Stopped here while passing through. Loved the wholesome atmosphere with Scripture verses and references all around. It was refreshing to stop into a coffee shop that isn't 200% woke. Got a latte and it was quite nice. Also liked their little pile of games in the corner. I could see this being a pleasant place to spend time with a friend. Keep up the good work, guys!

    What GREAT People! Thank you!

I love this place!!! My Zebra and I travel from North Carolina to Indy and Michigan often, and I often drive through this area. I'm so sad that I hadn't found them before now! I stopped for gas, and was JONESING for some good coffee, and found Twinkleberries. The people are awesome and friendly, the coffee is the BOMB! I had to buy 2! And the sausage breakfast bagel sammich tided me over perfectly till Indy. @FootprinsofFrank and I will definitely be making this our regular stop! Frank and Frank Jr love them too!

We enjoyed this cute coffee shop to and from our trip to New River Gorge. They had many traditional and seasonal drinks to choose from! We also had some amazing baked goods with different choices both times that we stopped in. The employees made us feel right at home and talked to us about our trip! The Bible verses and lovely atmosphere were a refreshing touch! We will definitely stop again if we are in the area!

What a little find! Hubby and I have a rule... no chains on vacation. We yelp the whole way. Everything is fresh. Great service. Cute little place.

Nice little hole in the wall coffee shop/bakery with a small food menu. Paninis are nice as is the chicken salad. Decent selection of coffees and teas. Friendly staff. Indoor seating is limited due to the size of the place but they have done pretty well without making the place feel cramped. On the contrary, it feels open and airy while still having sit down accommodation for around 18 people . Single unisex restroom is large and clean and looks friendly to disabilities.

I am visiting from San Francisco, and let me just say, Twinkleberries' breakfast sandwich is big city-caliber. I would definitely go here all the time if I lived in Rio / Gallipolis. Lovely neighborhood coffee shop.

I recently saw a post on Ohio Trips' Facebook page about a charming little bakery tucked away in…read moresouthern Ohio called Four Mile Bakery. As a former chef and someone who creates food videos for my YouTube channel, I'm always searching for hidden diners, cafés, and bakeries that deserve more attention. Supporting local Ohio businesses is something I'm passionate about, so I made the drive to Jackson to see what all the buzz was about. The bakery sits along a quiet country road across from a picturesque farm with goats, horses, and cows, making the drive there part of the experience. When I walked inside, I discovered it's much more than a bakery--it's also a country general store stocked with homemade jams, jellies, sauces, and other locally made goodies. But let's be honest... the real reason for my visit was the doughnuts. Instead of the typical display case, Four Mile Bakery has a doughnut buffet where you put on plastic gloves and pick out your own favorites. It's a fun concept that lets you really take your time looking over all the incredible options. While I was filming, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Shawn. He couldn't have been more welcoming. He shared the story of the bakery, how many of their recipes were developed, and the passion that goes into what they make every day. Then came the highlight of my visit--their signature Wagon Wheel doughnut. This giant glazed doughnut is unlike any I've ever had. Most oversized doughnuts tend to be heavy, bread-like, and dense. Not this one. Somehow they've mastered the art of making it unbelievably light and airy with an almost cotton-candy-like texture. It practically melts in your mouth. It's one of the best doughnuts I've ever eaten. They also offer an impressive variety of doughnuts with all kinds of toppings and flavors, so there's something for everyone. Although they serve lunch items as well, I didn't have enough time to try them on this visit. We picked up several doughnuts along with a few items from the general store, thanked Shawn for his hospitality, and headed home. Four Mile Bakery is exactly the kind of hidden gem I love discovering. Great people, incredible homemade doughnuts, and a beautiful country setting make it well worth the drive. If you're anywhere near Jackson--or even if you're not--make the trip. The Wagon Wheel alone is worth it. P.S. Unfortunately, my camera's microphone decided to quit working during my visit, so most of the footage I captured is without sound. I guess that's just a good excuse to make another trip back to Four Mile Bakery... and somehow I don't think I'll mind having to eat another Wagon Wheel!

The owner was so friendly and told us about his business and history. The donuts are absolutely huge. I also bought some sauces and jams that look great. There is a cute a candle shop next them that a local lady runs. She makes her own candles and wax melts. She was just the cutest, sweetest lady and so very friendly. I HIGHLY recomnend going to both of these locations in Jackson Ohio.

It is in an attractive, small storefront in the historic downtown area. Although there is no indoor seating there are chairs outside . Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the wonderful aroma of freshly baked breads and treats. Directly in front of you is a case filled with delectable goodies - assoted varieties of cannoli, tiramisu, lemon bars, New York cheesecake, strawberry cake roll, chocolate cake roll, macaroni, and more!!! My husband had the Chicken Parmesan sandwich on foccacia and I had chicken with pesto, balsamic glaze, mozarella cheese, & tomato on occasion. Both sandwiches were HUGE and one alone could have easily fed both of us! We each raved about our choice - delicious, tender foccacia, generous amounts of high-quality fillings, all with the perfect blend of seasonings. Service was friendly and efficient. If at all possible, we will definitely stop by on our way back north. 10/10 (actually more!!!). A definite must-stop!

I was a little happier with my blueberry muffin than I was my Cousin Vinny. I wanted so bad for the sandwich to taste like an amazing Muffaletta because of the ingredients, but it didn't blow my mind. Still, it was fine. It was disappointing that they were out of chicken cutlets because several of the sandwiches had that as the critical ingredient. But I would go back to explore the cutlets and their various Italian mains (lasagna, meatballs, etc) if I am ever in Nelsonville again.
