3.5/5 stars! Twisted Lime has been around for quite some time but it was nice to visit after so long! The interior is Hawaiian-themed and also has an outdoor seating area which is perfect for the summer! My friend and I shared some spam musubi and got some drinks. The spam musubi was...meh. It's not bad but I've had better at Hmart lol. The drinks aren't bad though! I got the margarita and tequila sunrise- yummy! I love how they have all day specials so take a look at the chalk board hung up at the bar when you come visit. Our server Makalya was fantastic- she brought such good vibes and was absolutely wonderful! Hope to come back and try more items on the menu.

Adding these photos to my review. I forgot to add them and in the new photos are my loco moco which is amazing and I think beef and broccoli and it was good! Very saucy and flavorful. Love this place.

Example of SPAM musubi with poor SPAM to rice ratio. Notice size of SPAM slice compared to amount of rice.

Haven't been here since they first opened a way long time ago in 2011, 2012 maybe. The Twisted Limed didn't make a good first impression back then both in service and most definitely the menu. But here we are, 2025 and with time to kill decided to give this neighborhood watering hole another go. First off, since we were there during the day it wasn't too busy which was kinda nice. Because it's kind of a small pub it would be horribly crowded, even with their outside seating on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Lotsa T.V. with sports and nice island-style tunes with a noise level where you can have a conversation w/o having to repeat yourself or yell. Service was good, mostly due to the time of day, light crowd, so we were able to sit where we wanted, given menus, ordered drinks. Our server was personable, made regular check ins and food time from order to service was perfect. Now what motivated me to write this review was mainly because of the food. Because honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. With the Island /Hawai'i thing being their theme, some of their menu that reflected that. So I decided I'd give some of my island favorites a try, of course with some lowered expectations. I mean I've eaten at some local island/Hawaiian places here in Western Washington run by islanders that were subpar and some cases bad. The meals I gauge would the loco moco and spam musubi. So at the Twisted Lime, that's what ordered. Wifey had a big ol' plate of their Nacho Mama. Her take, loved it. Perfect as not so much stuff on it to make the chips all soggy, go good amount of toppings, nice crisp chips and the guacamole, super tasty. My meal, I was pleasantly surprised. The musubi was excellent. That being a good SPAM to rice ratio, nice strip of nori and good flava. In case you wonder, most good musubi should have a piece of SPAM at least 1/2 thick, and rice 3x that. Place that cheap out give a sliver of SPAM and a butt-ton of rice. Examples of poorly made musubi: the ones they make at Town and Country Market in Mill Creek and Marination at T-Mobile. If you like 'em from those places, good on you. But if you ever had a well made, well proportioned one, you'll never go back. Examples of local perfect musubi: Sushi Spott so far has my number one spot, but Hawaiian Sun in Everett, and as of this review, Twisted Lime has damn good musubi. Now for their Loco Moco. First off, damn fine presentation, second off, "ONO GRINDZ". I wouldn't say broke da mout, but pretty damn close. Good proportions of rice, good amount of gravy with good flava, two beef patties, also with good flava and a nice egg over-easy. My only comments are, 1. For their loco moco price ($18), only one egg? I know that most loco mocos I've made or ordered, standard (especially in Hawai'i), two eggs brah! 2. If you wanna do the whole Aloha theme, Hawaiian mac is a standard/complementary side of any Hawaiian meal. Not something to be added to the price. Any plate lunch includes Hawaiian mac. Seriously, Google Search images. Kinda like burgers, fries should always be included, so bravo to the places that do that and shame on the ones that charge over $10.00 for a burger and don't include fries. 3. For a neighborhood bar, I'm surprised it isn't family friendly for a time. Example, the Savage Moose in Kenmore, sports bar, FF until 2100 hours. 4. No smoking or vaping in the outdoors seating? It's.....outdoors. It's not like you're out there for the view unless you enjoy the view of other businesses and a neighborhood street. But whatever. Bottom line, the food tasted good and didn't disappoint. Good solid service (can't speak to when it gets crazy busy). Star lost on the above comments, but otherwise I would definitely go there again. If anything I'm now curious of how their Kalua Pork is, comparatively speaking to what I know is good Kalua Pork.

The place had a nice ambiance, colorful lighting, lots of seating, lots of drink and food options. We got the garlic Parmesan wings which I thought was delicious, lots of garlic and Parmesan, chicken was juicy and fried perfectly. The Thai basil seasoning was terrible. It tasted burnt, I don't know how to explain the flavor but DO NOT GET IT. I recommend going for basic flavors as I do think the wings are pretty good. Their Hawaiian pineapple fried rice is good too, had the right amount of seasoning. The nacho was decent, wish they had nacho cheese in it, it was just okay, but it had all the toppings you need. My friends ordered the Cuban sandwich and they said it was very salty. I realized some of their food really is salty just an FYI. Don't know if I'll come again but glad I tried this place.

Just loved this place the ambiance and vibes were amazing . Drinks were great and small portions were great too...it's based on Hawaiian theme just loved everything about it. Service was slow on food but drinks came fast. Definitely worth the visit be ware it's small and cute one so you might need to wait couple of times

Wings Thai Basil and Caribbean Jerk

Looking for Hawaiian style food? Seems to be the place to go. We have not been here since they reopened and I have to say it was a 180. The first time we came in here we felt out of place and did not like the overall vibe. This time around having the tropical Hawaiian theme I loved it. For the decor to the music it just had a great feel to it. Our server/bartender was awesome(I think Sean?). He was very energetic, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place just for his outstanding service. We ordered a couple things. Wings hands down were the winner and I can't wait to go back and try other flavors. Perfectly crunchy, Thai Basil won over the Caribbean jerk. The Mac salad was decent and the musubi had some seasoning on the rice that just made it. We have put off going here for a long time after our first wxoerience years back, but we will be back soon to work our way through the entire menu as it all looked bomb.

Long time since I have done a review but this might be my new watering hole. If your looking for a great atmosphere, drinks are amazing and the staff are awesome. They have everything you are looking for, outdoor seating but it is raining (go figure it's Washington). If you want pull tabs they got it, plenty of parking and did I tell you that it is just a great place! Oh yeah I forgot plenty of tv's for the Seahawks game. So go see Teryn and tell her Nicole said hi

Still 21+, even on weekend brunch? If so, is take-out available?

Yes, it is still 21+ all days of the week. You can call in and place take out orders for pickup.

Are kids allowed during brunch?

No, they are not. This is still a bar.

What is the most popular menu item and mixed drink?

I love their Margaritas, Mojitos & their house drink Huck Finn. You can't go wrong with ordering wings or hand cut fries - we get them every time.

Service is just unbelievably sweet and friendly and they clearly know their way around a drink menu. In long Not what you'd expect in Snohomish, and that's very much to its credit. It's a nondescript little building with no signage at all. You can probably roll a wheelchair in over the transom, though the sidewalk is a little slopy here. You open the door, push aside the curtain, and wait for your eyes to adjust. Super dim inside. The bar is right across from the door, flanked by 2 seating areas. Antique furniture and wall art, going for that 1920s look and doing it very well--while also keeping it comfortable for long sits. The crowd isn't trying to match the period clothing or anything, it's just a bunch of fun younger Snohomies hanging out and drinking cocktails. The bartender hands you a menu of a dozen and a half cocktails, mostly vintage, vintage-sounding, or using vintage ingredients or techniques (e.g., 3 different offerings with egg whites). Prices are fair enough, and they bring out your drink when it's ready. Vintage-looking glassware--cool! There's another big room past the bar, lots of Edison bulbs here and there, but not so many as to create even a hint of glare anywhere. There's a washroom in the far corner, definitely big enough to be accessible. Now I can't remember whether there were grab bars. The ceilings in here are all different heights, most covered with pressed tin. Nice effect. There's one window that hasn't been covered, so a little natural light gets in. It was kind of fun trying to imagine what kinds of businesses might have been in here before it became a speakeasy. There's a staircase to a small loft office space. Overall, if you're antique shopping or just out and about in Snoho, this is a good stop and you should check it out at least once. Really nice vibe. They allow outside food--one table ran around the corner for pizzas and brought them back in. I'll come back for sure.

The server, however, was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived around 7:45 and were served a complimentary tostadas, which was delicious. I ordered the fajita bowl with carne asada, and it was the highlight of the meal. The meat was tender and juicy not dry at all and all the ingredients tasted fresh and worked beautifully together. The bowl came in a fried shell, which wasn't my personal favorite, but taking a bite between spoonfuls added a nice change of texture. The portion was generous and incredibly filling. I only discovered the rice about halfway through, so my tip is to mix everything thoroughly before digging in! There was a network glitch that caused a delay, but our server was very apologetic and kept thanking us for our patience. That thoughtfulness made a lovely impression. Between the delicious bowl and the friendly service, I'll definitely be back.

Today felt extra special and I felt the need to write on Yelp! Service: The staffs here go out of their way to provide the best dining experience. We were so impressed because while most places are cutting staffing/cost which is reflected in the overall quality of food and service, this establishment stands out as different. Everyone is so professional in every way; the appearance, the attention they give to the customers, the genuine friendliness of each staff and so on...We can truly enjoy ourselves when we come here. They make you feel like a vip here. Food: We really enjoyed the freshness and crunch of the chicken tacos app (4 per order), miso glazed wild salmon, fish & chips, Caesar salad (add grilled shrimp), and non alcoholic drinks. Generous portions and bold flavors are what stood out. The chef knows flavor..The take out (soups and cookies) looked amazing too and so perfectly packed with napkins, utensils and after dinner chocolate mints. My hubby's fish and chips were perfectly fried in beer batter it was the most delicate crunch. My wild salmon dinner was healthy and delicious over a bed of bok choy/mushroom/eggplant medley. (keto non dairy). Hubby loved his meal. The huge parmesan twill perched on his caesar made him happy... Why they are special? It's in the small details like without being asked, the bartender brought hot sauce for our tacos. Another assistant server who brought us the food came back to offer fresh ground pepper and even asked if we want it fine or more coarse. He later offered a good helping of cocktail sauce in addition to the 2 sauces that normally came with the fish and chips. This one gal was so sweet in letting us know they are packing up our cookies it's being cooled and took the time to ask how we liked everything. The main male server was perfect! He was so attentive to all of our needs and made sure we were enjoying everything throughout our whole complimentary dining experience from start to finish without being too present so we can truly enjoy ourselves. We truly felt pampered and want to thank all the staffs and supervisor. The team at Bazille Alderwood deserves recognition by the supervisor and perhaps a raise for all by corporate.

The last two times In a few years we've been there not so much. Our preferred table is an odd round booth tables right up against the fire at the kitchen and it's a bit like sitting at the chefs table in a nice restaurant . Typically served by the bartender when it's not really busy and fun to watch the kitchen and chill. We always seem to order one of the large plate combos and usually the "turf" option. The potato's are just soft, creamy, and plentiful. The bacon wrapped dates good. The chicken empanadas are fried nice but still moist inside and good with the harissa sauce and served with a great house salad for two. I don't eat lamb really ever but I do here. Really perfectly done little lamb chops on the bone but I'm only good for one. The beef skewer pretty good though a little tough. And the pineapple chicken wraps plentiful and spicy yet a bit too sweet but kind of addictive. The bartender was a great server and nice fellow but a bit busy otherwise with house drink prep. But we weren't in a hurry so it was fine. I see that there are some recent reviews about ownership change and that it is not the same as the beginning of this place. I can't disagree with that however it seems like the limited fixed menu combo board we always order has remained mostly the same and the reduced hectic volume of diners has made it more available to us as far drive dining option. It has of course become more expensive but not too much out of the norm. I'm not so sure that I would put on a large group meal here however.
