was with the person (who was now outside on her own) and they told me that they saw her drinking her own liquor. Now I don't know if that's totally true because I hadn't been around her at all but they were making it sound as if they were trying to kick me out because of this... I had nothing to do with it!!! However I respectfully said that we would leave the establishment and we did. I have my own opinions about this area but it doesn't help when you have rude businesses and their employees setting up shop here and harassing their customers. I don't plan on coming back here again... I do want to sum this up though so you know why I don't like this place: 1) didn't have the drinks I like 2) seemed old and out dated. 3)unfriendly staff That's all.

While the fee itself is not the primary issue, it was not disclosed anywhere on the menu or within the restaurant, which makes it feel misleading. Lastly, I was incorrectly charged three times for a drink despite only receiving one refill. Overall, the service and lack of transparency made for a frustrating experience, the food was decent though for the price!! especially if theres "2 mexicans in the back" cooking up AMERICAN food.

My colleague had their Monday special - a broasted chicken dinner for $9.50 and he enjoyed it. I went with my reliable pub burger-beer dinner combo and I had their Fitz burger with tator tots for $11.95. This 1/2 pound burger, which I had done medium, had a thin layer of corned beef, swiss cheese, and thousand island dressing and I really liked it as well as the generous side of tator tots. I also had the following draft pints, each a very reasonable $6: - Boddingtons Pub Ale (4.7% ABV) - Guinness Draught Stout (4.2% ABV) - Surly Furious IPA (6.7% ABV) Note that their printed menu might be out-of-date as it showed the Fitz burger at $10.95, but I also knew from online perusal that it showed as $11.95 which is what I was eventually charged. So it was no surprise and no biggie either, but just a heads-up and the menu also does say prices are subject to change without notice. Our server Sophie was friendly and attentive and actually on her first shift at the pub, and she did a great job for us. I'll go with 4 stars, and I wouldn't hesitate to return. There were 16 drafts on tap, and if they had a more extensive and diverse beer selection (and this is not a complaint), I might then consider a 5 star rating for Fitz's. We were scheduled to have a family brunch in Redmond Park this weekend. It was celebration of life for a Redmond Cousin. The Park is named after her Father so we thought it was appropriate to have it there. Two Chefs was catering. This past week and a half we have had so much rain and it was forecasted to rain again on Saturday. I called Two Chefs and asked Bob if he could accomodate us in the restaurant so the party could go on even if it rained. Without skipping a beat, Bob checked the schedule and said absolutely. It did rain that day but we had a lovely family brunch with family that we had not seen in so long. Food was delicious and service was great. If you like hanging out with over served obnoxious drunks while you try to eat, then this is the place for you. Don't try to come in with the family especially if you have children as the last time I was there a bar fight broke out, and there were only 4 people in the bar. A quite guy, an extremely loud guy talking about money (obviously drunk) the bar keep and a guy trying to enjoy his beer. Both parties from my assessment were really drunk and should have been cut off long ago. Food is sub par, wait staff is horrendous and bar tenders seem to have a poor read on their patrons. My wife & I stopped in after using Two Chefs catering Services. We were very happy with the Catered food so we thought we would give the restraunt a try. We found the atmosphere very nice. the staff was very accomodating. Not too much pressure. I had a pork loin special that was outstanding. My wife tryed a talapia dish that she was very pleased with. She actually wanted to order another portion too take to lunch the next day, But we decided not. We went to Two Chefs, because it was recommended to us by our good friend. It was our first time in Bensenville. The decor was really nice, the waitresses very helpful and knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun. I ordered filet mignon, which was absolutely outstanding. At $21.95 it was a steakhouse quality. Can't beat it. My wife ordered a stuffed brook trout, which let me tell You.. I'm not really a fish person, but that trout was crazy good. It was stuffed with i believe shrimp, rice, and some other things, and came with the beautiful grilled zucchini. This place is so under rated. The owner is super accommodating and sweet.... and the food is fantastic. My company has had Christmas parties here and everything was perfect.... not to mention we cater lunch and breakfast from them and it's always perfect. I have personally gone here to eat and everything was perfect, from service to the food. The dessert was a very authentic and very traditional made from scratch cannolis with pistachio topping. Melt in your mouth delicious. The experience was amazing with exceptional service. One of the owners herself was the server. And was more than happy to answer all my questions about the olive oil (where it comes from) how the main dish was prepared and in detail described how they make their cannolis. Maybe I had accidentally discovered a menu from 2007 that had slipped through a dimensional rift. But no. Ten dollars. A hamburger. At a chophouse. I immediately became suspicious. In modern America, ten dollars gets you almost nothing. You can buy three airport waters. A decorative candle at Target. Half a cocktail in Chicago. A single sad avocado plus tax. But Chandler's will still give a man a hamburger for ten dollars and allow him to sit indoors while eating it. This is not pricing. This is civil disobedience. The rest of the menu was more normal. Not cheap. Not insulting. Just hovering in that increasingly rare zone where you can look at the bill without immediately texting your accountant. I ordered Chandler's chopped steak. And iced tea. This required explanation. Normally, Chandler's is the sort of place where whiskey would seem mandatory. A room like this practically demands brown liquor. But somebody had to remain sober enough to preserve the historical record. Jenny arrived. Jenny was our waitress. She had the kind of unflappable competence you only develop after years of watching grown men ask whether the prime rib is "good." She was friendly, efficient, calm. No theatrics. No "journey." No fifteen-minute hostage negotiation about the chef's concept. She did not tell me where the cow went to college. She did not describe the potatoes as "curated." She brought iced tea. Bless her. At the next table, meanwhile, events were deteriorating. A man who had clearly exceeded his recommended bourbon allocation was attempting to explain golf handicaps to a woman who looked deeply interested in dying. He had reached the point in the evening where every sentence began with: "No, no, no, see, what you don't understand is--" This is never a good sign. No useful information in human history has ever followed those words. Five minutes later he was demonstrating a backswing beside the table using a steak knife as a nine iron. His wife said his name just once, "Gary." It was not loud. It did not need to be. Gary stopped immediately. Every married man within twenty feet also stopped talking. That woman had command authority. Then the chopped steak arrived. It looked like something Eisenhower would have eaten immediately before bombing Korea. A large, brown, profoundly serious piece of beef sat in front of me with the confidence of an object that had never once considered garnishing itself. A formidable quantity of it. It existed only to be eaten, and I respected this enormously. The first bite confirmed what the appearance suggested... it was exactly the sort of food that makes you increasingly suspicious of restaurants charging forty dollars for eight ounces of beef placed beside a fern. Meanwhile, the restaurant was entering its second phase. The drinks had begun working. The room grew louder. A woman near the bar suddenly laughed so hard that she slapped the table and sent a lemon wedge airborne. It landed on a busboy.

Kind of busy when going in. That was a good sign. Great specials always going on. Look at these. It's $6 Bacardi mixers on Fridays. The food menu is mostly meaty. It's about $17 for the Beyond Burger. This comes topped with avocado, as well as cheddar and garlic aioli which I left off, plus onions and tomatoes. For sure it's a popular place for watching games. It's located on Lake at State. The Beyond Burger is the option for vegetarians.

The service is variable, because it's still somewhat transient, but they still do try really hard. And the ambiance is the same, with country music blaring too loud, and several TVs with no sound on. I still think it's a semi-affordable meal compared with other places. Today, I got a free cactus appetizer since I bought a $40 gift card. I ate the whole thing, so my cardiologist will be very happy with me after that. I also got refills on the rolls four times, but my son ate most of them I think. Overall, still a good experience 6 years later.

Such a hidden gem in Addison, Il…read more Came here to celebrate a birthday. We ordered pizza and appetizers. The waitress was super friendly. Came again on a different occasion and played bags and darts. Ordered the fish sandwich, delicious. Waitress was super nice to our party of ladies. There was a group of men that came to play bags next to us. They were respectful and kept to themselves. I love that it's family friendly but it's a place you can come and have food with friends as well. The place is huge inside! Lots of parking too. Love it.

A security guard pulled me aside and told me no, actually, I wasn't allowed to be wearing this here. When I asked to speak to the manager, he concurred. Not acceptable. There was a certain irony in the manager's delivery of this judgment while his own nipples were protruding, obscene, through his too-thin pink shirt. At about 270lbs (and not carrying it well), his shirt was the only thin thing about him. Hopefully when Pyramids reforms their dress code, they'll start by making him wear a bra. Until this place spends more time cleaning their filthy bathrooms instead of worrying about my arms, I won't be returning. One star.
