Super friendly and welcoming studio for beginners! They have a wide variety of classes available for different levels, including other aerial arts (silks, Lyra) and choreo classes. They have a generous cancellation policy (12 hours in advance) and some classes fill up fast but you can get on the waitlist. I also love the lighting in the pole studio at night!

Overall a fun idea but just make sure you have some level of dancing skills to take one of these dance classes. Not very beginner friendly

Ask the Community - Twirly Studios

Do you offer aerial yoga classes or do small group intro class for small party?

Hi! Yes there are private groups & parties available, we offer pole and aerial yoga, as well as chair dance. For more information on rates, the webpage is https://twirlystudios.com/groups/ and you can give a text or call to the main number for more…

Would like to try your classes, how do I go by doing it? Prices are not listed? (did not really look for it) payments on drop in bases or have to pay X amount of times in bulk?

Hi there! All classes are on a reservation basis, done through our website or the Mindbody app. We have individual class passes, and there is a slight discount for purchasing bulk passes or unlimited visits posted here:…

Are you still enforcing the mask on policy?

No, effective Sept 2022 we're no longer requiring masks to be worn in the studio. However, if someone would prefer to wear a face covering, we respect the choice and offer free disposable masks on request.

Still trying to get information on where you guys are at with masking? I don't wear a mask while exercising, curious what my options are as I would like to try lyra at your studio. Thank you.

Update: Effective Sept 2022 we're no longer requiring masks to be worn in the studio. However, if someone would prefer to wear a face covering, we respect the choice and offer free disposable masks on request.

How much does the intro/beginner pole dance class cost?

We currently have a new client special going.. $25 for you first class.

The website to register doesn't work. Does anyone know how much the silk classes are?

Hi! It's $30 for drop-in but there are also package deals available! No class this upcoming week though because our instructor is going to be performing at a show. Feel free to check out our fb page for more updates!…

They offer both Pole and Aerial classes, each with their own vibe and energy. Pole classes are held in Suite N and tend to have a bolder, more expressive atmosphere. Aerial classes are in Suite O and are usually calmer and more focused on flow and form. Make sure you head to the correct suite depending on your class. When you arrive, just check in with the instructor, or follow the lead of others in the room. Some instructors like to check everyone in personally, while others are more casual about it. It's a no-shoes kind of space. For Aerial, you're usually barefoot or in socks. For Pole, you're either barefoot or in heels depending on the class. I've taken a variety of classes over the years, but these days I'm more focused on Aerial. I especially want to shout out KC, who is my favorite instructor. She's clear, encouraging, and just a great teacher overall. Her classes are the perfect mix of supportive and challenging, and I always leave feeling stronger and more confident. I've been a student since the studio was called Poletential, back when it was under different ownership. It's been great to see the space evolve while still staying a welcoming and empowering place to train.

I appreciate how professional this business is + how kind everyone here is! And how pole + dance offers discounts to extend itself to the community in an effort to be more accessible to folks :) It is a bit pricier than other studios but the quality is amazing. My only "complaint" is that at one of the classes I signed up for, there were more students than there were poles so some of us had to share. I'm not sure if this is typical for auditioning instructor community centric classes, but I found it a little odd as I've never experienced that at any studio class before, and I've specifically taken several of the $10 classes. I'm not sure if it's an over-booking issue, or the intent really is to have people share but I prefer to have my own pole. Perhaps a helpful feature that could be implemented in the app is showing the class capacity that you're signing up for, I.e. "8/10 spots"-- a studio I used to go to had this feature and it greatly helped me decide on classes to sign up for. Overall a beautiful space and I look forward to more classes here!

I've attended classes with Ly, Yisha, Jane, Yoko, Jo, Katya, and some other guest and sub instructors. There are a variety of classes offered for a fair price point. Each instructor has their own teaching style, but they all focus on student success and encouragement. I originally started pole dancing as a way to honor myself and my body, and with the help of the instructors, I've gained a level of self confidence that I never had. If I ever need to cancel class, Ly always checks to make sure I'm okay and asks if I need anything. Even though she has a lot of students, she's very caring and mindful of each individual. The classes are structured with a warm up, the instruction and practice, time to record/practice independently, and a cool down. The instructors provide hands on spotting throughout class and will walk you through any move to ensure safe techniques to avoid injury or troubleshoot if a move isn't working for you. Instructors will also provide simpler or more advanced variations of one move to ensure access and a challenge for each student. I am a pretty sensitive and shy person, but the community at this studio helps me break out of my comfort zone with a lot of positive encouragement. The poles are spin or static and have their own dedicated spotlights so depending on the class you're taking/if you're doing open pole or freestyle, you can choose the type of lighting you want for the vibe you're feeling. I've taken a more-than-a-decade-long break from pole due to being on the opposite coast and then covid, but hoping to get back into it again + this studio is great motivation for that! Lots of different class options at varying difficulty levels -- I've only taken Dolli's classes so far but will branch out at some point. There's an upstairs kitchen area with seating and cubby holes to keep your belongings (+ a bathroom and even a shower!), so this would be a fun place to host a pole party. :]
