A pretty cool brewery with a casual atmosphere. Holzlager has quite a surprisingly large beer menu…read more It definitely is the place to go to try a variety of suds in Woodstock. Good flavors. There's not much food beyond chips and little snacks. Because we got off the train we had to walk over here from downtown. It's a little far but not extremely, so give yourself time and get here. The inside is cool and has a few games including slots. A lot of beers sounded good. We tried a few of these. I had the Hawaiian Hammer IPA. It's $7 a pint. This has a very slight fruity taste. It's made with Cascade, Chinook, Citra, Mosaic, and Sorachi Ace hops. Wow that's a lot of hops, but it's surprisingly not very hoppy though. It has notes of blood orange, guava, and passionfruit. We had a few others, and they were good too. As for food there's not much. Pretty much just potato chips and small snacks. It's about $1 a bag. The only bad thing about here. Good flavor and variety of beer. It has a nice outdoor patio. They don't serve any food but you can get something from one of the nearby places and you can even bring it in, and there's some that deliver like pizza and other things.

Big fan. Beer brewed on premise and ranges from blonde to stout to fruity IPA's. Staff is very…read morelaid back and friendly yet attentive. Mug club available for regulars that offers discounts. No food served but very good options nearby and within walking distance. Tree shaded Outdoor beer garden for when the weather permits. Just a good local brewery doing the right things for their patrons. PS there is a great local baker that sells sourdough bread loaves here on Thursdays. It's a must of you like sourdough. I'm here on a regular basis and you should be too.

After a really long day of travel this place was a great find, open at 10pm the service was…read moreextremely pleasant and friendly not to mention we were taken care of promptly. The atmosphere is fun and spunky with pick me up music, they have days its live, and the game on which my dad was very pleased about. The seating was comfortable the lighting was nice and they clearly have a great patio during the daytime. We ordered the potato skins for an appetizer which was incredible and I ordered the Bourbon Glazed Salmon which was amazing and hit the spot. Definitely a place I recommend

A lot of beers and burgers on the menu. There's also some other stuff. Came here looking for some food and fun. It's got plenty of both along with some other things about it. This can get pretty crowded especially weekends. Come and hear live music. Has a big ass stage outside. A lot of beers on tap, and plenty more in bottles and cans. It's about $12 for a basic cocktail, whiskey with whatever. Could be cheaper. The same thing for the food. It's about $16 for a burger. You can substitute a black bean patty. A lot more things on the menu. There's also the seafood and steaks among other things. Has some pretty generous hours. It's located on the southeast part of town on Lake Avenue at Martha. This place gets packed on weekends.

I've been coming here for a very long time. Really nice relaxed atmosphere and friendly crowd…read more It is now very family friendly and the lives can't be beat. Very down to earth crowd ranging from Spanish, urban and country influences, Most agree this place is safe and inviting of all. Even on New Year's eve the crowd was respectful and appreciative. Cinco de Mayo is always an adventure an adventure for any Spanish friendly crowd, so in the evening on this date, be warned.,. Much down country positive vibes in this place. Everybody's favorite seems to be guacamole and chips, which I concur is right up there with Marie's and Los Casualties. While I'm a vegetarian everyone tells me the burgers out the best in town. I love their tacos, and I'm hardly alone,

Well I saw it had food and we went a few weeks back. The place was empty, but that happens at times in WS I don't get it. It was a Fri night and a little late to eat with the kids (maybe 730) but DEAD on a Fri... Still we ordered anyway Our food looked good & fresh. I got this great sounding pineapple chicken wrap (can't remember the name) but unfortunately it was almost inedible--super spicy....i like some spice but this was like the spiciest Indian-food-level spice despite having no mention on the menu of any discernible spice. I was bummed because it was otherwise cooked well...but I couldn't eat it (had about 1/3 and left it -- mentioning to the very kind waitress that it was almost inedible-- which it was. My kids & wife seemed to have decent meals, but that item (if it wasn't just cooked wrong -- and I think that may have been the issue) shouldn't be on the menu unfortunately We might give it another try before writing this place off...I want to see the Square restaurants & shops do well...but right now I can't recommend
