Yes they always have been busy. Yes they are RUSTIC but it used to be worse. And they have the freshest fish in town because the boats come up the river and right to their dock! We keep coming back because it's the best place to get fair-priced Stone Crab Claws in season. It's worth the wait in line but you can also call to order a few days in advance (if they are getting some, and they will prepare your order in advance for pickup outside. At least they used to do that. I hope they still do so because I order a lot for the holidays. read more

Me and my daughter sat and waited an hour and a half to be the first customers in and we where but tell me why we waited almost 2 hours to get the meat cut up and the ladies up front could use a lesson or 2 in customer service your tone when you talk with people speaks volumes. Although it is a great place to buy seafood, sometimes they are so busy that they ignore the customer's request. Yesterday I purchased 90 dollars worth of fish. I had a simple request. Clean the head of the fish and cut it in half. When I was leaving, I failed to check the merchandise before I left. When I got home, the head was cut in a thousand pieces, I was heart broken. So my advice is to wait and watch what they're doing with your purchase. read more

Do not come here thinking your special "you are not" be prepared to get shouted at if you don't know what you want, be prepared to be looked over. But this is the place you want to be to get your fresh fish for a Friday fish fry or just about any occasion. They have blue crab, snapper, grouper, sprat fish. They'll clean you fish and you better know how you want it cut. To make this a hidden they'll even prepare it outside in truck stop. This is a unique seafood market for the area. Yes it does smell very fishy in there. But what can you expect? When you walk in and look to the right there are bins filled with ice and fresh fish. When I went there they had a ton of yellowtail snapper, wahoo, blue crab and many others. You grab some plastic gloves, a white bucket and pick out your choice of fish. Bring the bucket to the cashier, pay and then you tell them how you would like your fillets. It is definitely not pristine in there. This ain't no Whole Foods. However you can get fresh fish for a decent price. I would recommend you to at least come and check it out! read more

If you are looking for fresh sea food this is the place to go. The sea food comes right off the boat. Nothing fancy but quality fresh every thing. Now if you purchase the fish they have guys who will scale and filet your order. These guys work on the customers tipping them. The prices are really good. They have all kinds of fish, shrimp and crabs. They also have stone crabs and clams. Two Bills seafood market has been around for 40 years. read more

Hard to read prices, hard to find help and hard to see what fish there is with NO signs. It truly is a commercial place, but Broward Meat and Seafood has better selection at much better prices with butchers cleaning fish for nothing! Try both. You will see what I mean! I just bough two small yellowtail snappers and a two pound lobster in Broward. Lobster was an amazing $20 and two yellowtail snappers were $11 Baked the snappers whole and steamed the two pound lobster. WOW! read more

Searched my area for good seafood and happened up this location. I stood outside for about half an hour which was new to me. After going inside I realized why. Inside isn't very large but the seafood options are all around. Purchased an assortment of seafood including shrimps and oysters. Due to Covid, the line outside was long but well worth the wait. An abundance of yellow tail, our favourite. No signage on Griffin Rd, seems you really need to know where you are going ie word of mouth only. A really nice find (word of mouth). This is not Fish Peddler, although they have a lot of the same offerings, just a lot better prices and no snooty clientele. Yes, it's a bit slow in there The reason you buy fish here is for the freshness. They bring fresh fish in the morning... shrimp from keys. My husband is a fisherman and knows fresh fish (we shop at Whole Foods and buy only organic products and produce...sometimes fish at WF is questionable, just saying). It's inexpensive and fresh. You go pick your fish from a bucket bring it to the lady who puts it on ice. If you want it cleaned/gutted you DO have to wait, we clean it ourselves. We usually buy Red Snapper, Jackfish and Shrimp. You have to check the eyes of the fish, if the eyes are white murky eyes the fish isn't as fresh. Check the gills make sure they are pink. read more

OMGG!!! They are one of the best fresh seafood shops in south Florida. There seafood is very fresh and delicious. I always get the blue crabs and the snow crabs and I've never been disappointed with going here. They clean and cut the seafood for you which saves you time and they do a pretty good job at that. Denied service bc of my medical condition I am a former Florida resident that had returned for a family visit. My father and I always bought from Two Bill's in the past so I returned there to gets fresh seafood for my mother. She doesn't get fresh seafood that often since my dad's passing in 2019. I went in to purchase oysters and was wearing my mask right below my nose. I was confronted an employee and was told I had to pull it above my nose. I replied that I couldn't bc I am claustraphobic and can't have my face covered bc it triggers panic attacks and anxiety. They said they wouldn't serve me. They said it is CDC regulation. I expressed not with a medical condition. I was told they don't want their families sick. I offered them to check temperature. They did not want to. After all of this back in forth I look over at the employee's working and what do I see. Employee's with masks pulled below their mouths. I guess its ok to risk the publics health just not the public risking theirs. I will never return to the hypocrisy of this shell of what was a great business. read more

Haven't been here for a long time since I live in North Miami. Was in the area and stopped in to see if they had fresh grouper. They did and also some beautiful red snappers and yellow tails. Bought a 4+ lb grouper ($8.99lb) and had it filleted and skinned. Grouper fingers for dinner. Very happy with the fish, price and service. I will be back. read more

The freshest fish you can buy in the entire area. From here it goes to Publix, Whole Foods, Restaurants, Hotels etc. Stay away from the freezer and the stuff behind the counter. You only buy from the blue bins in front of you, that's the stuff you can inspect and it comes right of the boat. read more

This place has the freshest snapper around. The guys work constantly cleaning fish for customers all day long. When you go in you get gloves and pick your fresh fish out from the coolers. Then one of them will clean it and finally you pay at the counter. It is not fancy nor is it intended to be a high class place. Coming from New England I remember many seafood shanty's that were rugged like this one. They don't cook any fish here but if you look in the refrigerator cases you can find some of the salads and prepared foods that Captain Mikes always carried. The lobster salad is great. I've tried the fish but come here for one thing, the clams. They arethe only place around that still have five sizes of fresh clams. There is a board behind the counter with the shells of each so customers can figure the ones they want. I bought chowder clams for $7.99 a dozen. They didn't have any Cherrystone in stock but who cares when you can make a killer clam chowder with these babies! If you want to see real life and not a sanitized fish counter try it out. read more

I purchased four red snappers at Two Bills Seafood Market on 11/4/2021, and was appalled when I arrived home and realized after requesting to have the fish cleaned that I was given three fish instead of the four I purchased. I immediately called the fish market and was told I would NOT receive the fourth fish I purchased without a receipt. I sensed an immediate SCAM because the guy who cleaned my fish took my receipt as proof of purchase prior to returning what I thought were four cleaned fish. I accepted the financial loss initially and vowed never to purchase any seafood from this location. However, when I begin to prepare the fish to cook I noticed two of the three fish had cloudy pupils indicating the fish were not fresh as advertised and was NOT safe to eat. Buyers beware‼‼‼‼ I noticed the fish were spoiled after the fish market closed and will speak with the manager today on 11/5/2021. I will return the fish and attempt to get a refund. I will provide an updated review following my meeting with the manager. As for now I would NOT recommend purchasing seafood from Two Bills Fish Market unless you enjoy being robbed of your food purchase and you enjoy eating spoiled fish. I purchased KeyWest shrimp, sea scallops,medium clams and small red snapper. Red snapper was fresh but shrimp was not, you could smell the fishiness when you opened the bag, the clams were not fresh either. If you go there, buy the fish only because you pick what you want, anything they bag for you, you are taking a risk. read more

First time experience super slow for a service they charge you for it took 2 hours to have 6 small ass snappers filleted he butchered my snappers,oysters were definitely not fresh I get fresher from publix they need the health department to check them out if I didn't drive so far I would have taken back the oysters never again super over rated! This is the place to go if you want the freshest local seasonal fish. It smells like fish, and there are flies, they kinda go together. They are very clean and prepare the fish very well. We come to town several times a year and go out of our way to pick up fish to take back west. They are line caught and brought in daily and the store is always packed with locals. While picking mine out, I noticed at $13 a pound, a slight smell and all the lobsters were missing a claw.
