Our friends have done escape rooms several times and invited us to do one last weekend. It was my first time so I wasn't sure what to expect. The young female working the front was very nice and patient with us when we had questions while she was explaining the rules to us. The puzzles were clever, challenging, and required real teamwork, but nothing felt impossible or unfair. There were a few twists we didn't see coming, which kept the whole experience exciting from start to finish. We were able to get out of the escape room in 47 mins! This is definitely something I would recommend doing with friends or even with family. They have a couple kid-friendly escape rooms that we want to bring our friend's teenage daughter to do. read more

Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing on multiple levels -- both with the escape room itself and how I was treated afterward. The room was run-down, not well-maintained, and just poorly designed. The puzzles weren't challenging in a fun or clever way -- they felt confusing for the sake of being confusing, without much logic or satisfaction in solving them. The clues didn't flow well, and the overall experience felt frustrating, not immersive. For how much it cost, I expected something far better. I originally left a one-star review with no comment, just reflecting my honest opinion and planning to move on -- no drama, no refund request, nothing. But then I got a call from the business questioning my review in a rude and confrontational way. Instead of taking the feedback professionally, the owner reacted defensively and has since been replying to reviews (including mine) in a bizarre, almost manic tone. Being called "malicious" for sharing an honest opinion is just unprofessional and, frankly, a red flag. The owner's responses are cringey, aggressive, and not what you'd expect from a business that's supposedly customer-focused. I wish I could recommend this place, but between the subpar experience and the way I was treated, I absolutely cannot. read more

I went here for the first time & had a great time! Though there was a part of the room that didn't work properly (we weren't aware it didn't work properly, but were informed after) & it took a chunk of time off of what we had left, which left us to not be able to complete the room. (But I will say that who knows if we would have completed it but we were close, so more time would have been great!). The owners were reviewing the footage at the end of the night, for quality purposes. They saw the problem that happened with the door, and called me to let me know. They were so awesome & offered for me and my party to come back again on them. They were so professional & courteous. Overall I will recommend them over and over again. They are a small family business, and we were treated amazingly. Will recommend them, will be back, and wish them the most success!! read more

Love escape rooms! We've done about 25 now and this is a solid three. I would go in when the prices are inexpensive. The room is not worth the price on a Friday or Saturday night. Did The pirate room & was not impressed. Too much stuff to read too much stuff that had to be done just right, just too much. My family took part in the Alice in Wonderland themed room. The clues don't make any sense, so you Resort to asking for clues after you read a clue. Some of the pieces don't have the correct number of to help with the next clue either. There's no ambience to the room, like no music. There is one controller that opens all the boxes with the next clues. Unfortunately I can't say that we enjoyed are time and they definitely need to make some repairs/changes to their clues and room. read more

We did the Dolls Attic escape room and it was the most creepy yet very challenging escape room I've been to. The room was very decorated with creepy props that gave us chills but in a fun way there are many surprises and if I had to chose to come here again I would!! I've done a lot of escape rooms in the area. This was the best and most creative escape room I've ever played. Their prices are far better than all the other escape rooms, the staff is so nice, and I like that they change the puzzles and rooms so when you play them again it's like a new experience. Most of the other escape rooms at other places keep the same rooms which makes me not want to go there anymore. We did the Rabbit's Hollow room. it was challenging and so much fun! The owner gave us great attention and hints. excellent!

By far the worst escape room experience I have ever been to. We were given the instructions in the actual room that we would be playing, which should have already been a warning sign... For the duration of the experience, we could hear the employees laughing about their own private conversation. When we were stuck or asked for clues the employees then had to ask us what we had accomplished so far, as they were clearly not paying attention. At one point we asked for a clue, and we were told to look for a code we had already found, and so we've been wasted about 10 minutes looking for a secondary and nonexistent code in the same area. Further, we were on more than one occasion asked how many minutes in the clock said it was left in the game as the staff was not keeping track themselves. Ultimately all of this is so frustrating that we eventually we walked out without completing the game. I would never recommend this to anyone. read more

We love escape rooms and have done quite a few. NW Escape Room in Hazel Dell is awesome but we have completed all the rooms so I was excited when this one opened in the mall. Unfortunately, it was probably the most unorganized room we have ever done. The props were very basic (basically just a big empty room with some lockers and pad locks. Usually rooms have a lot more appeal to the theme. We did the 3pm time slot for Snatch. Multiple items in the room were broken as well. We solved the last puzzle with about 10 minutes left not even knowing it was the end. After about 10 minutes standing around confused we radioed the game master to ask what was next. She then asked us if we did a few things (I thought they were supposed to be watching) and once we said yes we did she told us we escaped. It was really odd. Who knows how long we would have been in there if we didn't radio! haha We won't be doing any more of their rooms. read more
