Quick spot for a sweet treat with several options. I got a chocolate/vanilla swirl dipped in chocolate. There is a walk up window to order from and they even have some pup treats. There's a few outside tables to sit & enjoy and enough parking. It's pretty casual so even though the line can sometimes get a little long, it goes by fast. Quick, easy and affordable. read more

Google maps says they're open until 11 PM, but when we got there at 10:40 they were closed. Apparently they're only open until 11 on Saturdays, every other night is 10:30. We've gotten ice cream here once before and it was good, but there's no drive through like other locations and they really need to update their hours. read more

Good location. Much needed in this area. Nothing even close to here for ice cream. I am sure glad I came. Serving sizing are large and worth the money. I didnt' get to wild and just went with a chocolate waffle cone on my first visit but, I loved it. The hubby went with a shake the had an excellent flavor. The daughter went with a sundae that was too large for her to finish. Why no 5 stars, the staff although nice was slooow. It took almost 10 minutes to get three items. read more

I really like the ice cream it's good and close to my house . but not until the guy with the pony tail give me an attitude. he's a cashier and wanting to have chocolate mint ice cream i always ordered every time we go in this place . but he rudely says "They don't have it and never sell this kind of ice cream" i insists that i ordered many times.. i ask nicely but still very rude say to me they never had this ice cream before and never made it before. be careful with this little guy with sharp mouth . i'll never order in this location again better go in walgreens or wawa they have chocolate mint. and doesn't have rude employee. read more

This place has been open for like over 10 years lol I remember coming here as a kid right after dance class in the shopping plaza right next door. A chocolate and vanilla swirl with sprinkles and gummy bears is always my go to! They have all kinds of sizes I always go for the kiddie cup and they top it off ... Want a nice little break with a sweet treat? I highly recommend you to try Twistee Treat by the OBT location. My kids like this place. We like to visit it when we are in the area either visiting Walgreens or just want to stop for ice cream. They have all kind of flavor of ice cream and the price is reasonable. My daughter likes the kids size strawberry ice cream and my husband and I like the pineapple flavor ice cream. The pineapple is probably one of the best we like the most. Never disappointed visiting this place, on a nice sunny day, sit down outside of the place, enjoy the ice cream with the love of your family, life is good. Absolutely love this place!!! The diet non-fat sugar-free stuff ... don't believe there was such a thing because it tasted like the real thing. It was almost 9pm, and this place got two lines of 8 customers each going non-stop. So glad we stopped by. What a treat. I've come here 4 times in the past week. I get the same thing every time, and it is always exactly how it should be. Besides the consistency, the staff here is always friendly and very efficient even during a rush. The price is awesome, which is a big reason I come here. I would much rather get my chocolate peanut butter banana shake here, for half the price of a smoothie shop. We love this twistee treat location! Been to a few others, they don't even compare! Prices are really good; for my family of four , we usually spend around $7. Cheapest around, by far. There is always a long line in this location but plenty of parking and there is about 6 four top tables, so the wait is never an issue. We will continue to be regulars here! read more

Twistee Treats is definitely a go to place for a hot day! The lines are always long, but the employees always do a great job on fast service! Prices are affordable for the portion of what is served. This was my second time there so I ordered me the mocha Frappuccino Soft serve ice cream in a large waffle cone. It was so delicious & the ice cream was piled high! I love all twistee treat locations and this is no exception. It's been a staple on OBT for years. The vanilla cone is as classic as they come. Get other flavors if you're adventurous. I live 5mim. From here. Whenever I pass by, it's a craving. I always order the cookies and cream with cookie dough twirls. It's like a milkshake but you're still scooping the ice cream with the spoon in a long cup. My little sister gets the banana spilt. It's huge for her, but the texture of the whip cream is delicious. I really do enjoy eating outside and going to your car all happy. I prefer if you order in 1 window and pick it up in the window. The line gets huge late at night. But that's just my opinion. Easily the best location in Orlando. Staff is awesome, and consistent training means sizes are correct. Always friendly. Best ice cream, and it may be less expensive than most of the other locations. Don't be put off by the location. It is safe and most of the clientele are very respectful and jovial, especially after getting their treat. read more

This is a straight up old school soft ice cream joint that is both very affordable and staffed by nice people. I had the "junior" waffle cone, dipped in the cherry dip and sprinkles, with the ice cream dipped in the cherry dip. GNOM GNOM GNOM!!!! So delish! My friend had the parfait and raved about it. TWISTEE TREAT, I'M BEGGING YOU PLEASE COME TO NEW YORK CITY! Rich and creamy ice cream, who doesn't love that? Cheap prices, who doesn't love that also? I wish I knew about this the first night. I would have skipped dessert in the restaurant and driven here. Twist something or other.. a mixture of M&M's (our choice) along with vanilla soft serve just wasn't mixed enough for us. The M and M's I thought would have been a little grounded up in the twist but it was whole and not comfortable chomping on hard M's and enjoying the ice cream. The Sundae's were awesome. Hot Chocolate for one and Butterscotch for the other. Amazing. The marshmallow shake? DEAR LORD! awesome. Line did get long but they opened another register to deal with it.
