We put trust in her to look at the house, point out any red flags and give offer advise. She even talked us away from one house we wanted to offer on which is good in my opinion, that's why you hire someone with industry experience, so we really appreciated that it wasn't just ablut closing a deal. We had specific requirements so after looking for about a month, she ended up finding us a beautiful house in Tempe before it hit the market and negotiated with the seller to work out a deal. This was honestly one of the most disappointing experiences we've ever had…read more We specifically booked a property with Casago because the listing clearly advertised a heated pool and jacuzzi, which was a major factor for our stay--especially since we were traveling with children. However, when we arrived, both the pool and jacuzzi were completely cold and unusable. When we reached out, the hosts told us they could heat it for an additional fee, which we were willing to pay. But this was never disclosed upfront in the listing, which already felt misleading. Then, to make matters worse, they came back and told us the water heater was actually broken--and that they were planning to fix it three days into our stay. No prior notice, no transparency, just a casual "oh well." This is completely unacceptable. If a key advertised amenity is not functioning, guests should absolutely be informed before booking or at the very least before arrival. We would have never booked this place had we known. On top of that, the cleanliness was also an issue. The toilet was clearly not properly cleaned and had visible stains, which is the bare minimum expectation for any stay. Because of all of this, we had no choice but to cancel our stay early (within 3 hours of checking in) . Overall, this felt misleading, poorly managed, and extremely frustrating--especially traveling with kids. and the worst part - they won't refund us back after all this. I will never go through Casago ever again.

I attended a wedding at The Silverleaf Club this past Saturday night and it was incredibly beautiful. The ceremony took place at sunset and the colors in the sky combined with the green golf course and red mountains were breathtaking. There was a tad bit of rain before and after the ceremony and during the middle, we witnessed a rainbow! The cocktail reception was held outdoors with a full bar and passed appetizers, and then we went inside for dinner and the party - it was a dream and I couldn't be happier for my friends that are now husband and wife. The best party at Silverleaf was back in '06 (I think) when they put the giant tent up on the hill. I heard that the tent alone was about $700k. Tickets were extremely reasonably priced because the event was also being used to market some of the lots for sale in the upper canyon. Nobody knew who the performers were going to be so when the stage rotated around everyone was surprised to see that Kenny Loggins was performing for this private event. The food and drinks were fantastic and I have wished that they would throw another over the top party like that again. Two years later we did go to the spring party to see Earth, Wind and Fire, but it will never be as good as that party on the hill. In the last couple of years the real estate market has taken a big hit. While property might not be selling as well the service at the club has never changed below 'Fantastic'. It is refreshing to see that the club is being operated in the same fashion and enthusiasm as it was when it first opened. Being a private club does present a challenge for people to experience the location and food. However, if you are ever presented with the opportunity to go, don't pass it up.

Then, on June 2, they finally told us the owners decided not to rent the property anymore--and that they would not be refunding our application fees. The worst part? The home had already been listed for 18 days when we applied, and at no point did they mention that the rental was uncertain or pending a decision from the owner. It feels like a bait-and-switch designed to collect application fees from multiple people for a property that may never have been available. Very unprofessional and frustrating. Would not recommend.
